1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, [499].
2. In entering the present experience we find - that which will be of interest to many that are seeking an understanding of such - that this entity, among many, comes at a period (and from the astrological environ) that will have a great influence upon the thought and the activity of many in this earth, in its sojourn.
3. As to the astrological aspects, then, we find these rather in this entity's experience, as most others, the influence from sojourns of the soul entity in that environ influencing the entity in the present experience. And in this particular entity, during those periods when Venus with other astrological sojourns has been in conjunction with other planetary influences, the entity in self has done - in its activity and relationships to others - unusual things, even for self.
4. In this experience these influences are brought innately in the activities of the entity, and as to what the physical and mental relations of the body do regarding those impulses received by such an influence make for the development or retardment of the soul towards its goal - that it has either innately or consciously set as its ideal in the scheme or the activity of things, places, conditions, relations, or others as in respect to its own self.
5. Then, these are made as urges:
6. One that is affable; one that makes friends in those relations that are contracted toward the activities of the entity.
499-2 Page 2
7. One that often is compelled to in a manner, while not in the manner of being repulsed by the relationships - but for conscience's sake, or for rather "the right things to do", makes for activities towards peoples, rather than that it innately feels SHOULD be the activity towards conditions or peoples or relations.
8. Hence often are those activities called by the associates or friends of the entity as unusual, or different, or that the entity lives its own life - or doesn't care for the laudation or praise from others, provided the entity feels, knows or thinks within self that self is correct. Yet sentiment and the real activities of love's influence are dominant factors in the entity's inner self.
9. The influences from Mercury show the high mental abilities; with the Aquarian influence in its relationships to the Jupiterian making for abilities in certain given lines of activity. And these, as we find, will change, do change, as developments are applied in the experience of the entity in its relation to the active influences in the present sojourn. For, as in the present, certain types of art and its relationships to activities in individuals' lives may make for an influence in the present activities. And there will come those periods when the activities in relation to art, that has to do with a great deal more of that as from stained glass or those that make for activities in the prism reactions to influences as related to things and to people, will be of a greater interest; as also music of a certain character or nature, or nature studies will become the more active in the experience of the entity as changes come.
10. This, as we find, will be when Jupiter is in conjunction or is square with Venus in relationships to earth's activities from those, or through those, that have sojourned in that environ; making for, then, one well balanced in the activities of life as related to material things, and all holding for the entity in their respective positions the necessity of their thought and their relations to the principles in the material experiences of the entity.
11. As to the appearances and their relationships to the more material activities in the entity's present experience, while many have been the activities of the entity in the earth, these - as we find - are those that make for the greater influence in the material, or material-mental, relations in the present:
12. Before this we find the entity during the early portion of the settling of the land of which the entity is a native in the present, during those periods when there was the
499-2 Page 3
establishing of the relationships between the early settlers and the natives.
13. The entity, in the name Beck, then gave much of self's activities in the establishing of the tenets of activities of individuals in that sojourn towards the peoples that were being affected by the activity of those sojourning there.
14. Through those experiences the entity gained and lost. Gained in the unselfish activity in relationships to others; passing in the physical through many material hardships, yet in the spiritual gaining much as to the real meanings of the tenets that were proclaimed by those in associations with the entity during those sojourns. Losing only in that there were those in whom the entity had put confidence, in and among her own peoples and relations, that brought disaster to many; and the entity from that experience in the present has ever been wary of making friendships until there was the answer from within of that something that made for a sincerity that to the self, at least, could be unquestioned. Making also for abilities in the entity to make, in any walk of life, those associations or relations that would bring an understanding to the entity, or to self, of the impelling influence in the individuals' activity; as to whether it is from necessity, emotion, or conviction.
15. Hence those ordinarily termed as influences that may make for the activities of others as to their relationships to conditions, things, peoples or the like, are to the entity easily read, when there is the attempt to analyze peoples' emotions or activities.
16. Also from that sojourn comes those influences that make for the interest at times in people, and at others in things and conditions.
17. Before this we find the entity in the Roman land, during those experiences when there were great turmoils in the land from the new tenets that were being proclaimed by the returning soldiery, as well as those that were being brought as prisoners, that turned the ideas of men in the varying directions of those thoughts and tenets that had been proclaimed from those activities in the new land - as it were - of the Roman empire.
18. The entity then was in the household of those in power, being in the household of one Pargarthas - an aide to the emperor Augustus Caesar at that time.
