1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [470].
2. As we find, while conditions are much improved and better resistance is being builded in all portions of the body, there should be those precautions taken by the body of not going at anything too swiftly, or of overtiring or straining the body; whether in mental or physical activity. But rest plenty after each meal. Or, as the old saw goes: "After breakfast work a while, After lunch rest a while, After dinner walk a mile."
3. These as we find would be well even with this body. Not necessarily here literally, but in spirit of it taken, see?
4. For the changes that have naturally come, and the general eliminations that have been induced through the system, have left rather a quickening of the pulsations, and necessarily a quickening of the heart's activity. But no organic or functional disturbance; rather a reflex to the general activity of the body.
5. Precautions then in those directions; not eating too fast, and keeping the diet much in the manner as has been indicated, we should find the strength, the vitality returning to the body, and the opportunities for the better physical, better mental reactions in every manner.

7. (Q) How often osteopathic manipulations now? (A) One week twice a week, the next week once a week. These should be sufficient in the present. And these should be rather a GENERAL treatment than a specific, unless there are periods when through either activity or congestion some local disturbance sets up. Then, we find these kept for another two, three, four weeks SHOULD make near to normal.
8. (Q) Would the violet ray be of benefit to me? (A) The ultra-violet would be more helpful for this body. But these should not be too severe, too long. And use the Quartz light for this body rather than the mere heat light,

but the penetrating. Or the Infra Red would still be better for this body, for then it would act more upon the deeper tissues and attune the activity of the circulation to the conditions of the body. This should be, of course, not too long but sufficient that there is a warming as it were to the internal forces of the system itself.
9. (Q) How often, where and how applied? (A) The natural application is to the spine, especially in the areas from the central cervical to the lower lumbar; and applied once a week should be sufficient, and for a period of twenty minutes AFTER the light or lamp has heated. And should be at least thirty-six to thirty-eight inches from the body.
10. (Q) Does this refer to the Infra Red Light? (A) To be sure, to the Infra Red.
11. (Q) Any change in diet? (A) As has just been indicated, keep the nominal diet as has been suggested.
