Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [513].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the normal reaction through the activity of the organs of the body.
3. While the description of these may appear very serious, they are not so serious as they might be - provided there is something done about same before there are those set-ups of separations through the system, as gradually arise from such conditions as we find are indicated.
4. These as we find have to do with the glandular system, and thus affect the functioning of the organs throughout the body. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [513] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the indications of poor elimination, as well as the effect of insufficient influence in the circulation, or that portion of same, to produce the better or perfect coagulation where used energies are as poisons not eliminated.
6. Thus we find not only the nervous system (that between the superficial and the deeper circulation) affected by same but those tendencies for the eliminations through the respiratory and perspiratory system - or superficial circulation - to at times carry off disturbing forces that should be eliminated through other channels of elimination.
7. This produces a tendency for irritation, nervously as well as on portions of the body, especially where the emunctory circulation comes close to the surfaces.
8. These also (in the circulation) indicate the disturbance in the digestive system, or assimilating system of the digestive system as affected by a poor GLANDULAR reaction. The glandular reaction is an outgrowth of poor distribution of energies and of the elimination.
9. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, and systems as we find, as
513-2 Page 2
indicated, this is a portion of the effect; as well as a part of the disturbance.
10. Hence the inability to rest as well as it should at times, or to feel the recuperation as it should from a normal amount of rest. The irritation as indicated makes for periods when there are nervous reactions, or things that are of a mental or material nature easily disturb the body and make for a nervous reaction, also hot and cold flushes over portions of the body. These nervous conditions and pressures that are produced in this improper eliminating through nominal channels cause irritation to portions of the bodily functions.
11. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, the organs, as we have indicated, are involved through glandular forces as well as the poor elimination.
12. Hence the tendency for accumulations of lymph in pockets over portions of the body; as in the abdomen, as related to the organs of the pelvis, as related to the colon and the general irritation as comes to most of the organs through the disturbances that have been indicated as arising from those activities of the nervous system as well as the glandular system.
13. So we find at times the throat, bronchi, lungs are involved; at others we find the depression for the heart's activity, and a coldness that appears through portions of the system or in the extremities. Again we find the digestive forces of the body are affected by the glandular secretions, as well as the poor digestion and the poor elimination.
14. The liver, the spleen, the pancreas, the kidneys - these all come under the stress of nervous condition as well as the condition of the system from the glandular reactions.
15. AS WE FIND, THEN, IN MINISTERING FOR THOSE DISTURBANCES; THAT WE MAY BRING NEAR TO NORMAL CONDITIONS:
16. First there must be the setting up of eliminations through the alimentary canal in such a way and manner as not to produce irritation to the lower or the upper hepatic circulation, not to overexcite the heart's activity, not to produce too great a strain but to bring coordination to most of the organs in their relationships to proper activity of their bodily functionings.
17. Hence we would begin with those properties internally to change the activity through the alimentary canal, combined in this manner:
18. To a quart of Distilled Water add, IN THE ORDER NAMED: Sarsaparilla Root...................1 ounce,
513-2 Page 3
Wild Cherry Bark....................1 ounce, Snake Root........................1/4 ounce, Yellow Dock Root..................1/4 ounce, Burdock Root......................1/4 ounce, Elder Flower....................1 1/2 ounces, Cinchona Bark......................10 grains. Reduce by slow boiling, but only in an enamel or glass container, to one-half the quantity. Strain and while warm add 1 1/2 ounces Pure Grain Alcohol with 2 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in same.
19. The dose would be a teaspoonful before the morning meal, a teaspoonful before the noon meal, a teaspoonful at retiring - not before the evening meal.
20. Take half of the quantity of the tonic before there are the other applications as we find indicated to make for the normal reactions to the body.
21. Then (after half the quantity has been taken), take Zilatone to produce a better reaction in eliminations - in this way: The first day it is taken, take one tablet half an hour after the morning meal, one tablet half an hour after the noon meal, two tablets half an hour after the evening meal.
22. The next morning before arising (these will act through the alimentary canal, but the next morning before arising), take a tablespoonful of Fleet's Phospho-Soda in half a glass of warm water. Lie upon the right side, with a pillow under the gall duct area; that we may drain the gall duct.
23. Stimulation from the tonic is necessary in the system before the attempt to stimulate the secretions in the manner indicated through the alimentary canal.
24. After the body has then rested two to three days from this (the Zilatone, etc.), begin with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance to keep a normal equilibrium in sleep and rest. Use this just before retiring, for an hour, opposite sides of the body.
