Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [504]; this we have had before. There are a great many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. And all of these, physical and mental, have been for the improvement of the better physical functioning; and thus giving the opportunity for the outlook upon the experiences in life as to being more worth while.
2. In the present physical conditions, very little change, as we would find, would we make from those things that have been suggested when these are necessary in the general physical reactions of the body.
3. Where disorders have existed in a physical functioning body, like habits in the mental attributes of a body, weaknesses naturally occur; and when there are those inclinations for any return of those disorders that disturb the body we would resort to or use those suggested for those corrections; for these, as the body has experienced, have brought the reactions that were necessary for better conditions.
4. In the circulatory system to the throat and head, that at times makes for a filling in the bronchi and lungs, and the nasal cavities make for distress, we would use a deep vibration as from the electrically driven vibrator over the upper dorsal and the whole of the cervical area; for this would make for better reactions in the system, and thus prevent these tendencies for accumulations that make for distresses at times for the body.
5. As to the general functioning in the organs, in the blood supply, in the nerve forces, these are all in the present in an ORDER wherein they function for themselves in coordination with the rest of the system.
6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) What treatment or diet shall I follow for my intestinal sluggishness? (A) The vibrations that have been indicated, where there are the tendencies for the circulation to make for a filling up in the upper portion of the system, are the reaction from the upper dorsal area, that make in the esophagus and in the cardiac portion of the stomach for a fullness; and with this same vibration there may be had the tendencies for better coordination in the activities of the gastric forces of the stomach and digestive area. As to the matter of diet, this would be very well as an outline - or to consider it from that in the present, be mindful that there is less of the white breads and more of the iodine content in the vegetable characters that are taken into the system. These will make for the tendency to increase the amount of lymph circulation. Just as has been indicated, when the increased lymph circulation is to the upper portion, there is less lymph circulation to the intestinal and digestive system. With the inclinations as created by that taken in the food values in their changes, making for the proteins and sufficient of the hydrochlorics (these should not be in excess; that is, in sugar content, but sufficient so that the gastric forces, with this stimulation as may be had in the upper dorsal area, covering - of course - the upper secondary cardiac plexus, or the 3rd and 4th dorsal, even to the 5th and 6th dorsal, then to the upper portion of the body). And if there occurs the tendency for sluggishness in the colon, use the vibrator - beginning in the sacrum area, extending over the colon as it rises, transverses and descends. These will make for the better reactions in same.
8. (Q) Is there any local or internal operation necessary in my body? (A) No.
9. (Q) How can I induce sound sleep? (A) By inducing a more perfect assimilation in the system, we will find that the natural reaction will be for the better sleep. For, when there are those tendencies for creating for irritation to the activities of the hypogastrics as related to the pneumogastrics to the head and throat, these produce - as it were - those tendencies for activity to be through the brain rather than through normal channels.
10. (Q) How much rest should the body take? (A) At least eight hours each evening of sleep, and at least two to three hours during each waking day.

11. (Q) Should Iodized salt be used exclusively in the diet? (A) Iodized or the vegetable salt would be the better to use. As the necessary compounds in the system are for more iodine, use iodized salt in the cooking and the vegetable salts for the seasoning on table - this would be the better.
12. (Q) Can coffee, meats, eggs or starches be taken? (A) Coffee in moderation. Meats, just so they are not pork of any kind - save crisp breakfast bacon may be taken occasionally, if very crisp. Beef seldom. Fowl, fish or lamb may be very good. Any of the extremities, or liver, pigs' feet, souse, any of these are very good. Fowl and fish are the better. Only starches in moderation. Not too much of rice; never any white bread; never any of the meals should have two quantities of vegetables growing under the ground to one growing above; rather should it be the other way. There should be two vegetables at each meal grown above the ground to one tuberous.
13. (Q) What causes the tingling in the lower extremities? (A) The transverse colon being too full, pressing on the nerves of the locomotaries; these, as is seen, when we change the circulation as indicated, see - in the upward portion of the body to the activities through the digestive area - will improve these conditions. These are secondary, not primary causes.
14. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Keep the mental activities in always constructive influences and activities, and keep the mind, the body, sweet; in that it is ever willing and ready to aid in those things that may bring hope or comfort to those in less profitable circumstances than self, physically or mentally.
