1. EC: (In going back over the date - "That wasn't the name given here. See, they've dropped off one. See, there's another name in here.")
2. Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personality of the entity addressing herself as [517].
3. In entering the present experience from the astrological aspects, we find these have had in the experiences of the entity from time to time direct influence in the present; yet these have been rather periods when there was the lack of the expression of the will as related to environs and the activities in the experience of the entity. For, the will is that factor in human experience that may change, or may bring about weal or woe for an entity in its application of itself respecting that it knows to be constructive, or the law of the universality of spirit in its experience.
4. As seen in a period when the environs were such from the astrological aspects, in '94 and '05, when the distresses to the physical forces of the body brought many changes and many different outlooks in the experience of the entity. As we find from the constructive standpoint, sojourns of an entity or soul in the environ of the planetary influence while in the earth's environ, or this solar system of which the earth is a part, has greater bearing upon the INNATE influences than the positions of planets or the astrological aspects of the zodiacal signs under which the entity may pass. As is generally termed, while the entity under Aries makes for one headstrong, head-willed, not always in the present experience has the entity applied in the sojourn that known respecting the laws of the universality of constructive or God force in its experience. Yet these, as
517-1 Page 2
we find, have been and are in the expressions of the entity:
5. From Mercury we find the natural high intellectual activities of the entity, and the abilities in the present for not only retaining but for analysis of those things that pertain to the mental influences or environs of the entity.
6. Jupiter, in its broader aspect of all the attributes of human emotions, has made for the ability of the entity not only as a writer, in the application of itself as respecting sojourn or travel or change, change of environs, but the broad aspect of life in all of its attributes; and it is innate in the experiences and the abilities of the entity to make personal applications of these in the experience to the aid of self in the material and the aid of the mental and physical in others' experiences.
7. Also in Neptune there are brought the watery environs, and the associations with individuals who have had the more effectual activity in the experience of the entity are those who have recently been across large bodies of water, or who in their sojourns and in their relations one to another have had dealings with those who have recently been or who are engaged in activities that have to do with the water. There is also the interest in mystery, mystery stories, as well as those influences in things that are of the psychic nature. And, if the body applies its abilities as related to the visions in Jupiter and in Mercury AND in Neptune, as in relation to that which may be given to others in their understanding or APPLICATION of things pertaining to the mysteries of life - whether this be from the material, the mental or even the spiritual aspect - it will make for those channels through which the entity may give not only that which will be the more helpful but will also, in its application for others, find in self that which will bring to self the satisfaction that comes with the application of the mental influences and abilities in such a way and manner as to make for soul development. For, to the entity, it would require patience in these directions, and - as the teacher of old has given - "In patience possess ye your souls." This does not mean in bearing with individuals that willfully disobey, but rather being strong and steadfast and humble in the sight of higher forces, yet active in that known to be not only duty in the spiritual sense but duty in the mental and material sense. For, duty and patience are akin; for he that grows weary in well-doing, or who falters and faints and gives up, is not worthy of those things that may be his lot, or his niche or his channel in bringing to pass into the material manifestations those things that the higher influences - or even the angels of light - have had
517-1 Page 3
orders to prepare for those that love His ways.
8. As to the appearances, then, and these that have been the greater influences in the application of the entity in the present experience:
9. Before this we find the entity was in that land now known as the vineland, or near Providence Town, where there were those activities of a peoples that had set themselves in a position to where they might worship that they called or designated as their God according to the dictates of their own conscience, when there had been the entering in of those influences that made for the visions for the young and the dreams of the young men and the visions of the old.
10. The entity, in the name Madge McCullough, was what would in common parlance be said to be a busybody during that experience; then neither gaining nor losing until there came into the experience of self, by the associations with those of the household of the pastor in Salem and in Providence Town, a closer association that brought the abilities to aid in clarifying much that had been the undoing of many as to their MATERIAL development and making for fear in the experience of many. And as fear makes for unrighteousness and for error in the experience of many, so did the entity lose or gain in the abilities to bring harmonious influences in the experiences of those during that sojourn.
11. In the present those things that have partaken of activities as related to the secular things in the worship in a church edifice have always been a question in the experience of the entity; and only when truth has not only been expressed but lived by the individual has a tenet meant anything to the entity in the present.
