This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest W. Zentgraf, 400 St. Paul''s Ave., Stapleton, S.I., N.Y., this 5th day of February, 1934, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [509], new Active Member of the Ass''n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the American Society for Psychic Research, EC''s lecture 1/15/34 at Hyslop House, and Mr. [333].

R E A D I N G

Born September 24, 1868, in Santa Rosa or Petaluma, California. Time of Reading 11:20 to 12:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes. Petaluma. [509]. We have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, [509].

2. In entering the present experience from the astrological aspects, we find these in the present experience would rather be confusing were they accepted from that commonly given from the astrological aspect only. Yet these with the sojourns in the earth have made and do make for influences in the experience that have been had, or that may be experienced in the present sojourn.

3. Those from the astrological sojourns would be that interim from the earth's appearance to the next earthly experience. These, as we find, with this particular entity, are so distinctly written that these might well be given beginning from the first appearance and reaching in that which has ordinarily been given in such information. For, as we find, those in Jupiter, Venus and Uranus make for mental influences in the experience of the entity in the present sojourn in such ways and manners that these may be viewed by those who would or do contact the entity in its activity with what the soul and mental forces of same have gained in its experience.

4. One, through those experiences in Venus, making for the abilities to draw or contact individuals in any and every walk of life in the way and manner as to be helpful to those individuals. Hence manifesting that attribute of love, from such a sojourn, in its highest sense as understood in the

earth - or with material things. Yet making self selfless in such an association.

5. The Jupiterian influence gives rather the greater expanse of vision in the mental sense, making for abilities to gather groups or to influence groups - and individual activity AMONG groups. There's a vast deal of difference, if it's analyzed properly!

6. The associations in the Uranian influence make for the extremes in the present sojourn; the interest in things mental, things of the soul, things of the occult forces in the broader sense - in the speech of the present day; spiritually for spirituality's sake, rather than for any axe to grind in any relationships to groups, individuals or associations. Hence, as may be seen, those experiences in the entity's activities when, as it were, the entity stood alone as to its thought, as to its relationship to the mental activities or associations of others. Again there would be rather the overflowing into the entity's experience of sympathy, love, appreciations, to such an extent as to often make a doubt of self as to whether those influences that had prompted such activity were from the very things that had been presented by the body, or the activities of self, or were they activities that were prompted from outside influences of others.

7. As to the sojourns in the earth and the activities in same, preferably in this experience we would begin rather with the first; for the soul's activity in the earth has been in those periods when there were such changes in the relationships of individuals as to their relationships to groups and to others in such ways and manners as to bring the experiences in the present that may be said to be covered by all thought, all activity, all of those things that have been pertaining to man's attempt to make manifest in the earth the relationships between creative influences and man in his estate.

8. Since these have been given before in such an outline as to show back and back - and back, we give them now - as we turn to the front and go backward:

9. Before this we find the entity in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were those sojournings of many peoples in this present land, and when there were the questionings as to the experiences that were being had by many in the entity's parish; for he - or the entity, Allen then - was a minister in that land now known as Salem - or the Providence Town lands, for this, as is seen, is a parish that was covered then by Allen, both in Salem and in Providence Town - that is a portion of Salem in

the present; and there may be found as yet the monuments or the little slab here, as we find, in the outer portion of Salem, in what is called Massachusetts, of Allen, the minister to this church.

10. The entity in the experience suffered through the persecutions that were brought on the physical body, yet in its attempt to through the activities of the associations clarify the conditions for the peoples and for those that were disturbed by the visions that were had, and those that were persecuted in the land that they had come to as a free land that they might worship their God according to the dictates of their own conscience, brought such turmoil to the entity during that sojourn. Yet the entity WITHIN itself gained throughout the experience. Though banished, yet loved by all those whom the entity served in body and in mind during that sojourn, bringing to self rather in the latter days the commendation of all that had known of the persecutions that had been brought on the body during that sojourn.

11. In the present experience from that sojourn may be seen the innate feelings or desires to know the creative influences by that they create or cause the individuals to do in their daily associations with their fellow man. And to this entity, this is the test of the fidelity of the activities of a soul - even in the present: That which such creative influences, tenets or activities cause the soul to act in its relation to its fellow beings.

