1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before, [464] - called it another name then. [GD's note: In some previous instances Gertrude Cayce presented [464]'s full name, not just the middle initial as in this instance.]
2. There have been many changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. There are still indications of the ineffectual activity of the glands of the system, and the coordination of the eliminating forces of the system. Heats, diets, activities, have only aided in staying the effects; not eliminating the causes.
3. We would find, were there taken in the present those of the manipulations as would be osteopathically given for the condition in the lumbar and dorsal region, not that this may be loosened entirely, but this may be relieved so that there is not so much pain with the body. When the pain gets severe, we would use those of the hot Epsom Salts packs on same. First we would bathe the body - that is, sponge the body off, see - with hot water, see - not tepid, HOT water - as the body may bear - see? Then we would put 5 drops of Atomidine in 1 quart of water, see, bathing the body off then with THIS; that is, the place where we would apply the salts packs, and we will find it will bring relief.
4. We would also take Atomidine internally, for the GLANDS of the body; not as directed on bottle, but in THIS manner: Of mornings, before breakfast is taken, 3 drops in half a glass of water, drinking a little more water afterwards, see? Before noon, 2 drops in half a glass of water. Before retiring, 5 drops in half a glass of water. After 2 to 4 days we will find there will be a reaction from the kidneys, with the taking of this. Because they become more active, do not stop - but reduce the quantity of the Atomidine taken, taking only 1 dose just before retiring, not over 5 drops, see? Keep this up for 3 to 4 weeks. Then we will find, will these be adhered to - taking the manipulations about twice each week, the packs when necessary - conditions will be changed in the system. Do that. Ready for
