Time of Reading 5:30 to 6:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [494].
2. Now, as we find, the conditions that disturb the body, preventing the better physical functioning of same, are produced by depressions to the better eliminating forces of the body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [494] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY, we find drosses that affect the system through the lack of there being the eliminations through their proper channels. Hence we have in varied portions of the body conditions where the muscular forces at times - apparently the very joints or bones themselves - make for such reactions as of pain and dis-ease to the body. In the organs it produces slowness of their activity, and this is a result of conditions in the general system or, specifically, in subluxations that prevent the normal impulse through those portions that have grown cold, as it were, in their activity.
5. Hence we would find, one whose pulsation is below normal; whose pressure in the circulation in its activity to the hepatics and to the heart, is abnormal; at times being above normal and at others below. Hence repressions through the voluntary and involuntary reactions to the nerve systems that are involved first, primarily. Then the sympathetic and specific centers as indicated being the causes, primarily; yet the effects and the activities for which applications have been made are not the causes.
6. As to the ORGANS of the body, we find:
7. Brain forces are very good.
8. The sensory system becomes involved by the slowed
494-1 Page 2
circulation, by too much of the influences in the blood stream to remove drosses or to allow proper coagulation from energies used by the active forces of the system. Hence all are involved, but not so specifically as some organs of the system.
9. Throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx, show the effect that a slowed circulation produces in the system, especially when cold or congestion is made easy for activity or to find lodgement for activity in such conditions existent.
10. The heart's action is as indicated, but not an organic condition.
11. The digestive system is involved in the conditions, for the liver does not act normally; neither does the spleen in its activity for making the activities through impulses by its action upon the blood cells of the body. Hence at times soreness even across the diaphragm area and in the left side; heaviness down the abdominal area, and the tendency for the accumulation of uremic action in the functionings of muscular tendons in the system. This is from the basic force of the coldness in the hepatic circulation, or a congested area in the liver's functioning or secreting properly for the activities through the system of making the coordinating eliminations through the alimentary canal. Hence the respiratory system or the perspiratory system is non-active in the ability for proper circulation at times. This is the attempt of the body to adjust itself to the poisons that make for these conditions in the body. Hence the gall ducts or gall bladder are choked, but not yet forming except in small crystals or sedimentations there. Hence in the removal of the conditions it will be necessary that these be taken into consideration, that there may be applied for the restoration and removal of the conditions that which would aid in bringing a normal reaction to this body.
12. As to the organs of the pelvis and the activities through the eliminations, we find the colon especially full and not acting properly; though rather an engorgement than prolapsus - rather dilation - in the ascending portion; affecting at times the caecum area and producing those conditions in arms, hands, and especially lower limbs, from the effect of these congestions that exist.
13. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions, as we would find:
14. First we would make such applications that will release the subluxations to become the more active in creating a normal balance. Then, first we would add to the system that which will make for not a straining on the circulation as in
494-1 Page 3
the activity or purgatives or those that would form an excess of activity of lymph circulation through the liver or duodenum, or through the upper intestinal system, but through the taking of such properties as found in Toris Compound. [Toris Compound - manufactured by Globe Chemical Co., Dayton, Ohio - may be obtained from local druggist.] Two quantities. One we would prepare with compound simple syrup. The other we would prepare with spiritus frumenti. The two would then be combined, after they are made separately. See? Both should be made with the solutions warm. Take the whole quantity before we would begin with the real corrections, that what will be alleviated even by the taking of these properties may be a CONTINUED condition. For, a release to the body would be only temporary unless the specific conditions that exist in the cerebrospinal system are corrected - in the 3rd to the 6th dorsal, and the 4th lumbar area. To be sure, in removing the pressures, the secondary cardiac and the circulation through the hypogastric and pneumogastric area in the cervicals to the head must be taken into consideration, but corrections would be given only in every second or third such treatments in those areas indicated.
15. And, with the taking of the compound as given, the dose would be a teaspoonful four times each day.
16. When the adjustments are made, there should also be the relief of those pressures in the areas about the ducts of assimilation; emptying or draining more the gall bladder, reducing by the gentle manipulation the conditions in the ascending colon area.
