Time of Reading 10:30 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [533]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are a great many changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. The greater portion of these are for the improvement. While there are still those conditions that produce disturbance through causing a congestion in the colon and a portion of the jejunum, this is rather the AFTER effects and is the lack of the entire elimination of adhesions; tending to produce a strained or colitis condition through the intestinal system. There is a slight touch of same at times when overeating, overstraining or getting too hot and too cold, or overexcitement. This produces, as a reaction, pains through the right side of the abdomen, extending to the caecum and up to the edge of the liver; causing in the intestinal system gas and nausea at times. This comes usually when the body is resting, yet may appear at times while under stress or strain; producing a headache and nausea, and a tendency for weakness throughout the body.

3. These are the general conditions as we find in the present.

4. In making for corrections in the present, then, taking those circumstances and conditions into consideration that surround the body in every manner, we find:

5. First there should be at least six to ten pints of water taken each day. This will tend to make for a dilation and an absorption. Do not have this too cold. No real ice water. Ice cream or sherbet or the like, though, may be taken at times; but not too hard or too frosty.

6. The diet should be not too much of greases; rather the vegetables, meats that are broiled or roasted or boiled, and not fried foods of any kind. Citrus fruit juices should be a portion of the diet each day. Quantities of Olive Oil, all the body will assimilate, will be well to be taken each

day; preferably in small quantities three, four, five times each day, half to a teaspoonful at a time.

7. As a tonic, as a stimulant for the digestive forces and for the reduction of those conditions through the system, we would prepare a compound in this manner:

8. To 2 ounces of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin, add (in the order named): Elixir of Wild Ginseng...................1 ounce, Elixir or juice of Indian Turnip.......1/4 ounce, Elixir of Calisaya.....................1/2 ounce, Tincture of Valerian...................1/4 ounce, Grain Alcohol..........................1/2 ounce, Distilled Water......................1 1/2 ounces or sufficient to make 6 ounces in all. Shake this together before the dose is taken, which would be a teaspoonful AFTER each meal.

9. Be well to use the Castor Oil Packs at least two, three times a week, over the abdomen and especially along the right side; from the caecum to the edge of the liver.

10. And we would use a deep massage for stimulating the general activities.

11. Do these and, as we find, we will make for greater improvements.

12. In the activities do not overtax the body. When the body feels tired, REST. Though it has to do this at times two, three, four times a day, this will be much more preferable.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Would it be against me to drive a truck this summer? (A) This would be very well provided there is not too heavy a lifting. The driving of the truck or twisting of the body would not be so harmful as lifting, or moving or tugging at anything about same.

15. (Q) Would a belt around my waist be detrimental to me? Could I wear one occasionally without injury? (A) This is not desirable unless it is used rather as a brace, and not just as a convenience for maintaining or holding up trousers.

16. (Q) How much adhesion do I still have? (A) This varies; dependent upon the amount of the absorption taken by the activities of the lymph circulation through same. And the tendency for the congestion within the mucus membrane to dry tissue or to absorb too much of the mucus through the activity in the intestinal system. About one-tenth of one percent of that as was first

indicated.

17. (Q) How often should the deep massage be taken, and should it be osteopathically done? (A) Preferably osteopathically. If taken once a week of GENERAL, THOROUGH treatment it would be most beneficial. Or two to three times a week of a general massage would be very good.

18. (Q) Have I been doing any work or anything that has been against my health? (A) The more the diet than anything else! Or those tendencies, as indicated, to get overheated and cooling too quick - or too much COOL water at times.

19. (Q) Am I well on the way to a full recovery? (A) As indicated, VERY, very much improved. Precautions, consistency, will make for a full, complete recovery.

20. (Q) By following the directions correctly, how long will it be before I am well of the adhesions? (A) For six to eight weeks we should find a great improvement; though, to be sure, the weakness and tendencies are there - and these will just GRADUALLY be overcome or outgrown. Do those things as we have indicated.

21. (Q) How may I gain more weight? (A) By following those suggestions as indicated, so that that absorbed or assimilated gives more strength and vitality to the body.

22. (Q) Any further suggestions for the benefit of the body? (A) We would follow these suggestions in a consistent and persistent way and manner.

23. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (Directions were enclosed for Druggist.)
