1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [488]. Now, we find, while the body is very good in many respects, there are disturbances that unless corrected must, with the development of the body physical and the body mental, produce hindrances that will affect the physical in such a manner as to prevent the better manifestations of the mental and spiritual body.
2. In giving the conditions, we will find that many are obscure, in a manner, and yet are the seat or the causes of the disturbances that bring hindrances to the body. The conditions being functional, and in a manner affecting organs in their function, being then a two - yea, a threefold disturbance - these being in the eliminations as related to organic functioning. Being organic in this direction, there are affectations, yet the EFFECT is of a difference in its manifestation, and the result - as changes would come about - be different in its physical manifestation.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [488] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find over abundant in quantity, yet in its quality there are those conditions as show disorders. Especially is this true in the manner in which the lymph and the circulation, as is related to the hepatics - these affect, then, the capillary and lymphatic circulation.
5. Brain, as it were, too much of the fatty tissue to PORTIONS of the system without giving the proper muscular and sinew forces THEIR proper distribution. Hence there is seen, in the manner in which the blood's activity in its corpuscle formation - which comes from the structural portion of body, that the sinew and the ACTIVITY OF the muscular forces bring distortions and PAINS at times, as in
488-1 Page 2
knees, in extremities, in feet, in arms, and in the portions of system where the soft bone structure brings for SUCH circulation its supply of created energy in system. This in PART - not wholly - created from the lack of the activity of the system in the mastication, and the assimilation comes from the activity of proteins in the body. Now, the CHARACTER then of the blood is that it becomes over saline and over thin, as it were, with the abundance of the leukocyte and white blood and lack of red blood; yet the OPPOSITE effect from anemia; producing for same the abundance of plasm cell, yet not that that makes for strength, endurance, vitality. The SOFTENING OF the tissue being a result. Unless changes would come about, we must find that there must eventually come the SOFTENING of the structure until there would be - either through the activity of the organ so involved - the activity that would make for either the softening and a plethora, or just the opposite and anemia. The organ disturbed, then, being that one which carries for the greater part of rebuilding through its activity of secretions in system, and through its functioning as for the excretions as of poisons and puses and mucus that must be eliminated for the system. This being, then, the right lobe of the liver, and the liver ITSELF DILATED; not plethora, no - not altogether plethora - but dilated, through the activity OF the system in carrying for the quantity of blood. Had this such condition existed in old times, they would have bled the body [Bloodletting?]. We wouldn't.
6. In the functioning of the system as related to the NERVE SYSTEM, this reaction of the system, in the way and manner as seen, as has been given, is to produce rather the inertia, and not always the pep, not always the desire of activity; rather a SLOWING up of the whole ENERGIES of the body physical and the body mental; being, as it were, NOT POISONED by, but rather kept subdued, and - as it were - a SEDATIVE to the whole of the nervous systems THROUGH the condition; for with the blood supply being so engorged in system, shows channels through which these run lateral with same throughout the nerve forces of the body, the blood supply of the body - especially in the capillary circulation the body IN its activity keeps the nerve system, as it were, fagged - and while the system IN its activity finds that the energies will act QUICKLY, they soon tire out.
7. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, brain forces very good.
8. Organs of the sensory system show laxness, as is seen in eye, ear, and especially in the conditions as exist in
488-1 Page 3
throat and larynx.
9. Lungs are good.
10. Digestive system very good throughout, EXCEPT as is related to the liver itself - in both an excretory and a secretive manner. This not active sufficient, either through the gall or through the activity of the pancreas; for with the plethora in the liver, with the sedentary activity of the spleen, these form an activity that produces for the system TOO much of those conditions as go for the making up of the muco - not mucus, but muco [mucose?] - of the system, as produces for the body the tendency of the capillaries to take ON the food values RATHER than sinew and muscle building.
11. In the functioning of the DIGESTIVE system below the stomach proper, these show a tendency towards that of too much alkalin for the body, though these VARY at times, and the system finds that the reactions to same are of an exhilarating nature, and those functionings in the hepatics become those of too much activity in kidneys, that EASE the system in the greater way but produces then fullness in face, heaviness in feet, when the body responds to the activity or change.
12. In bringing, then, about the corrections for this body, [488] we are speaking of, we would first take as this - which will act in the form of the activity to change the vibratory forces of the system, and if it produces a breaking out or a rash don't be worried about it - though, if the FOODS are taken properly these should not occur. Prepare, then, as this:
13. To 1/2 gallon of distilled water, add: Wild Cherry Bark..................1 ounce, Sarsaparilla Root.................2 ounces, Sassafras Root Bark.............1/2 ounce, Prickly Ash Bark..................1 ounce, Cinchona or Quinine Bark........1/2 ounce. Reduce this by simmering, or slow boiling - this preferably should be done in a container of enamel, that WILL not cause the properties in their reaction to have the metallic forces or vibrations - and the steam or vapors should be allowed to escape when these are being prepared. Reduce to one PINT, see? Strain off and while warm add 2 ounces of alcohol, with 1 dram Balsam of Tolu cut in same - adding to this before it is added to the solution, 3 minims of Tincture of Capsici. The dose would be teaspoonful 4 times each day, taken about thirty minutes before the meals - and eat the
488-1 Page 4
meals, but do not eat too much. Rather be just a little bit hungry, or not fully satisfied when the body leaves the dining or the eating, and drink WATER AFTER eating - not while eating, see?
14. This will change the whole activity in the system as related to the DIGESTIVE system, especially the pancreas, the liver, and the spleen.
15. When this has been taken for about eight to ten days, then we would begin with manipulations that will correct those tendencies toward the circular lesion in the 6th, 7th and 8th dorsal.
16. We would also be mindful that those of the eliminations through alimentary canal are kept a little above normal.
17. We would also take the vapor baths, with that of the witchhazel RUB FOLLOWING such baths. While the alcohol and the oil may be given following the bath, before same is applied rub WELL with the witchhazel - a WEAKENED solution, about three to one - three parts water, or three ounces of water to one ounce of the witchhazel, see? Do this. Then, in thirty days we would give further instructions. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) What diet? (A) That of rather the ELIMINANT, with STABILITY in the vitamins and the proteins. That one especially of vitamin D.
19. (Q) What can be done to correct weak arches? (A) When the manipulations are being given, if these are treated in the same way and manner these will disappear.
20. (Q) What should be done for the glandular condition? (A) We are starting on that! Do this, and we will get to that!
21. (Q) What makes body so stout? (A) That's just been described!
22. (Q) What can be done for the knees? (A) We are starting on the knees! but we are starting where the trouble is, and not on what the effect created! With the manipulations as come after conditions are being changed in the system, we will find that all portions of the system - where the sinew and the muscular forces in the joints - will be aided to their proper elasticity and proper activity. Let's commence!
23. (Q) Does condition affect his growth! (A) Makes him grow too fast, yes!