12. Before that we find the entity was in that land known as the French, in the southern portion when there were the periods of distresses from the overrunnings of the land by those both from the Parthenian and the Pyrenees land, when there had been the uprising from the settling of those people in that land from the foreign lands, in the religious wars and in the attempts to correlate church and state in that portion of the land.
13. The entity was among those that were growers of the grapes in the land, yet again rather well-spoken as to activities by the name; in the activities through the material things rather governing, with the abilities to subdue by the speech and by the influence that might be had upon the associates by its own personality. In the greater part these made for developments, yet in periods there was little activity towards soul development but an expansion in the mental vision of the entity that made for a soul
517-1 Page 4
remaining - as might be said - intact, gaining little in stature or in the abilities to express itself in a very vital way or manner in material things. The name then was Ioudel.
14. In the present those things that pertain to lands, where there are specific activities by groups under the various characters of leaders, are of particular interest to the entity. And a study into the things whereunto individuals in the entity's sex make for THEIR appreciation of, or their abilities in, wielding an influence in the political, the social and the economic life of individuals, is of particular interest; as are also those things that pertain to the arts of a specific type, as seen in the older French and Spanish things that deal with household articles and especially of relationships between men and women of that period.
15. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Indian, during the period when there were the enterings of many of those from the Zoroastrian reaction in the upper portion of Persia and Chaldea to the lands in the valley, or the inroads between the mountain dwellers and the lands in the more fertile fields.
16. The entity was among those of the low-lands, still in the sex as in the present, in the name Veidien. Again the entity was rather active in making for a balancing of the associations through the activities of those that came in and attempted to - and did, in the greater part, eventually, through much that was established in order by the entity itself - make for change in the relationships of individuals, and the starting of much of that that later grew into caste activity.
17. Gaining and losing; yet in the present there may be felt that influence from the various effects or orientalism in the affairs and in the experience in the associations in the writing, in the application of things. Yet the occidental and the oriental to the entity may be met in such a field that may be applied through the mental forces of the entity itself.
18. Before that we find the entity was in what is now known as the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were those activities from the gatherings of the peoples through the associations of those that had entered from the Atlantean land in the latter portion of that period when there were disseminations from those things that had been gathered together in law, in medicine, when we term them in the words of the present day, in the teaching and in the ministering, in the building of centers, of households, of
517-1 Page 5
those kingdoms roundabout.
19. The entity then was of those native peoples that were influenced whether by the sojourning of the peoples from Atlantis, the latter portion of same, and became the consort or wife (if we would use a better term) of Alta, one of those rulers that came from the Atlantean land that had such a weight in the distribution of truths to other lands.
20. In the present from that experience, as Induhel, may be had the innate and the expressed activity in particular relationships to those things of certain sounds, and the effect that music, the effect that certain guttural sounds of that we call in English the consonant, with the correlations of the vowels, makes upon the entity - the peculiar sensations in the experience of the entity.
21. As to the abilities of the entity and that to which it may attain, and how:
22. In the present it is first necessary to MEET in self that purpose for which it came into its present surroundings and environs; that it might meet itself in those things that had been accomplished in a material plane and a material environ. For, not only in knowing but in doing does there come forth in the soul development that which makes that soul work towards becoming one with the Creative Forces in a spiritual and material sphere.
23. Then, in applying self in its writings, in its teachings, in its associations, towards making for harmonies in Creative Forces may the entity bring to self, to others, the greater strength, the greater ability for the spreading of those tenets that were the foundations in most of the lands that the entity sojourned in; whether the ENTITY made personal application or not the knowledge of same was present.
24. Hence often do others call the entity or soul deep; a deep thinker, yes - but be ye doers as well as hearers of that gospel of Him who gave, "Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart and thine soul, thine mind, thine body, and thy neighbor as thyself." In the application of these tenets may there ever be fulfilled in man's life all the relationships of man to his neighbor, or to the service he may render his neighbor, according to the acknowledging of God in his life.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Why am I here on this planet? (A) Just given. To meet self and to better become acquainted with self, as to what self has done about that it has known and does know.
27. (Q) Shall I continue my same mode of life?
517-1 Page 6
(A) Study to show thyself approved unto Him thou would worship as thy God, knowing that He is able to keep that thou committeth unto Him against any experience that may be in thine activity; and unless the god thou worshipeth fulfill this, thou has chosen too low; keeping self unspotted from the world.
