Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ala. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [483], this we have had before. As we find, there are some improvements in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. While these at times appear to be little or very indirect in their improvements, the general strength and the attitudes (that come and go as for hopefulness for the eventual recuperative forces being established) are hopeful and helpful to that which may be accomplished by or for the body.
2. As we find, still much of the condition that has been indicated is neurotic, or psychopathic; yet the physical reactions are very definite - as have been those from the use of the vibrator as indicated over various portions of the body. As we find, we would continue to use these means, but rather use the sponge applicator, and this will make for those effectual associations of the exterior or superficial circulation and nerve reaction responding to the internal activity. And there should be made on the part of the body the more determined effort that there WILL BE, and that there MUST BE, accomplished in the physical forces that which will bring the abilities for the body physically and mentally to take its place in the active forces of its surroundings.
3. If the body continues to give way to self and to self's feelings, and not making the effort to at least have those applications necessary that will create for a balancing of coordination throughout the system, then to itself it must still remain inactive, and will become gradually so that it would be impossible for other than to remain in that condition as signified in the general conditions at present.
4. We would also find that occasionally the use of the compound known as AL-CAROID will make for a settling of the stomach, and make for better assimilations, ridding the body of the tendencies for the accumulations of gas through the

formation of acid forces in the system. Take only about half a teaspoonful in at least a FULL glass of water, and when possible TWO full glasses - or one taken after the other, see? We will find that this may be taken once a day or twice a day, should it become necessary; not taken each and every day, but sometimes for two or three or even four days in succession, when there is not the regular activity of the bowels, or when there are more distresses from gases than ordinarily.
5. We would also continue the use of the violet ray, especially over the lower portions of the cerebrospinal and to the whole portion of the lower extremities. These vibrations will be most helpful for this body.
6. Be mindful as to diet, as indicated, and when those properties are given in the proportions outlined, as we find, these will bring for the body the bettered conditions.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) What is the reason or cause for not being able to be in erect position? (A) This is more of the neurotic reaction than REAL, yet the body should make still GREATER and more efforts to overcome this; for the WILL to be bettered must be established also.
9. (Q) How may results of complete weakening be prevented? (A) By keeping the stimulations as indicated through the activities of all those things. And we will find the strength will be gained. And as the strength is gained, more and more will the body be able to use its own self and its OWN reactions. These must come, see?
10. (Q) What can be done to allow the body to sleep? (A) In most periods it sleeps sufficient. Activity of the body or of the muscular forces will be the better effect for the rest periods. Where and when it is unable, then the massage that may be given will be the most effectual thing for relieving this tension. Keep as far from sedatives as possible.
11. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these; for these, as we will find, would be the better for this body, [483]. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (AL-CAROID is an anti-acid powder manufactured by The American Ferment Co., Buffalo, N.Y., but I'm sure you can obtain it from your local druggist - or should be able to.
