Time of Reading 4:40 to 4:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [466]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there are changes coming about in the general physical forces of the body.
3. While these as indicated are necessarily slow, as we find by the addition of those influences that may make for the better reactions through the ganglia of the nervous system, as makes for coordination with the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal and the reactions to the sensory forces of the body, this may be stimulated to a reaction that will aid in assisting this to be somewhat hastened.
4. Though, to be sure, these will make for changes that will produce that wherein the body at times will be somewhat harder to handle, these kept constantly - with the vibratory forces as indicated in and through the lower form of electrical vibration - and these kept - we will find we may aid in assisting this body to that of a much nearer normalcy.
5. We would begin then as with these:
6. First we would use the Soda Packs. This is prepared by putting the dry soda upon wet or very damp, heavy cloths. This bound across the lower caecum and across the lower portion of the lumbar area, and across the lower portion in the left side, or across the whole of the lower portion, across and around the whole of the lower portion of the abdominal area. This kept on about once or twice a week for an hour.
7. Then once or twice a week use the heavy Castor Oil Packs; these as hot as the body can well stand same; and after each of these we would massage over the areas and along the spine - especially at the base of the brain and on the last lumbar plexus - with a compound made from equal portions of Tincture of Myrrh and Olive Oil heated and put together, then to this add the Oil of Wintergreen the same amount, the
466-3 Page 2
Oil of Sassafras half the amount, see. Massage all the body will absorb each time.
8. Two of the Soda Packs, two of the Castor Oil Packs each week.
9. Keep the rest of these as have been indicated.
10. We should find these will assist in making for better coordinations through the body.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Should the Castor Oil Packs be over the same area as the Soda Packs? (A) This more over the liver AND the caecum area, or more on the RIGHT side than on the other side.
13. (Q) Are the osteopathic adjustments being given as they should be in order to help this body? (A) These are very good, though there should be more specific coordination made in the lumbar and coccyx area as well as in the cervical and upper dorsal.
14. (Q) What caused her sleeplessness last night, and what would have helped to quiet her? (A) The use of the Appliance will help to quiet same. This is the natural reaction from the attempts of the body to produce coordination, which under the existent conditions overtaxes the body. Hence the applications of the properties as indicated to produce, with the relaxations, the better coordination in the nervous forces and their reflexes to the body.
15. (Q) Are the treatments being carried out correctly at home? (A) These are very good. There should be kept the plates very clean, and keep the solutions changed as has been indicated.
16. (Q) How long before some improvement may be seen? (A) With these we should see in the next hundred and twenty days decided change for the better.
17. (Q) Why does she ball her fist up and keep it thrust in her mouth so much of the time? How can this be overcome? (A) The natural reactions from the attempts of the body to find self-expression. The applications of these things as indicated should gradually change these, as well as to make suggestions to the body while the massage is being given. The massages will be most pleasant treatment to the body - that's with the oils, to be sure.
18. (Q) Can the bone and nerve specialist in Richmond help my child in any way? (A) As we have given and indicated, these will not be aided
466-3 Page 3
until there can be the developments of the plexus and ganglia that make for connections to produce coordinations. Operative forces upon the body in any manner, those of nerve specialists' reactions, would only make for a staying of the conditions that might eventually be entirely eliminated.
19. (Q) Do you think it would be of any help to have an X-ray of the spine that might show where an operation might help? (A) This may assist those making the adjustments, but as we find these would only prove as to those things as indicated - and these are tissue involved more than structural portions of the body, as has been given.
20. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time, or for those who have charge of same? (A) Be patient, be persistent, and we will find that the applications will aid.