17. And we will find we will bring to this body near normal reactions.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) What quantity of Toris Compound should be prepared? (A) As given, two quantities. They come in ounce sizes.
20. (Q) Please itemize treatment for scalp and shampoo. (A) The better treatment for the scalp would be the violet ray, using the comb applicator that will stimulate the scalp itself. But unless these corrections are made, the circulation to the scalp will not be proper, see? As to the character of shampoo, any good cleanser that is the less acid, or that is more alkalin in its reaction; and we will find this will make for a healthy condition of scalp and better for the hair.
21. (Q) Will treatment as outlined take care of sediment or crystals in gall bladder? (A) These are the activities of that which we have
494-1 Page 4
outlined: The Toris Compound is to dissolve in the system the tendencies of accumulations by the action of the system throughout the DIGESTIVE area, and will make for an easing in this particular condition existent, see? Then with the manipulations and adjustments for the retaining of same, we will find a healthy condition in the reaction. Hence taking care of the conditions there. Naturally, there must be those precautions in the diets as these applications are made; both the properties that would prepare the system and the adjustments that would follow, with the manipulations. And the diets should consist of less starch and less fats, though the rest we would keep near the same.
22. (Q) What treatment would you advise for the feet? (A) With the correction of the conditions existent in the lumbar area, that have been disturbing locomotion, we will find much of this trouble will be alleviated. For specific conditions in the burses of the feet themselves, where there has been the tendency of the heaviness, with the bearing down conditions that naturally exist from the distension in the area indicated, we would use occasionally a compound rub, only applying sufficient that may be absorbed by the body. Prepare it in this manner: To 4 ounces of rub alcohol, add: Russian White Oil....................1 ounce, Tincture of Benzoin..................1 ounce, Witchhazel.........................1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras....................40 minims. Before the application, shake the solution well together - for it will separate into three quantities, but will unite when shaken together. Shake well together before a small quantity would be poured into a saucer or open container and massaged into the heels, into the instep and toes or the ball of the foot.
23. (Q) Can anything be done to improve hearing? (A) Remove these pressures. These are secondary indications, as indicated. If they are allowed to remain too long, of course, there will become the adherents that naturally arise from poor circulation through all portions of the system, and specifically - as indicated - in the sensory activities, that radiate from the first dorsals to
494-1 Page 5
the base of the brain.
24. (Q) Can anything be done for my varicose veins? (A) We would remove the pressure in the lumbar area, and it will care for the better part of these conditions.
25. (Q) What can be done to overcome exhausting effects of summer heat? (A) Have the liver acting better, and the general conditions in the system, so that the blood pressure and the pressures in the system will respond much easier to climatic conditions. For, there is the inability for the adjusting of self to varied temperatures or to varied conditions that surround the body; more from the torpid activity of the blood supply and specifically of the liver, as indicated, than from other conditions. And all of these have arisen from the first impulses in the cerebrospinal areas, as indicated. Through such subluxations there have been produced such pressures that they hold off the activity of the nerve impulse through the portions of the body, and have gradually made for accumulations. These conditions have been gradually being builded in the system. Then, without their corrections, without the diet's change, there began the reactions in the organs as indicated. Do as we have outlined, and we find we will bring - as indicated - the near normal conditions for this body.
26. (Q) What can be done for the hay fever? (A) Remove this pressure! It hasn't hay fever in the present! But these are impulses. Hay fever arises from three specific causes. The supersensitiveness to certain pollens or certain activities that occur in the atmospheric pressure at certain periods of the year or season. Then from specific conditions that arise from pressures in those areas that affect the bronchi and larynx, specifically. And those specific conditions that exist in the cerebrospinal area, where there are such pressures that prevent a normal flow of blood. Two of these are apparent in this particular condition. The removal of these pressures will make for a much nearer normal reaction. Do these, as we have outlined, for we must not only reduce the pressures in system but re-vitalize, revivify, the activities of the organs that cleanse the system.
