Time of Reading ... Street, 3:45 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [506].
2. Now, as we find, there are very definite conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of this body; and these have to do with the eliminations in the body. While there are, as it will be seen, other conditions, these are rather from effects than from causes.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [506], ... Street - yes, ten: [10th floor]
4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find indications of a disturbed metabolism, and these arise from the excess of poisons in the system produced, as we shall see, by the effects that are brought through the inactivity of the eliminations of the system.
5. As to the activity in the NERVE FORCES of the body, here we find both contributory and direct causes also; for in the beginning there were those subluxations that aided in producing the slowness of activity through the ascending and transverse colon. The subluxations existent in the 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal area, then, produced rather the slowness of circulation. Hence we have an engorgement and almost a prolapsus in the ascending and a portion of the transverse colon area. The nerve reflexes from this in the present produce those reactions where at times the body becomes suddenly sleepy, or perfectly relaxed as to feelings, and at other times there is the tendency for insomnia when there should be the periods of relaxation. There is the tendency for constipation, yet these conditions in their activity do not relieve the pressures. They make also for that reflex condition in the heart's activity, making for those reactions in the blood supply as indicated.
6. In the functioning of the ORGANS THEMSELVES as related to these disturbances, as we find producing the disorders for
506-1 Page 2
this system, we find brain forces are very good.
7. The reactions in the sensory organism are natural from the slowed circulation - which at times carries in same the influences towards inflammation to the muco-membranes of throat, nasal and chest areas; yet these are only - as indicated - indications, and not causes, nor do the conditions arise there.
8. In the heart's activity itself we find a tendency for the slowed circulation and the high pressure, as to produce those conditions wherein there is rather an engorgement, and must eventually make for hardening of the arterial activity unless relief is brought to those conditions, or the conditions relieved in such a way and manner as to take away the strain and the slowing tendencies that the nerve supply makes for this portion of the system through a reflex action to the secondary cardiac - from the cardiac plexus to the lower portion in the lower portion in the lumbar and the reactions from solar plexus area in the 9th dorsal center; for only the lower portions of the system are active in the present.
9. As to the activities of the digestive area, the disturbance causes slow digestion at times, or the return of foods not digesting, or the foods not digesting at all makes for the form of belching, the form of activity that would be called dyspepsia; or certain foods taken at one time will not respond well with the body at others, apparently not acting at all. This from a slowing, or the coldness in the lower hepatic circulation, and also in the spleen, kidneys and liver. This makes for a coldness as may be found in those portions which are just below the lacteal ducts area in the right side of the body.
10. These slow the activities of the kidneys, and make for tendencies at times for sediments in the urine and cause an irritation in the bladder; but are only reflex, as we find.
11. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions for this body, we would take at least for the two weeks three high enemas, but these should be very slowly given - or colonics would be preferable, and with same there should be used the antiseptics that will prevent the irritating of the walls of the colon itself.
12. We would also be very mindful that with each irrigation there is left something of an alkalin reaction in the form of the oils that carry some activity that becomes easily assimilated with the system itself. These then may be gradually reduced to one a month, until the whole of the condition is relieved.
13. During the same period there should be those corrections
506-1 Page 3
in the lower dorsal area, as has been indicated, where segmentations show for subluxations that make for impingements to the nerve impulses to these portions of the system.
14. Be mindful that at all periods there are taken through the diet the activities in food values that have a greater amount of the alkaline than of acid reaction. Hence there should be little of the starches, and not too great amount of sugars taken for the system. Little or no stimuli of the alcoholic nature, though at times the food values as in yeast would be well to be taken. However, these will of necessity be rather far apart, and after six or eight colonics have been administered.
15. Do these, through those ways and manners as indicated; the subluxations being removed through the osteopathic adjustments and manipulation, making for the coordination between the various centers as indicated that are in sympathy with the activities in the portions where the lesions have been produced, and we will bring for this body the very near to normal reaction.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Will the treatment suggested relieve the itching in the ears which occurs at times? (A) This is naturally a reflex condition and, as has been indicated, will relieve the slowness of the circulation to those portions of the system and allow the proper circulation and proper eliminations to be carried on in the system. So, the manipulations to these portions of head would help materially to aid in coordinating the circulation in all portions, and thus relieve the condition, allowing the flow of the equal balance in the auditory forces to become near normal. Do these, as we have given, and we will bring the better conditions to this body.
18. We are through for the present.
