1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [516], here; as well as those conditions physical and mental that disturb or surround the body. These conditions, the physical forces that we find here, HAVE disturbances that are of a physical nature. There is a lack of elements; also there has been and is the accumulation of those forces and influences throughout the body that make for disturbing factors in such measures that it is necessary for the proper interpretations to be made OF the conditions.
2. As we find, there is the mental body, there is the physical body, there is the spiritual body. These are one, yet they each in their respective spheres with their attributes must - in making the better coordinations of these influences within a body - be considered; as to the necessary influences for the active influence upon these in their respective spheres. That is:
3. With the mental body one builds, to be sure, both physical and spiritual; yet the manifestations of these must be through the material plane.
4. Then, when there are disorders or disturbances by or through those experiences or influences that are of the material, such that there are used those things in the material plane for the correction - or the coordinating of that particular influence in the body, FROM that particular sphere from which the activity may arise, does not alter its mentality or its spirituality or its spiritual influence upon the body as a whole.
5. Hence those things that disturb this body may be changed by and through those material influences or activities upon the body to produce a better and more coordinant influence in the physical body.
6. That elements have been lacking, and that other elements have increased in such measures as to cause the disturbance in the functioning of the organs of the body itself, IS
516-3 Page 2
self-evident in the body.
7. The liver being torpid, there are periods of languidness; or the resultant effects from such conditions manifest themselves in the form of constipation, headaches, swellings as it were - in portions of the body. And the increase in certain influences or forces makes for a constant increase in the avoirdupois, or the physical forces of the body, to not only the inconvenience that it produces but - through the mental attributes - the worriments to the body.
8. Through this increase in the physical forces of the body there are poisons and accumulations in the system that make for pressures that disturb the organs through the sensory forces, as to make for a gradual increasing in those pressures in the head and neck, as to prevent the perfect coordinations either of the vision or the hearing.
9. To be sure, these may be aided through spiritual influences: but it is apparent that to make these in any way efficacious to a physical body it is necessary to use material things and their basic influences that may be spiritualized by the mental attributes.
10. Then we would find these as material attributes for a helpfulness to the body:
11. First we would have the high colonic irrigations to remove the poisons from the colon area. We would have one each week for four weeks. Then we would have one twice a month for two months. And then we would have one a month for the next four months. These should be sufficient to produce for the body the entire eliminations in these directions.
12. We would find it most beneficial - in an osteopathic or chiropractic manner - to make corrections and release the pressures in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area, allowing the flow of the circulation to the head, to the throat, and especially through the hypogastric and pneumogastric and the vagus nerves. With drainages set up in such a manner, not only would the vision be materially aided but the auditory influences would be materially helped also.
13. If these are taken osteopathically, we would take them about three times each week for the first three or four weeks; then once a week.
14. If they are taken chiropractically, WITH a massage, we would find it preferable not to make too much of an adjustment at once; but to have a treatment EVERY day for the first three or four weeks.
15. We would alter the diet considerably; those things that tend to make for the elements in the body are starches and
516-3 Page 3
too great a quantity of proteins, that make for the increase in the weight to the body.
16. So, the foods taken would be in the nature of these:
17. Mornings - citrus fruits, used only with the whole wheat toast and this not buttered; occasionally with egg - or that which is palatable for the body. DO NOT use cereals! These are NOT the best for this particular body, under the existent conditions with the digestive forces and influences of the body.
18. Noons - almost wholly a meal of raw fresh vegetables; such as tomatoes, lettuce, celery, carrots, onions, leeks, spinach, mustard, lentils, and the like. Either an oil dressing or mayonnaise may be used.
19. Evenings - fruit juices would be well first, or alternated at times with vegetable juices. Leafy vegetables that grow ALL above the ground; none of those of the tuberous nature that grow below the ground would be well in this meal. As to meats, only fish or mutton, and occasionally fowl.
20. These, as we find, applied in a consistent manner, will make for the better physical conditions of the body.
21. Those activities about the body will in some respects find fault with this information; but if the body will turn more to the own self-developments through that which is the heritage of each and every entity and soul - it will be found that these will make for the abilities for GREATER developments; and that the associations with those influences that are from without will take on quite a DIFFERENT type and MEANING for the body.
22. Ready for questions.
23. (Q) How best to be helpful in my present situation, or in other words what was I born for specially? (A) Each entity in its sojourn through any particular earthly experience is to put into practice, or to apply that which has been gained. It is as to what any or each soul may do ABOUT that knowledge IT, the entity and soul, has gained respecting the activity of Creative or God influences in that experience. It is not what one knows or experiences, but what one does ABOUT that it knows, which makes for growth or retardment in ANY experience. So, each soul meets that it has builded, as each word, each act has its influence. What self will do ABOUT that it has said or done is the purpose of an experience. For as one applies that it knows, the growth comes.
24. (Q) How to prepare my physical self for spiritual illumination? (A) As indicated, do these things for the physical body. For the physical body in the material world is the TEMPLE of
516-3 Page 4
the soul. The TEMPLE, then, is of the God-portion of every entity, and there the spirit of truth, of helpfulness, of hopefulness, may meet with self, the ego, the I AM, that is of the Creative Forces - THROUGH the MENTAL application of self. This, then, is the manner of preparing the body for its illumination to the greater spiritual development, and the application of same in its physical and material experiences.
25. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (Letters were enclosed to a Hydrotherapist [GD's note: We referred her to Dr. Harold J. Reilly, Ph.T., for the colonics.], and Osteopath or Chiropractor, with directions.)
