Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Body and enquiring mind, in regard to his mental, material and spiritual development; who seeks information, advice and counsel as to his home, his work, and his spiritual awakening. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [478]; this we have had before, from VARIED approaches.
2. In the physical forces of the body: While these are very good in many respects, there are precautions that should be taken by the body in respect to the eliminations of the system. Not merely the eliminations through the alimentary canal, but respecting the COORDINATION of same with the organs of the hepatic circulation and with the respiratory system.
3. Keep more of those things in the diet that will tend toward an alkalin-reaction in the system, and we will find these conditions will clarify themselves.
4. Use those properties of Alcaroid occasionally after meals. Some of those disturbances have arisen from the lack of the proper balance between the hydrochlorics and the alkalins, making for those flows from the lower portion of the stomach; these will be materially aided. Take half or a quarter teaspoonful, not after every meal but occasionally.
5. Ready for questions respecting the mental, material and spiritual welfare.
6. (Q) Regarding the home, ..., Va.: Will the Nat'l Realty Corp. of N.Y. accept the amount the Home Loan have offered to finance my home? (A) This is still a mooted condition as we find with the finance corporation, but WILL eventually be acceptable. And if there are the presentations by the Home Loan, or through the activities of the body in connection with same, not only will it not be rejected but there will be those influences brought about that will insure that same will be accepted. [See 478-5 on 11/13/35.]
7. (Q) Will those influences come through Theodore Amelson,
478-4 Page 2
720 Law Bldg.? (A) Through these efforts and through those associations, yes. This will be the manner in which it will approach [478], while those influences will be brought by those associated WITH Amelson.
8. (Q) Will it be safe for me to make certain repairs on the property now? (A) This as we find would NOT be the most advisable thing, for this would give an air of the independence that is not yet in fact - or on paper sufficient yet.
9. (Q) When will this be accepted, or about when? (A) In sufficient time for the handling through those groups of the loans that are now near to closing; or between now and the 20th of the present month.
10. (Q) Regarding regular work: Will the Juvenile Court Budget for '36 be accepted, as presented, by the City Council? (A) This, as we find, would and does require the considerations in many varied directions; that enter not only into the economic situations but the political influence or activity also. As we find, there should be the insistency by those that are HEADING the Juvenile activities that these WILL be accepted. Unless there is an influence brought through those channels, there will be the tendency on the part of some to shave the amount NOW being sought. But with these insistencies and with these presentations by those in the positions as indicated, same should be acceptable.
11. (Q) Will there be an increase in salary? (A) With this, there would be an increase in salary. This would be changed back to that which has been the allowance in these directions in former years.
12. (Q) How long will Judge Cochran remain with the Court? (A) This is another problematical condition in which a great many conditions are to be considered. The most MINDFUL one will be not the political nor the desire of the activities of Cochran, but external influences that may make for a change to other activities.
13. (Q) What is Judge Cochran's attitude towards me? (A) This should be most satisfactory. Of course, there have been some differences, yet there has gradually grown to be more and more the reliance upon the activities and the opinions of [478] in relation to those activities in these directions. Hence this may be said to be in the present most satisfactory.
14. (Q) Could Wm. W. Dey [1/5/34 Judge W. W. Dey had

referred parents to EC for a physical rdg. for their 12 yr. old son, [477].] be reappointed Judge? (A) There have been both good and bad conditions that have arisen in connection with Dey. Owing to some associations, some question marks in some directions that have been set up. But with what may be termed a political GROOMING in the associations or connections with some, this may be brought about. These are questions, however, that are in the minds of individuals that have (as is understood) "the say" in respect to such.
15. (Q) Regarding material welfare: In a recent dream I was told to make use of 283 and 864 [Numbers? Numerology?] to assist in adjusting financial situation. Should I make use of it? (A) These, as has been indicated to the body, are questions that must be decided on the part of self, or in the own conscience of the body. There are oft those associations and connections that a body may easily persuade self that it is right, that it is not doing this or that in a harmful manner or as an injury in any manner to another, yet it will aid and sustain self. But, as has been said by the Psalmist, "There is a way that seemeth right, but the end thereof is confusion." [Pr. 14:12; 16:25] Oft has it been given the entity in other directions, "Let not thy right hand know what thy left hand doeth." [Mat. 6:3] Again, "Study to show thyself approved unto thy Maker, [2 Tim. 2:15] rightly divining the words of truth; keeping SELF unspotted from the world. Let NOT thy good be evil-spoken of." [Rom. 14:16] The mental body is attuned to influences that may guide or may direct an individual, as the entity in the vision has seen those things, those numbers that would present a manner or a way of escape, but how hath the Lord given, "Yet will I SHOW thee a more excellent way." [1 Cor. 12:31] Choose thou.
