Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Penna. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [480]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions in every way - physical and mental - show a great change from that as we have had here before.

3. While in the physical reactions we still have those conditions of irregularity in the quantity and time of the menstrual periods, THESE conditions show a great deal of betterment in the present.

4. The lack of the nervous strain and the abilities to rest, yet with sufficient physical activity to make for the regular routine of bodily function in this relationship, have made and do make for betterments in these conditions.

5. Those properties, then, that have been used in these directions, as we find, should be diminished gradually, or ONLY a very small or half quantity or less taken - and this only near to the periods.

6. We find that it would be well, through the general activity, to occasionally - once or twice a month - have a general manipulation to make for a coordinating in those centers from which there arises the radial activity of the organs of the system; or specifically, in the lumbar plexus, the solar plexus, the brachial plexus, and the cardiac and SECONDARY cardiac or hypogastric and pneumogastrics.

7. These as indicated, with the manipulations and coordinations through these areas, will be sufficient for the keeping of the body in nearer normal activity.

8. The diet should be more body-building; that is, less acid foods and more of the alkalin-reacting will be the better in these directions. Milk and all its products should be a portion of the body's diet now; also those food values carrying an easy assimilation of iron, silicon, and those elements or chemicals - as all forms of berries, most all forms of vegetables that grow under the ground, most of the vegetables of a leafy nature. Fruits and vegetables, nuts and the like, should form a greater part of the regular diet

in the present - and in the preparations for those activities to come later, whether in relationships in the physical manner or those in the mental forces that are necessary in such activities.

9. Then, a general and a specific outline would be as this:

10. Take sufficient exercise to make the body NOMINALLY tired. Swimming, walking, tennis, riding, or ANY outdoor games or sports are well.

11. Keep closer to the alkalin diets; using fruits, berries, vegetables particularly that carry iron, silicon, phosphorous and the like - and these as we have indicated.

12. Once or twice a month have the manipulations that make for SPECIFIC coordination in the centers indicated.

13. Abstain from too great a use of quantities of the Tonicine in the present, and depend more upon the RELAXING of the system and upon the diet and the exercise.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Are inoculations against contagious diseases necessary for me before sailing in September? [from N.Y. to England and Scotland] (A) As we find, only where the requirements are such as to DEMAND same would this be adhered to at all. So far as the body-physical condition is concerned, the adherence to the use of carrots, lettuce and CELERY EVERY day at a meal or as a portion of the meal will insure against any contagious infectious forces with which the body may be in contact.

16. (Q) Can immunization against them be set up in any other manner than by inoculation? (A) As indicated, if an alkalinity is maintained in the system - especially with lettuce, carrots and celery, these in the blood supply will maintain such a condition as to immunize a person.

17. (Q) Any further advice for my welfare? (A) Keep a constructive, OPTIMISTIC attitude towards the associations, the environs, the surroundings. As has been indicated, the relationships that will arise from the undertakings in the conditions of the body will be aided by those activities, if the precautions are taken that will make such AS a portion of the EXPERIENCES that make for BODILY help. Keep in the attitude, then, of helpfulness, hopefulness; and we will find life and its experiences more and more worth while. Keep the faith of thy fathers in those relationships thou would establish.

18. We are through for the present.
