1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [505]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions of the physical that may be aided and assisted to a better functioning. While conditions are much the natural outcome of the body's habits, environs and mental state, these - as we find - may all be materially aided in the application of those things that may be given, either as mechanical appliances or medicinal properties, or external applications, will the mental attitude of the body be in keeping concerning itself, its desires, and the conditions as expected; for, truly, he that expects little will not be disappointed.
2. In the application of the conditions, or for the conditions, these will have much to do with that as may be wrought in the physical functioning of the body.
3. Those conditions, we find, as have to do with the eliminations of the body have caused the greater portion of the disorders and distresses, as is signified by how very little of the peristaltic movement is exercised in a normal manner through the alimentary canal.
4. While those cleansings of the colon are well, and should be kept, we will find - will there be [if there will be] given in the system all of the olive oil that the system will absorb, this will materially aid this condition - and were there enemas given with an oil base occasionally, this would be most helpful in relieving the pressure, in relieving the irritation produced in the kidneys and bladder at times from just the plain enema, or medicated - as it is at times.
5. In the conditions as we find that hinder in the heart's action, in the characterization of the pulse, and especially of the circulation to the upper portion of body - or head, throat, nasal cavities, eyes, where irritations are seen - while these conditions in part (as in eye) are the natural outgrowth of declining years, when there has been the characterization of such elements in the system - as of too much of a potash, silicon, or such - these may be materially

aided will [if] the proper drainages [will be] set up in the system, by the use of manipulative measures that are followed with a low form of electrical vibration that will aid in resuscitating, not enlivening to such a degree as to over stimulate, but as to resuscitation of a natural impulse or reflex from their normal functioning. This, as we find, would relieve also the irritation as is seen in throat and in tonsil area, especially. Here we may find that a gargle of an antiseptic nature will be most helpful; preferably that of a carbolic base, but necessarily of a very MILD nature.
6. In the reflexes, the stimulation given osteopathically in the whole of the cerebrospinal system will materially aid the tension in system, allowing the body to relax very thoroughly.
7. There will be found also a natural benefit to the body, as for rest and coordination with the taking of properties in the system, through the Radio-Active Appliance. This would be most beneficial, as would also the Radium Appliance - in the Double X pad, this worn especially across the diaphragm region, so that the stimuli from the radiation will be to those portions of the system as will aid in the natural functioning of digestive system.
8. An application occasionally of equal parts of olive oil and tincture of myrrh will aid in those aches felt in the lumbar, and in the plexus above the diaphragm - or the brachials. These we would give not more than once each week. HEAT the oil and add the myrrh, only making sufficient at one time for one treatment - a tablespoonful of each. These should be well massaged in the centers, especially from the 9th dorsal to the lower cervicals and in the lumbar region.
9. In the matter of diet - these, as we find, will be more of the well balanced that carry more of the irons in their reaction - as will be found in those of all the vegetable forces, as of beans, lentils, spinach, cabbage (not cooked), carrots (raw). Also it will be found that little of the meats should be taken. Those of the wheat or oaten, preferably in the WHOLE grain rolled - not soured before rolled, but rolled - and made in a gruel. THESE would be well for the body, but should be WELL cooked; should be cooked at least three to four hours - in double boilers, PREFERABLY NOT aluminum.
10. In the matter of the water as is taken, it would be well that at least three times each day a small pinch of the elm be added to the water. Do not add same until ready to drink. Do not continue same if it produces belching, which it will not if the OILS are taken.

11. In the taking of the olive oil, small quantities taken often - half a teaspoonful every two or three hours for several days. Then discontinue, and then begin over again. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) What should be done to prevent nearsightedness? (A) Give the treatments as we have outlined!
13. (Q) What should be done about gall bladder? (A) Do as we have outlined!
14. (Q) Could anything be done for a bad memory? (A) Remove the pressures from the physical and the mental body will respond better! We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Research Department " " Cayce Hospital