19. The entity did NOT embrace the teachings of the peoples, yet was sincerely averse to the persecutions that were brought on those that held to the tenets of those in the period.
20. Hence the station in the social activities of the entity
499-2 Page 4
was often questioned, and the relationships with many that had been the closest were broken. Yet the entity held self rather in the thought of those that acted according to the dictates of their own conscience as related to things in the forcing of issues in peoples' experience.
21. The SOUL developed, the BODY suffered, during or through this sojourn. Hence often in the inner self in the present experience may the entity find those periods when there is much confusion in and about the entity as from the activities of others in relation to that as others deem necessary in their mental and soul development; yet to the entity these must become as the experiences of the soul or the inner self, for the answering of the questions as to what the SELF should do ABOUT such relations or activities.
22. Before this we find the entity in that land now known as the Grecian, during those periods when there were the sojournings of many to the Arabian land, where there were the activities of a teacher that had brought help, hope and understanding to many, though those tenets were of such a nature as to make for the experiences of those that adhered to same to be reborn, or to be changed in such ways and manners as to make their mode of life or activity in life an entirely different thing.
23. The entity journeyed then to the hill lands, and through the teachings, through the application of those tenets as propounded there, gained much in the experience. Gaining in the mental and soul development through the sojourn, as Ulda.
24. From the experience the entity finds in the present that there are innate within self tenets that (as to self's own understanding) have not as yet wholly been reached; nor has there other than that as is shown in brotherly love, that that surpasses same in making manifest spiritual truths in the hearts and souls of men. For, to so live, to so manifest that which is deepest within self for the aiding and understanding of thine neighbor, of thine brother, is to the entity the highest of the activities in the endeavors of others. But to live or to act the lie is to the entity the most degrading and the most loathsome thing that may come to the mental experience of the entity.
25. Hence much in self will respond to those experiences in that sojourn; much in art, much that is to be developed in the relationships of making in manifested form that which moves the activities of the emotions in individuals, arises from the experiences and sojourns in that strange land - to the entity's experience in same.
26. Before this we find the entity in that land now known as
499-2 Page 5
the Egyptian, during those periods when there were the sojournings of those from the Atlantean land.
27. The entity then was among those, and with those peoples, and the companions of those that came from Atlantis that aided in the establishing of those tenets into such tracks, or routes, or manners, as to enable them to be dispersed among those of other lands.
28. The entity was among those that aided in the activities as related to establishing the field of activity in relation to the bodily suffering, as to medicine, as to learning, as to hospitalization. In these did the entity lend itself in the sojourn in that land. Losing in those conditions that arose when there was the necessity for the leaving of the Atlantean. Gaining in the latter portion when those activities brought to the entity in its experience real aid, help and understanding, and the same to others through the applications of those things that had been gathered into the inner self. The name then was Apt-Uldan.
29. From that experience we find in the present sojourn much that harkens to abilities in the entity to meet and know the needs of those whom the entity contacts, or those whom the entity should contact for their own development.
30. Hence, the abilities in the present and that to which it may attain, and how, may be added also in these:
31. One having an analytical mind. One that may mete for individual activity much that may be helpful; for much may be given by the entity in its associations and relations among individuals.
32. And in those fields that are innately and manifestedly in the experience in the present, of the art, of the music, and especially that which may come in those that may make for the light through such activities to others, the entity may gain the knowledge of self - and in gaining the knowledge of self make applicable in the experience its relationships to others, thus bringing the greater development in this experience.
33. Ready for questions.
34. (Q) Why do I react so strongly and am so disturbed by anything which is artificial, whether concrete or otherwise? (A) As described, this is from the experiences in the earth where the falsifying - or the activities with those in the individual's experience - brought innately the dread of finding that it thinks the most of with feet of clay. May the entity then in its own development find, and know through those things that have been given here, that in the study and in the application of same in the present
499-2 Page 6
experience may the entity come to know self better and in whom and in what it may believe. Seek; for only the seeker may find. Do not lose confidence in self. Know in what thou hast believed, and if it does not answer to that thou hast set as thine ideal - know it will turn to but clay, and thus only reach the satisfying of cravings. But let thine heart, thine mind, thine soul, be joyous in that thou hast gained in thine experience, that to express love in thine activities to thy neighbor is the greater service that a soul may give in this mundane sphere.
