Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [525], ..., New York City.

2. As we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical functionings of the body. These in some manners are of a general nature, though they arise from effects of specific conditions as well as general debilitations throughout the system.

3. The specific forces that are involved are from conditions that are both pathological and psychological in their nature, that affect the auditory functionings of the body - or rather they have been affected by the general reactions through a sympathetic psychological condition. Yet the pathological effect is a prolapsus in the Eustachian tubes, and a drying of the fluids in the inner ear; that may be aided, but a complete recovery may not be made for a normal response in same in THIS experience.

4. As we find, the most effective manner to bring aid to the body would be through the breaking up of the prolapsus, or the falling of the tubes and the breaking up of the lesions or thickened tissue that exists from this natural position of same, with the application of the electrical vibrations that may aid in stimulating not only the conditions that are adjacent to the portions affected directly but also in stimulating a better circulation through those portions of the sensory organism that branch from the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area, for the stimulation of circulation through these portions of the head.

5. This, then, would preferably be done by one who may perform such an operation of breaking up through the areas along the Eustachian tube those lesions there, by the use of - both indirectly and directly - the application of the ultra-violet ray and the violet ray to the portions about the head and neck, WITH general manipulations to aid in

stimulating the general activity of a better assimilating system, and that will add to the general health of the body. This would be the means that would be more effective in bringing assistance to this body.

6. Ready for questions.

7. To be sure, we would make such application sufficient distance apart that the first of the operative measures in finger surgery would be sufficient that the body recuperate from the shock of the general reaction, yet not allowing sufficient time that the adhesions or the lesions reform in such a manner as to bring greater distresses to the body.

8. The ultra-violet would be applied to the upper dorsal and cervical area, about every third day, for three to four minutes, at least thirty-eight to forty inches from the body - if the quartz light is used, and the ultra-violet from such an instrument for this body would be preferable.

9. The plain violet ray hand machine would be used every other day, over neck and the upper cervical and around the ear and over those portions of the soft tissue in the face where the circulation affects directly the activity of the sympathetic system.

10. These light treatments may be given at the same periods when general manipulations would be given for the general physical conditions of the body.

11. (Q) How often should the general manipulations be given, and for how long? (A) As indicated, every other day or three times a week - at such periods when there would be the application of the violet ray - until the whole system has had the opportunity to respond from the breaking up of the conditions in the ear. The results of these, to be sure, will be slow; for the general physical force must be built up, that there may be a restoration - if possible - in the physical condition of the body. The first period of treatment would be from three to five weeks, then a rest period of three to four weeks, and then a period of five to seven weeks of treatment. If there is to be gained or maintained from these applications, it should be concluded by the end of the second period of the treatments.

12. (Q) Any recommendations for diet? (A) These had best be outlined by the one administering the treatments, or governed by that being attempted to be created by the general treatment - from the conditions in the general system as found by such a manipulator.

13. (Q) Should the general manipulations be of the osteopathic or the massage nature? (A) As the treatments to be administered, or the operative forces, are to be of the osteopathic school, the general treatments of the body should be of the same school.
