Time of Reading ... Street, 3:10 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Philadelphia, Pa. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [531]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, there are changes in the physical forces of this body since last we had same here; yet not all of these indicate bettered conditions. There has been and is the recurrent condition from toxic forces that have affected, that do affect, the VITAL forces of the body.

3. There have been, as indicated, the effects upon the mucous membranes, upon the lymph circulation, from those infectious forces that arise from what is called a catarrhal condition - or the lymph and emunctory reaction that produces a force of infection in the system. It affects the body in much the same way as a rheumatic reaction, or a nervous reaction. For these conditions naturally in their very nature affect the nervous system, and especially in its relationships to muscular reaction; so that by exercise, by even small amount of draft that would be practically unnoticed by the body in its activities, by getting too warm in one way and manner or by cooling off too quickly, there is the reverberating - as it were - to the conditions that are existent. This makes for not only the repressions that produce headaches at times, hurt and burning of the eyes, but through cold or congestion a form of neuralgia that affects the head, the shoulders, and even the torso at times. All of these are but effects, as we find.

4. To be sure, a period of temporary relief might be brought with applications of a nature that would be eliminating, or for the increase of the organs' functioning - as of the lymph circulation through the activities of the kidneys, the alimentary canal, and the forcing of the emptying of the lower portions of the duodenum and the like.

5. But to meet and to make for the eliminations entirely of such conditions from the system, as we find, would be the

531-6 Page 2

manner in which the body may find the greater and better relief. Though requiring a little longer period, to eliminate the cause rather than the effects in the present will make for more permanent reaction in the body.

6. Hence, as we find, little of those things that have been indicated for the body would be retained or kept, save the applications of the low electrical forces or radiation activity in the body itself with the Radio-Active Appliance.

7. This should be kept perfectly cleansed in the anodes, and used each day for a regular period. During such periods when this is taken and the body rests for the mental and physical and the general better activity of the body, it would be well that these be also the periods for the meditation or concentration and dedication of self for its greater abilities in being of the helpful and hopeful manner in all of its relationships to its fellow man - as well as for the awakening of the possibilities in every relationship in which the individual deals with its activities in its experience in life at this time or period. These should be the attitudes.

8. Keep the ice in same, but not allowing same to come above or to make for shortcircuiting. While no effect will be had or held by the body during the taking of these treatments, or no feeling of same, there will be produced not only rest from the irritations that have been active and present in the system, but activities will be builded for that which will be most helpful. These treatments we would retain.

9. We would begin almost immediately with taking the high colonic irrigations. These would be preferably of the soda nature, or a soda solution - the ratio about a heaping tablespoonful to the gallon and a half to two gallons of the warm solution or water. And in the last water we would use the Glyco-Thymoline as an intestinal antiseptic.

10. In this manner we would aid to prevent or keep from causing a great deal of irritation from the infectious forces.

11. We would begin first with taking one, as today or tomorrow. Then gradually, on Monday or Tuesday, take another and go a little higher; not attempting to cleanse the colon all at once, but gradually. For it would be rather straining to attempt all at once. Then in the latter part of the next week we would take another. Then we would wait until the latter part of the next week; and continue in this manner until six or eight such treatments have been given. Give about one a week; or take them a week apart, after the first two or three.

12. Also we would use the corrective or manipulative forces

531-6 Page 3

from the osteopathic adjustments that would make a stimulation to the DRAINAGES of the body, as from the upper dorsal and through the cervical area. Thus we may not only break up the congested areas in this portion of the body but set up drainages through the ganglia that stimulate the impulse of activity for drainages or eliminations from the face, the head, the upper portion of the chest, and through all the upper part of the body for their EMPTYING, as it were, of their drainages - or their used forces, or the drosses from the system - more into the alimentary canal.

13. These, as we find, we would take in the present about twice to three times the first week. Then we would gradually taper off with two the next week, and then one or two the next. Then rest a period and then begin again.

14. Be mindful of the diets, that we keep in a more constructive way and manner.

15. And, as we find, we will bring the better responses and make for the eliminations entirely of the disturbing activities from the system. And the congestions or activities that have been produced in the lymph circulatory forces, in tissue in face, head, and through the neck and digestive area, should be relieved entirely so as to allow the body to replenish itself normally.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Sudden rushes of blood or something about the base of my brain. Are they such, or just nervous pains? (A) Nervous pains and also the rush, as it were. Or it is rather the filling of the IMPULSE to ganglia through a disturbed circulation, that does not find the easy flow. Or it finds rather congestions that, being hard - as it were - to push through, makes for pressures in these particular areas. If those suggestions are followed as indicated, these will soon disappear.

18. (Q) Is typing hurting me? Is this a factor? (A) Only under the nervous strain of the general deteriorating influences. These activities should become rather a pleasure than a strain or an injury in any way or manner.

19. (Q) I seem to get a glare - affecting eyesight, etc. Do I need glasses? (A) If these suggestions are followed as indicated, we will not be in the need of glasses yet. Such effects are from pressures that are hindrances, especially through the lymph circulation, through soft tissue in face, head and neck, by congestion and accumulations of poisons.

20. (Q) Outside of my health condition, I would like to

531-6 Page 4

know if my financial condition will improve - etc.? (A) As we have indicated, with the applications for keeping the intent and purpose in the activities of the body physically and mentally, these would naturally lead to the advancement in contentment, in ability, and naturally in financial surroundings. With the application of the low electrical forces that arise by the association of radial forces in the extremities of the body, if the appliance is correctly grounded in the ice and if the connections are in their proper relationships and cleansed, with the meditative forces that make for concentration, the body will be enabled to fit itself physically and mentally to be of a greater service, to find more and greater opportunities for the expression of that gained through the desire and application of that learned by the body in its relationships to its fellow man and those about the body. Do that, then.

21. (Q) Any other suggestions at this time? (A) Do that.

22. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (10/11/35 GD's note: See enclosed letter to Osteopath with directions for the adjustments and manipulations. You may be able to get in once a week to Reilly's for the colonics, according to letter given with directions this afternoon. It seems from the above that now you are to attach the Radio Appliance to the extremities; that is, one day it would be the first attachment to the right wrist, the other to the left ankle; the next day first to the left wrist, the other to the right ankle - in contact with the pulse. Let us hear how you get along.)
