R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [466].
2. Now, as we find, the conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body are of rather the specific nature. And while there are many complications from this disorder, apparently, with the correction of that which disturbs the better equilibrium - or prevents the proper coordination - we would find that the mental and the ability for proper coordination would develop in a more normal way and manner.
3. These conditions have to do with the nerve impulses from an injury received when the body was in its younger developing years; two or two and a half years of age.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [466] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. In the inception of the condition there was an injury to the lower end of the spine, by an injury that was supplemented by conditions that arose in the body soon afterwards in the form of a germ order of disorder in the body; and it began first with the incoordination of the body's activities towards reaching for, or for the attempts to make for normal developments in controlling the impulses of the physical body towards the mental awakening and mental development of the body.
6. Hence the activities that affect the body have produced an enlargement and hence a tightness, on the nerve ends of the sympathetic AND cerebrospinal system in the coccyx end of the spine. The reaction to the mental activities has not been of the nature that has made for wasting of the activities in the brain. Rather there has been a submerged or subjugated activity, so that the reflexes to the brain have been rather the incoordinations through the impulses

received through the sensory reactions in the body; not defecting, only producing a reflex in the locomotions or in the activities of normal development from the physical senses of the body. For, it would be found in test that the sensory responses in the body are almost abstruse or opposite in their reflections as to sense of direction, sense of impelling influences, feeling, smell, and taste; while the hearing and the vision are only deflected and make for the inabilities of their being expressed or for them to give expression through the normal reaction of the body to such conditions.
7. The condition has been of such a duration as to allow the body in its physical reactions to the sensory body and to the mental reactions of same to become normal, for the physical being. Hence there will be necessitated LONGER periods of activity to bring about responses in the coordination between the sensory and the cerebrospinal and the impulse of reactions of the body.
8. But with the correction of this condition existent in the coccyx end of the spine, and with the applications of those properties in the body as to produce to the nerve reflexes the stimuli necessary to make for a continuation of the nerve ends to respond to the controlling influence between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, in the brush portion of the spine itself, we will bring the body to that condition in this material plane where it may be able to care for itself, and to make the responses to the influences from without and from within coordinate with its activities in the material world.
9. The corrections in the spine we would make rather in the osteopathic manner.
10. And we would apply to the body the vibrations in low electrical formation in wet cell battery of the Chloride of Gold. The first anode would be applied to the brachial plexus center, and the other nickel anode carrying the Gold would be applied last - to the last sacral plexus center, for at least thirty minutes each day; AFTER a week's treatment in adjustments and manipulations osteopathically.
11. Do these, and we will find we will bring a near normal reaction EVENTUALLY. To be sure, it will require patience, persistence; yet these applications, these corrections, will bring bettered conditions for the body.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) What doctor would you recommend to carry out this treatment correctly? (A) Richardson.
14. (Q) Can this condition be removed entirely, so that she
466-1 Page 3
will be normal and as other children her age? (A) As outlined, It will be at first a slow development. With the corrections osteopathically and with the vibrations being carried into the system through the wet cell battery (that will make for a connection and a coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, from this end of the spine that makes a connection with the developments of impulses throughout the system to the brain reactions in the imaginative and the responsive forces in sympathetic nerve reaction), we will bring eventually a near normal condition. We would have periods of treatments for a month, and then a rest period with only the battery treatment for two to three weeks; then a period of deeper manipulation and more corrections made in reducing the pressures, in reducing the engorgement of the muscular and cartilaginous forces in the spine end.
15. (Q) How long before results can be seen? (A) In the second period of application we will see decided results coming.
16. (Q) Did the mastoid operation at 3 yrs. of age have anything to do with it? (A) Only as indicated. An addition to, or taking from the system the fluids that would have completed a connection with the glands that extend the whole length of the spine.
17. (Q) Does she need any medicine at all? (A) We wouldn't give any, in the present.
18. (Q) What about the diet? (A) The general diet that is of a normal developing body. That that is to be applied is through the battery applications. Hence keep these specifically as has been set up for their application, keeping them clean - and recharging when the discharge is nil.
19. (Q) What is the duty or privilege of the parents in this case? (A) This would necessitate, of course, going into that which is to be builded in their experience from the care of the entity or soul.
20. (Q) Any advice or guidance to the mother, who wishes to follow these instructions? (A) Be patient, be persistent; knowing that there is being applied that in this condition that will make for the opportunity for the soul to give self-expression in this experience.
21. We are through for the present. Copy to Mother (2 copies, 1 to be given to Dr. Richardson)