12. Before this we find (in those that influence in the present) the entity was during those periods when there were the turmoils in that land now known as the Roman, during the periods when individuals were used as pawns to bring to the activities and light of others the physical sufferings for the truths that were implanted in those individuals that had accepted the tenets of the lessons that had been brought and were being brought to the peoples by not only the soldiery but by those that were acting in the capacity of teachers and ministers to those peoples.

13. The entity came directly under the influence of one Saul of Tarsus, or Paul, through the ministrations of Titus, the beloved friend of Paul, and this made for those activities in the experience of the entity; though young and tender in years, as would be termed in the present, the entity was offered as a sacrifice to the aggrandizement of interests or feelings or activities of others - only sixteen years of age when the entity left that sojourn; yet that implanted in the soul of the entity from that experience will remain and has remained in the activities of the entity in such ways and

measures and manners as to be part and parcel of the soul itself.

14. In material things it has given those influences as of ROTE; that is, when there are the orders in self that activities must be performed in such a way and manner, it becomes the very part and parcel of the activities of the physical body without respect as to results or effects - yet that it is as a duty bound. And has made for experiences in the present sojourn of the entity when the entity is often misunderstood, from those very things. Yet the deeper concept has been in the soul as to the oneness of God, the Father, that was presented by Titus during the experience, and emphasized through those associations with Paul; yet has made for those feelings of dependence upon the influences of that creative force in the heart and soul and fibre of the body-life itself.

15. Before this we find the entity in that land when the Master came as the babe, and the entity was then in the household of Salome - as a sister of Mary, the mother of the Lord.

16. The entity was a babe that viewed the body and played as a child with the Holy Child, and yet taken - as if by the angels themselves - that the body then might know the realms of aid to those that would counsel in the flesh and in the spirit with OUR Lord.

17. Hence in the name then Myra, yet that experience, that viewing in the flesh of that glory made manifest by God among men, that there might be the intercession for man through his waywardness, has given to the entity in the present experience an ideal of tolerance that is seldom found in the hearts and the souls of those in an earthly sojourn.

18. So in the soul is ever the glory of that the entity enjoyed IN the earth and among those that ministered, of the angels of mercy and light, TO that body during its earthly sojourn.

19. Before this we find the entity in that land now called the Arabian or Persian, during those periods when the Grecians came to that city in the hills to know more of the tenets of the teacher at that period.

20. We find the entity then among those that joined in that sojourning. Again the entity then was as the man, and in the name Iuexla, who made many sojourns to that land, and brought many peoples to those counsels, those tenets of the teacher in the desert and hills.

21. The entity then, with the establishing of those associations in the commercial way and manner, became the

healer and the teacher in those places where there were the understandings given between the various dialects or languages, that all might understand the interpretation that was being put upon the relationships by Uhjltd, the teacher in that experience.

22. Hence in the present we find the influences when the entity may oft, to the various groups and individuals whom it may contact, in its relationships in various activities, so interpret or put into words that those who have heard in this or that association may convey the correct meaning. Yet many that were or are in what would be termed the earth's high places, for this very fact, find fault with the entity in its activity. Yet the beauties of those associations, that come so close with God's gifts to man, have brought rather the expediency of speech at such times to the entity's own experience.

23. Before this we find the entity (that influences the entity in the present) in that land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there had been the restoration of the priest and the activities of the teachers and the Atlanteans who began the gatherings of groups for specific service and specific activity.

24. The entity then was among the native peoples that, by contacts of the Atlantean, were raised into position as an aid in the Temple Beautiful; and with the gaining of the tenets of those that taught and served there, the entity began the life in its younger years in this service, and growing in beauty of body in the associations of many brought to self condemnations during that sojourn. Yet in the latter portion of the experience gained rather in the whole of its associations and activities. In the name Ar-Aptul.

25. In that experience those things that brought condemnation in self were rather from being beguiled by the thought of blood relationships with those that had been RELIEVED - when counted from the material standpoint of their position, their power, in and among a group who were giving much of a civilization (may it be used in such terms) to those peoples and those lands. Yet when there was the treachery of the natives that had brought these turmoils in the earlier portion of the land of this king, of the Atlanteans, of the priest that was banished, then the entity came to be among those that were counted as worthy to become the priestess to the sun; and in this glory did the entity carry much enlightenment to many that had gained something of the application or the appreciation of the tenets, the truths, the life, during that experience.

