Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., R.I. (Body and enquiring mind. You will give suggestions and counsel to assist him in his decisions regarding his life work, and especially the decisions necessary for his activity in the near future. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [520], and those conditions in the mental and in the material expressions that confront the body, as it were, at this time.

2. In giving that which might be helpful to the individual as an entity in the present, it would be well that what has been given respecting the duties, the obligations, the inclinations that arise in the experience of the entity in this present sojourn be correlated with what may be given in the present. For, while there are those experiences, those opportunities for experience coming in the present from the innate urges from sojourns not only in the earth but in the environmentals of the entity itself, these are evidently making for changes in the experience in this present sojourn or the opportunities for same. These are innate or manifesting themselves as has been indicated in what may be termed desires or wishes, or duty or obligation, dependent - of course - upon the term one might apply in such relationships as for self and for others that are to be in the position of being influenced by that which may be a material application of the abilities or the awareness of the efforts of the entity. For, the entity being a Jupiterian, these influences coming both with the Saturn and Jupiter influence from sojourn, not their position, make for the greater changes in the next month and for the next two or three years; also greater opportunities in the associations of this entity, [520], for the development of what may be termed the soul or the entity or individuality in the present experience of the entity.

3. As to what the entity should do, as to how the activity

520-4 Page 2

should be conducted, these must be the choice within self; for these should be weighed well within self; as to whether this, that or the other experience will make for the greater development at this particular time.

4. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Considering my relations with my mother and the conditions of the business in Providence, R.I., would it be advisable for the best interest of all concerned for me to now take over the active control of this business? (A) This is that which is desired on the part of those to whom the entity owes great obligations, and offers opportunities - though these are in opposition to much that has been applied and that which we have indicated as the channel through which greater expression in the inner self might come. But when all conditions are considered, as WE would find, this would be the proper thing or proper expression of self's abilities in the present.

6. (Q) Should the business be liquidated? How should it be handled? (A) As we find, it is not that it should be liquidated in the present. For, with those changes in not only policies but the applied abilities of the entity or body-mind, there is that which may bring a great deal of not only satisfaction but an advancement in the experiences of the entity in its relations in the present.

7. (Q) What disposition should be made of the property owned by my mother? (A) Portions of this, as of some of the real estate assets, might be liquidated in the next three to six months; but some would be better were they not.

8. (Q) In my Life Reading the following was given, "in that field of gathering of data as relating to that which changes the thought of peoples, individuals, groups, or masses." Please tell me what specific type of work would best come under this heading at the present time. (A) There may be seen about the entity in its associations with individuals or groups that which is as of a seeking, as an unrest upon the part of many who are not stable in their higher mental and spiritual selves, who are seeking for that not only by which they may prepare their lives, as they express themselves now, but that they may rely upon in their meditation, in their depressed or in their exalted moments. That which has been and is the motivative influence that arises from the individual or an individual making an ideal that may be gained only in its realm of experience but which may be sought for as expressing itself in the material things in life as it makes for its associations with man. For, as this:

520-4 Page 3

The love of life, or the continuity of love, of life, as expresses itself in a creative force or God, that shows its manifestations in the manner in which such an individual treats his fellow man, is such that makes for the advancement, the stabilizing of individuals. And such data, such expressions, such matter may the entity in ITS seeking and its expression give to many. For as has been seen in those experiences of the entity, the soul, in the earth as it expresses itself in matter or in form under or during varied experiences, there has been that gathering of data that made for the showing or the expressing of the disposition of this or that group as related to other groups in their varied activities or associations. So the entity in the present may make these for the ideal; not idealistic without a practical application. For, as is expressed, the love of God as it expresses itself in the manner of mien of an individual towards his fellow man is only a practical thing. So does the earth and its associated activities advance. So does that called civilization; so that called brotherly love. And, as given of old, it is not as to who will ascend into the heaven to bring him down, or who will go over the sea that we might know His face or name, but "Lo, ye will find Him in thine own heart." In thine own mind and thine own expression to thy fellow man, in doing as has been given; "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them."

9. (Q) How can I prevent the entanglements in the business in Providence from curtailing my activities in the directions mentioned above? (A) It is not by some great deed that the greater accomplishments are made, but a word here, an expression there; and it's line upon line, precept upon precept. These take not from, but as He has promised: Use that opportunity thou hast in hand day by day. As ye use same, as ye give out, the next step, the next opportunity is given. For man may sow, man may speak, MAN may make manifest those laws, those expressions of an All-Wise Creator from the abundance of his heart, but only the Father, God, may give the increase. Doth man attempt to set himself in the position of demanding this or that, it is SELF-exaltation rather than being just a channel through which the glory of the Father in his love for the fellow man may be made manifest. Then, it will NOT - it DOES not - interfere; only in so far as there is builded within the own consciousness that there

520-4 Page 4

are not the opportunities for the study or for the expression that is desired OF SELF. But use rather this: "As my opportunity comes, let me be the channel for the expression of, the glory of, that in my own life and that towards my fellow man."

10. (Q) Will you please give an example or illustration of the kind or type of data referred to, on which I should work? (A) As the observations are made from day to day of this or that that disturbs the associate or the friend, or the foe, whom the entity may contact, there will be seen that - as this is put down in, we might say, black and white - these may be correlated as from one to another, see? Then the experience of self in how that the less and less of self and the more and more of the ideal is held within the experience of such an one, the more and more does the growth or the help or the understanding come. And the entity in its contact may give a word here or there. And trouble not thyself that some may rebuke thee, or some may even find fault; but know within thyself thou art doing what thine heart, thine ideal, thine relationship with thy creative force, thy God, would have thee do. And He, in His own time, brings the result in thine OWN experience and in that of thy brother that thou wouldst aid. Today thou hast seen in thine experience this that has disturbed one as respecting his own physical and material and mental associations. Thou may speak to such an one, and make note of that which has prevented such from accepting or opening self for a greater understanding. And then in the next thou mayest find that in such do ye grow; not as by leaps and bounds, for in the acorn or in the grain of wheat may be enfolded the whole of first the shoot, the stalk, the flower, then the whole that is a growth. So are the words of truth, if they are prompted by or from thine inner self toward thy fellow man; not for self but that the glory of the Father through thee may find its expression and growth in material world. For matter is the expression of spirit MOVING in the material world. The mind is the builder in which there are all of its phases and manifestations. And thou hast set before thee a GREAT undertaking. Be thou faithful to that which has been entrusted unto thee. From whom? From the Creative Forces that find manifestation in thine inner self.
