Time of Reading ... Avenue, 3:35 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [462]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions show improvement from that as we have had here before.

3. In making application of that which may be helpful for the general physical reaction of the body in the present, we would not find a great deal of change to be made. When necessary for some special applications, these would only have to do with the making for the cleansing of poisons from the system that there may be the proper reactions in the assimilating forces of the body. And thus we would keep the system in the nominal, normal reactions.

4. These, as we find, would be only in keeping the necessary alkalinity and making for a proper reaction in the gastric flows in the system; which may be had from the diet in some specific manner.

5. Also we find it would be well to take Alcaroid occasionally to make for the more perfect digestion. Do not take this regularly, but only when there is the feeling or the appearance of too much fullness after meals, or a heaviness through the torso with dull, burning headaches - which at times occur, or a heaviness in the base of the brain and a stiffening in the shoulder. At such times take a quarter teaspoonful dissolved first in a little water and then a whole glass full of water added, also another glass of water taken afterwards.

6. These, as we find, should keep the normal reactions for the body.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) What particular diet should be followed? (A) Just so there is the keeping of a TENDENCY towards alkalinity. Not that this be OVERDONE; for too much alkalinity is worse than a tendency for acidity, for it becomes a disturbing force in the activities of the stomach

itself proper. For a portion of the flow in the duodenum is almost purely hydrochloric. So, at times this may be overdone. But, as indicated, the taking of the Alcaroid would make for a balancing of the diet, or the assimilations in the diet. As to the matter of diet, let it be on this order: Mornings - citrus fruits or cereals, with whole wheat or brown bread. Noons (or one meal each day) - raw, fresh vegetables. Evenings - well-cooked vegetables, with a little meat occasionally; but all of these should preferably be prepared in their OWN juices, to make for better assimilation. This would be the nominal manner for following the diet.

9. (Q) Is Dr. Jackson's Meal good for the body? (A) Very well if taken occasionally; not so well to be kept at continually.

10. (Q) Is coffee or tea good for this body? (A) Coffee is better than tea, though the body may prefer the tea. Coffee without milk and without sugar is preferable; but coffee without cream or milk IS a food value. There is very little food value in tea, though it is a stimulant. Coffee is preferable.

11. (Q) Any kind of intoxicating drinks? (A) WINE is good for all, if taken alone or with black or brown bread. Not with meats so much as with just bread. This may be taken between meals, or as a meal; but not too much - and just once a day. Red wine only.

12. (Q) Is tobacco good? (A) Tobacco in moderation, as all stimulants, is not so harmful. However, overacidity or overalkalinity causes same to become detrimental.

13. (Q) What brands of tobacco are best? (A) Just tobacco, and no brand, is best! In its NATURAL state it is preferable to any of the combinations that are ordinarily put on the market in package tobacco!

14. (Q) In what minerals is the body lacking? (A) This would depend upon the period in which this would be asked. In the immediate, there is the tendency for the lack of calcium; though this may be gained for THIS body much preferably in diet than in taking those things that would add the elements as minerals, see? That is, taken as mineral salts from the foods would be much preferable.

462-6 Page 3

These may be gained the better by making for activity in the glands of the assimilating system, rather than the thyroid; for these tend to oversecrete and thus make for the using up of the energies in these directions.

15. (Q) What seems to be wrong with the back of the neck? (A) Strain, and the lack of the proper forces or influences for the normal correction and flow of circulation through same.

16. (Q) Why is the body underweight, and is it harmful? (A) The normal weight which is set as a standard by some should never be a criterion for such a body as this! When the body feels WELL, whether it is underweight or overweight, this is the preferable way and manner to judge. The adding of weight is the adding of those things that make for the excess of reserve in fats, starches and sugars. These are harmful to the body. So under the present existent conditions, it is not harmful to the body to be underweight, just so the strength and vitality is maintained.

17. (Q) What causes the roaring in the head? (A) The disturbance of circulation to those portions in the upper part of the body. Hence these activities as indicated for the body that it would be well to preserve.

18. (Q) What causes the body to vomit food at times? (A) As indicated, the excess of alkalinity. This makes for regurgitation and does not carry on; for the food moving from the stomach itself, or through the pylorus and to the duodenum, makes for regurgitation. Hence, as indicated, when this fullness occurs, take those properties that will form a chyle to make for assimilation and equalize the lactic forces in the digestive system.

19. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) We would keep these things as indicated; keeping a normal BALANCE. Well at times to test the body with litmus paper, both through the spittle and through the urine, that there may be - as indicated - kept the tendency of the BALANCE, rather than an excess in either direction.