16. (Q) Regarding spiritual awakening: The sermons at a recent Revival have disturbed me a great deal because they were not in accord with what I believe as Truth. Am I correct in that which I have accepted? (A) In this it becomes, as we find, a matter of EXPERIENCE based upon opinions that may or may not be merely opinions or ideas. This to self should EVER be the test, for He hath given no uncertain way to those that would know - and seek
478-4 Page 4
to know - His ways, and that which is the way of truth and life: [John 14:21] "My Spirit will, does, bear witness with thy spirit whether ye be the sons of God or not." [Rom. 8:16.] Again, saith the Master, "He that loveth me and keepeth my words, with the same will I come and abide; that he - or YOU - or YE - may know I am INDEED thy brother." [John 14:21] Hence in self the experiencing of those words in the mental and the spiritual and the material SELF WILL BE the answer to self in no UNCERTAIN terms. For the way of the Lord is not past finding out. [Rom. 11:33] While the experience of man with his fellow man may indicate to an individual that this or that manner may be a MEANS OF approach, yet from the individual viewing same his experience being different, has not made it different as to the point of contact nor as to those definite laws; for the VISION is of the individual. Look upon those experiences of Him who is not even questioned by those that proclaim, profess, or are active in any moral aptitude of life, when He gave, "There be some standing here that will see me come in my glory. And He taketh with Him Peter, James and John and goeth into the mount, and THERE was transfigured before them." [Mark 9:2] [Mat. 17:2] What is happening then, as is in thine own experience, when thou art listening to those - as were those of the nine left in the valley? Were they not great preachers, great ministers? Did they not have a close contact with the very Truth and Life itself? Yet it is not that He had departed, not that He was withdrawn. Yet their ability to heal as in former times, as in experiences later, did not become effective. Did it take from the activities or add to the activities of Peter, James and John - their being in the Presence? Peter denied. John held to himself. James - by his very exertion - Herod laid his hands upon him. All of these should be as ensamples, as lessons in thine own experience; that ye may be either upon the mount in thine experience with Him, or in the valley with the nine, and still of Him, should not disturb thee. For hath He not given (and His promises are sure), "Believe in me, abide in me, and I will bring to thine remembrance ALL necessary that YE MAY KNOW the way"? His words are TRUE! [John 14:26]
478-4 Page 5
Hold FAST to that thou hast set in thine HEART as concerning Him. For He has promised to come to thee, to all who seek, who live, who act in such a manner that His presence is ACCEPTABLE to those who seek.
17. (Q) While listening to a sermon ten days ago, which did not fit my present developments, I for a few brief moments lost track of the speaker entirely and my whereabouts. I pictured myself walking up to the pulpit, pointing to the wall, and requesting the speaker to read. He dropped to the floor on one knee and exclaimed, "My God!" The words as pictured on the wall were, "Thou fool, seek and know the truth." I spoke no other word except, "Read." After this I came to myself and realized where I was. When I got home I related the above to Mrs. [...] and to my surprise she had a similar experience in that she pictured me walking up to the pulpit and expressing my views. This has in a way disturbed me greatly. Please explain. Was the message intended for me? (A) Message intended for thee, in that thou hast (and as we have just given) viewed rather the glory as from the MOUNT, and that thou mayest - not in harsh words but in GENTLENESS of manner - point out the way to many that be even in high places. Hold FAST to that thou hast gained. For He will comfort thee. How gavest He? "Let not your heart be troubled, neither be afraid." [John 14:1] For fear ye rather him that may destroy or take away that thou already hast! The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, making the paths straight, guiding the self. [Ps. 19:7] That troubles, turmoils arise; these, as He gave, must ever be - while in materiality. Yet, as thou didst vision, thou wert out of thine body and COULD proclaim to the minister, the speaker, "Thou fool." How spoke thy Master? "Trouble not thyself because they speak to others so. For they that gathereth not with us in body may scatter abroad to those that are yet in darkness." [Luke 11:23; Mat. 12:30] "Feed thou my lambs; tend thou my sheep." [John 21:15--17]
