1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [504]. Now, as we find, the abnormal conditions that exist are produced most from poor eliminations, or from toxic forces or conditions that arise FROM poor eliminations. While there are at times sufficient eliminations through alimentary canal, there are tendencies in the condition existent in system where feces form clogs, as it were. Especially does this exist in the ascending, also to some extent in the transverse, colon; and this has made or formed a prolapsus which causes the system to absorb much of the poisons that SHOULD be eliminated in a regular manner.
2. With this tendency, there has arisen those conditions wherein the lymph circulation - in attempting to meet the needs of conditions; that is, eliminate the poisons - produces in the nervous system those disorders, which makes for a condition in the blood supply, making it heavy, the blood pressure above normal, the heart's action rather of a palpitation nature or a low pulsation - and at other times a high pulsation, with palpitating heart; headaches, nausea, are also a result of these conditions, as is at times the heaviness in the extremities, swelling feet at night, fullness in the veins about the throat and head, redness at times in the eyes, aching in the fingers and arms, pains especially through the right side of the body just below the liver area. These, as we find, are results of the poisons produced by poor elimination.
3. The liver, to be sure, becomes very much involved, as WELL as the kidneys become more and more involved. Sedimentary conditions, either in the kidneys or in the gall ducts, MUST be results.
4. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions as we would find, we would be mindful first that there were those eliminations set up by those forces as may be had from high colonic irrigations. These we would take once each week until four are taken, then take four more - one each month - see, that's five months - and during this same period when

these are taken, have those baths that set up a normal circulation; that is, either in hot baths of Epsom salts or of the castor oil packs over liver area for thirty to fifty minutes, see? that is, when these sweats are taken - and these would be taken following the colonic irrigation; then a thorough massage, using a SALT rub followed by a rub with an equal mixture of Russian White Oil and witchhazel, and a quarter quantity - that is, a fourth as much - of sassafras oil; CLEANSING the system following same with rub alcohol. These we would take with the Reilly system, see? or to Reilly's we would go for these.
5. In the matter of diet, these we would follow rather strictly - especially during this five months period:
6. Mornings: Either a citrus fruit diet (which may be altered from time to time) or the stewed fruits, but DO NOT COMBINE the two - see?
7. Noon: Broths, either of grain or vegetable - these may be altered to suit the body; following same with a salad ALL of GREEN vegetables, altering the dressings for such with the oils or the mayonnaise.
8. Evenings: Cooked vegetables. Where potatoes are taken (and they may be, in small quantities), be sure the jackets are eaten as well as the pulp itself. If meats are taken, NONE that are fried - but lamb, chicken or fish may be taken, but not too much of the fats of same, in moderation. All vegetables, especially those of the leafy kind - or those of the bulbular nature, but WELL cooked!
9. We will find, by the end of the period, that the body will be NEAR normal. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) May body have coffee? (A) After the first month the body may take coffee. We would take preferably those of the cereal drinks - Ovaltine, rye, or of such nature.
11. (Q) What is condition of the blood? (A) As may be expected from toxic forces, heavy - and an EXCESS of poisons in same; as does the urine show sedimentary effects from high blood pressure.
12. That is all the questions.