26. Much might be given as to the entity's activities as Ar-Aptul in that sojourn, for few went so low and yet raised so high in the associations during the sojourn. For, the entity in light years grew to be among those reverenced by peoples of ages. Hence RENEWED in life, in body, in mind, in the experience.

27. In the present much of those things that have brought turmoils have arisen from the concepts by individuals where the entity had harkened or listened, yet when there was turned to the within - as was given by the law of One during that sojourn, and as is the experience in the present, God IS within - and the manifestations of His love and His mercy in and among his fellow man may be best known by the acts, the deeds - yea, even the very thoughts of man as in relationships to his fellow man.

28. Before this we find the entity in that land now known as the American, during the periods when the Lemurian or the lands of Mu or Zu were being in their turmoils for destruction.

29. And the entity was among those that - in what is now not far from that land in which the entity in this sojourn first saw the light - (that must in the near future fade again into those joinings with the land of Mu) - established a temple of worship for those that escaped from the turmoils of the shifting of the earth at that particular period.

30. The entity, in the name Oeueou, established near what is now Santa Barbara the temple to the sun and the moon; for the satellite of the moon had not faded then, and there was enjoined as to the entity in the worship as the goddess to the moon and the sun.

31. The entity brought good and evil with this worship, for the necessity of the repopulation of the land brought to those peoples - with that which the entity had established in the soul's relationships of life - dissension, and, at last, dispersement of those peoples to that portion which later, much later in the affairs of the earth, became not only the destructive forces to those that journeyed from the land of promise but those that journeyed from the Atlantean land and became those that met with the peoples, centuries later, in the central portion of what is now United States.

32. In the present from that sojourn may be seen something of the INNATE feelings of the necessity of a moral and mental and a spiritual life that may be kept separate, or that may be merged as one, but their purpose and their desires to the entity MUST be one.

33. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:

34. As indicated, much has come to the experience of the entity that must in itself remain as that as may be called the touchstone, the lodestone or the guiding star in the entity's heart and soul, the babe in the manger, the weakness in man, yet the superb power that may be his in the manifesting of the love of God in his heart among his fellow man.

35. This, then, as has been from the entity's inception in the earth in this experience, is to make manifest that in the hearts and in the souls of those whom the entity may contact.

36. As to how, using that thou hast in hand day by day press on to the mark of the higher calling as thou hast seen in Him, and in the souls of those that guarded Him even when He was tempted in the earth. So may the life in the present experience bring to those whom the entity, whom the soul may contact, the knowledge that God is in His holy temple within the body of each and every being, and we may worship there in spirit and in truth; that the body indeed may be the temple of the living God, that He may indeed walk among men, that He may indeed talk face to face with His brethren, even as He did as He walked in Galilee. So may the life, so may the experience of life; for Life itself is of God, of mercy, of hope, of patience, of truth, of light itself. Even as the soul has manifested in and among its fellow man, may it bring step by step that understanding that He IS. Let Him have HIS way with thee.

37. Ready for questions.

38. (Q) Just what should this entity's relation be to the Cayce work? (A) In that that the entity sees that it answers to, that has been the cry of the soul from its entrance into this earth, into this experience, may it proclaim to those whom it may meet that it answers here, it answers there. Let the heart and soul and mind keep in attune with the smile of that babe in the manger. In the simplicity of the truths that may be had through such information may it bring to self and to those that the self may contact, the needs of the material activities; yet lose not sight of the spiritual lessons in the lives of all, that there may be brought the knowledge of the SPIRIT of truth into the experiences of men.

39. (Q) Will you explain in more detail just how this entity can in the rest of this life be of greater service to mankind? (A) In doing that the heart and the hands find to do. Be not weary in well-doing; for, as has been given, that thou hast accomplished has been accepted in His sight. Then,

grow not weary. Keep the mind and the heart busy in making known the love of the Christ child in the hearts, in the souls of those that are seeking so much. As the soul of this entity has found, there is in the present the greater seeking for the knowledge that is so simple that in its simplicity man, in his self-righteousness, stumbles over day by day that which if taken and nourished in his heart and soul would bring that peace and harmony and glory that makes known the love of the Christ child in the hearts of men. So, in doing this, in being led by Him day by day, may the greater glory and peace and harmony and understanding come to this soul in this experience.
