Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [464]; this we have had before.
2. Now as we find there are many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Some show improvement, some are not so well; others show complications through the activity of changes that have come about in the general conditions of the body itself.
3. These are the conditions as we find them in the present, as compared with those disturbances as we have given here before.
4. As we find there has not been the full alleviation of those portions in the cerebrospinal system where there are pressures in the cerebrospinal system through the lower dorsal and lumbar area.
5. Hence there are still the distresses across those portions of the system at times.
6. As we find also the effect that has been created by the infectious forces from cold or congestion or "flu" has made for a combination of disturbances through the alimentary canal, owing to the poor eliminations.
7. Hence in connection with those pressures that have been existent there tends to be an engorgement in the transverse and the descending colon, that produces a pressure upon the left portion of the body and affecting sympathetically - rather than organically - the heart's activity; producing a shortness of breath when there are those activities of the body in making for any great amount of activity in which there is especially the moving of the body up and down, as would be in climbing steps, or in stooping, or in exercises of that nature or character.
8. This then is rather a sympathetic condition in the circulation than an organic heart activity.
9. Hence it is something of a functional condition; though if it is allowed to be magnified through the imaginative

forces or the sympathetic reactions through the activity of the sympathetic nerve system, by suggestion or by such conditions, there may become such a fullness there as to engorge the flow of the circulation from the heart to the liver - which has shown also some congestion owing to the effects of the cold and the activity of the body in these directions, or eliminations; as to produce some distresses that would be such as to engorge the condition and tend to become a static condition, or that in which the body would become more or less susceptible, more and more in this way and manner, if this is allowed to remain for long.
10. As we would find, then, in the activities of the conditions for the body in the present:
11. We would use the Radio-Active Appliance that has been intimated for the body, consistently; keeping the plates clean and seeing that there is not an overflow of the ice and water above the Appliance itself. This will tend to equalize the circulation.
12. It would be better if there were those manipulative forces used to release the pressures, to equalize and to make for a better coordination throughout the forces of the body-functionings themselves.
13. Also we find that at periods when there are those distresses through the area, it would be beneficial to apply heat with Epsom Salts Packs from saturated solution over the lower portion of the abdomen, as well as the lumbar and lower dorsal area.
14. Now we find that the use of the Eno Salt as an assistance towards producing the better activity through the alimentary canal would be very desirable. Take two heaping teaspoonsful in a large glass of water every morning before the breakfast, for four or five days; then leave off for four to five days; then repeat the dose again. Do not fill the glass too full of water before the Eno Salt is put in same.
15. The Radio-Active Appliance should be taken each day for an hour.
16. The massage osteopathically or neuropathically given through those areas of the whole length of the cerebrospinal system will give relief for the body, if these will be adhered to.
17. As we find, the general activities - stay in the open as much as possible. Have the surroundings and the activities as agreeable in the general sense for the body as is possible; such as to make for the abilities of the body to see the beauties even in those things that are as hardships, or the activities or associations in the surroundings.

18. In the diets, these have been given oft. Rather tend to follow those that have been known to be better for the body, as it knows its own self.
19. Do that and we find we may bring the better conditions for this body, [464].
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) Are my lungs affected? (A) Only as a sympathetic condition in the circulatory forces of the body, which by the removal of the distresses in the alimentary canal or colon, and with the equalizing of the circulation along the cerebrospinal system, should be cleared up.
22. (Q) Why the cough? (A) The poor circulation and the pressures through the area as indicated from which the pulmonaries and the respiratory system receive impulse from the cerebrospinal system, produced by the pressure in the colon upon the congested areas along the cerebrospinal system.
23. (Q) What should be done for my eyes and ears that are affected? (A) Removal of those pressures as indicated in the cerebrospinal system as sympathetic with the activities to the vegetative or sympathetic nerve system will make for a better condition. Naturally, cleansing or using a weak solution of the Boracic Acid would be beneficial to the body. The proportions would be about a teaspoonful in a full pint of distilled or re-boiled water, and strain through a cloth and then use as a wash or as a bath for the eyes.
24. (Q) My hearing? (A) Just as has been indicated; removal of the pressures on same will make for bettered conditions.
25. (Q) What can I do to restore my sense of taste and smell? (A) As has been indicated, this is pressure upon the sympathetic nerve system that makes for a pressure upon the organs of the sensory forces. With the removal of the pressure of these, and the circulatory forces increased, these will return. Do these as we have indicated.
