Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [483].

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb this body and prevent the more normal physical reactions. The general condition, as we find, may be described as one of neurasthenia; or a neurasthenic hypochondriac. Hence the conditions change or alter very materially from time to time, and whatever has been or is impressionable to the mind and to the surroundings soon becomes a portion of the disorder.

3. This condition when it begins in a body (not necessarily this body, for this will be described too) is caused by, or arises from, some specific condition in some portion of the body that makes for, or acts with, both the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system to produce such a reaction upon a body that is any way near normal. See?

4. Hence, though the condition may be termed in this body, [483], as being the greater portion neurasthenia, or a neurotic condition, there ARE physical conditions that need their attention or correction - and these, then, with the suggestive forces that may be applied through those things that may be given for the corrections in this particular condition, will bring about a near normal condition for the body.

5. In this body the cause arose from the results in childbearing, and the activity of same upon the sympathetic nerve system as related to the coordination between the moral forces of the body itself as to its ideal and to those conditions or surroundings about the body as in relation to itself and its own condition. [GD's note: Mrs. [483] had no children at the time of the reading, but I understood that she had lost a baby - perhaps by miscarriage or some neglect on her part?]

6. Hence we have reactions that bring at times most

483-1 Page 2

excruciating pains in the locomotions of the body. At others anything that the body eats disagrees with same. At others we will find periods of nausea, and the inability for the breath to be normal - or shortness of breath, and the heart's actions apparently are involved in the condition. ALL are of a nervous condition produced by the inabilities of coordination to be created between the activities of the body as in the sympathetic system and the cerebrospinal system itself.

7. Not that there is an organic heart disorder, but a sympathetic reaction from the general nervous tension within the body.

8. Not that there is growth of any kind in the torso of the body; neither is there a disturbance in the lungs or head from pressures in those immediate portions of the body, but there ARE pressures in the pelvic forces that first produced the reactions as to make for the inability of locomotion without distresses to the body. And the general depletion of the vital forces as to make for activity in a normal way and manner arises from the periods when the digestive forces of the body, when the activities of the influences in the system prevented the retaining of - or the proper assimilation of - foods, as related to rebuilding the body.

9. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, these - as we find - should be done CONSISTENTLY and PERSISTENTLY; and the results from same will depend upon just the manner there is kept that expectancy of the body to gain results - and upon how consistent and persistent the body will be in carrying out these, and in using the body in activity to cope with and meet the developing forces in the system.

10. First we would get the Radio-Active Appliance (plain), that would be used to equalize the superficial circulation of the body. Each time the attachment is made, make the alteration. If the attachment is made first to the right wrist and left ankle, the next attachment would be first to the left wrist and to the right ankle. See? This should be attached each day for at least a thirty minute period morning and evening, see? In the mornings the rest period would be from ten to ten-thirty. In the evening the rest period would be from six to six-thirty, or from seven to seven-thirty. Each time make the alteration in attaching.

11. We would also use the Violet Ray applicator, or the Violet Ray - using the bulb applicator, and beginning in the central portion of the spine treat DOWNWARD; that is, away from the heart, see, away from the upper circulation, to the end of the spine; then down to the toes, principally along

483-1 Page 3

the back portion of the limbs, along the sciatic, but particularly over the lumbar and sacral area. Beginning at the 8th or 9th dorsal, go downward each day for FIFTEEN minutes. Do not use the Violet Ray ABOVE the diaphragm area, but DOWNWARD - and AWAY FROM the body. This may be given each evening at the time for retirement, see?

12. Also we would use the electrically driven vibrator, using the ball or hard anode or applicator, and mark deep into the portions of the body ABOVE the diaphragm, see? but going towards the head; not from the head down, but principally along the cerebrospinal nerve centers from the 8th and 9th dorsal to the base of the brain. Then use the sponge applicator over the head, face, neck, over the upper portion of the body from the diaphragm up, you see, over the front portion of the body; especially along the sternum area (that is, the breastbone), around the lower portions of the ribs, over the liver area, over the spleen area - but these all at the UPPER portion, not the lower portion of the diaphragm, see? This we would give for at least TWENTY to THIRTY minutes each day of morning - and then get up! After the body has rested from this treatment, had its breakfast, then GET UP, see? And SIT up, walk, move about! Not to excess, to be sure, at first - but MAKE the EFFORT; for that help that may come to self is by using that energy or that knowledge, that intellect, that understanding, that you have! Using that you have, you gain the more - whether it be in the physical strength, in the mental strength, or in the application of spiritual truths within the experience of self.

13. Take no properties internally save that which may be had for keeping eliminations properly in the system, which should be altered or changed from time to time so that the body-mind does not come to depend upon some one character of application; but rather alter the reactions by the character of the diet itself.

14. This would be an outline for the diet, though - to be sure - it may be altered from time to time:

15. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, with brown toast or coddled egg or both.

16. Noons - nothing save GREEN vegetables, and those RAW! A salad may be made of tomatos, celery, lettuce, carrots, peppers, and the like. Dressings may be used - the mayonnaise or the oil dressing.

17. Evenings - only the green vegetables, or even those that are dried, but WELL-cooked! No meats of any character. If there is the desire to use more proteins, use the vegetable forces that make combinations of same; preferably having two

483-1 Page 4

to three vegetables ABOVE the ground to one under the ground and BEST in the evening meal to prepare it for self, and you'll be much better off!

18. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) What is the condition in stomach and bowels? (A) From the inactivities of the body there are those tendencies for less than the normal movement or activity for the body. But if the applications are used of the natures that we have indicated, this will be eliminated. And, as indicated, very little of the treatment is for the stomach itself, but rather to make for activities in other portions of the body to coordinate with ABILITIES that lie WITHIN the activities of the system itself.

20. (Q) What should be done to remove the gas? (A) Use those things that have been indicated. Do these, and we will find - if these are taken or applied consistently, persistently, for three to five weeks - the body should be at work again, if it wishes to!