25. Have an oil massage (this may be begun almost immediately) each evening with an equal combination of Olive Oil, Tincture of Myrrh, Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Olive Oil to add the Myrrh and the Benzoin; not to boiling, but so they will mix together. Massage this combination especially in the joints of the body; knees, feet, across the hips, up the spine - upward. Massage gently all the body will absorb. Each evening would be preferable, but do this at least three times each week - and keep it up during the periods of taking the other applications.
513-2 Page 4
26. Precautions as to the diet become very necessary, not only with the activities of the properties given as the tonic or as a stimulation but as with the activity that will be produced upon the system to produce for the glandular forces a proper activity. Hence beware of these for the body:
27. Small fruits are not good during or at the time these properties indicated are being taken; that is, such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or any of those; though peaches (when in season) and plums may be taken if these are cooked, not raw.
28. Do not take cereals and citrus fruit juices at the same meal, but drink at least a pint of orange juice every day. If cereal is taken of a morning, take the orange juice of an evening. If orange juice is taken of a morning, have the cereal or the porridge in the evening.
29. Vegetables that grow above the ground are preferable for the body to those that grow under the ground; though at the meal of raw vegetables those above and below the ground may be put together and taken with oil or mayonnaise to make same more palatable.
30. Do these as we find for this body, [513], and we will bring normal conditions and prevent a lot of disturbance - unless something is done.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) What is cause and relief for breaking out on my face, especially nose? (A) As indicated, this is a disturbance between the deep and the superficial circulation; and the properties as first given are to set up the reaction of the organs of the alimentary canal for better eliminations. These are a little bit slow but the cause must be removed if we would get the disturbance PERMANENTLY removed and not just be a palliative. For activities that will prevent this during these times, use a Balsam powder - this is preferable to wet solutions, for this body.
33. (Q) Do I have pyorrhea? (A) A natural disturbance between the internal or the deeper and the superficial circulation makes for a disturbance in the whole of the alimentary canal. The salivary glands, the glandular forces through the body are disturbed. It is on the point of same, though would not be called true pyorrhea as we find. The use of Ipsab with the rest of those things as given as internal forces, this used as a massage as well as a rinse
513-2 Page 5
for the mouth, will remove the disturbance.
34. (Q) Do I need dental work? (A) Let the dental work go until the general system is better; then it'll be longer lasting, the teeth will be better and the whole condition. Not immediately, unless some condition arises that isn't indicated immediately.
35. (Q) What is the cause and relief for aching in my back and neck? (A) This is as indicated from the nerve system, and these massages as indicated to be given at least three times a week will remove same - until the general system is built to relieve the disturbance permanently.
36. (Q) The weakness and hurting inside my stomach? (A) This again has been touched upon; and it's why the strong laxatives should not be used until the body is toned. The hurting is from the tendency of accumulations of lymph circulation into pockets along the system attempting to meet the needs owing to the poisons and the poor gland eliminations or activity and the poor eliminations from the alimentary canal.
37. (Q) Please give condition of my throat, nose, etc. (A) This has been given as an effect of the same disturbance between the skin or superficial circulation and the deep circulation. These massages suggested, and the stimulation for the better body reaction, will relieve the disturbance. This is a functional disturbance, not an organic.
38. (Q) Do I get enough rest? (A) The rest doesn't rest the body. This is, as indicated, because of the general nervous condition. Hence if there will be given first internally those properties as suggested, and then the application of the Appliance to begin the body- balance through the vibratory forces, the rest will be entirely different; and then the body may not need such long periods of rest but have better rest on the periods it has.
39. (Q) Please explain my bewilderment at times, or haziness and lack of concentration, and how I can overcome it. (A) This condition is taken into consideration with that as given again, respecting the nerve activities of the body. The impulses that arise from a disturbance between the superficial and the deep circulations of the body, that run along the vegetative or sympathetic nerve system, become hazy; owing to their incoordination. Again we will find not only the massage but the change in the circulatory forces and in the blood supply itself will change these reactions entirely.
513-2 Page 6
40. (Q) Are there any colors in clothing that would be better for me to wear? [See Life Rdg. 513-1 on 2/10/34.] (A) Any of those that are bright, or modes, or purple - these are better vibratory forces for the body. Those colors that are soft - not those that clash, but SOFT colors for the body.
41. (Q) Please give spiritual advice. (A) In the activity of the body and the general purposes and aims, it would be well that many would pattern after the purposes of this body. Hence only that may be given; keep the faith in LIFE - as manifested in the Christ. This, His grace, is sufficient - and has been the stay. Hold fast to that, for THAT is good!
