1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [533]; this we have had before.
2. Conditions are not so good with this body in the present.
3. While there are the resistances in the system it would be well that there not be allowed too great an activity, until the strength or vitality returns.
4. Yet unless there are some tendencies to prevent the tissue and the mucous membranes throughout the intestinal system from ADHERING, throughout the absorbing and eliminating systems, we will have a worse condition than we have had in these forces or influences before.
5. For there is the lack in the system of the urea in the blood that forms for making of sufficient quantity of that in the body, and it tends for the tissue to become adhering or sticking or drying. Hence nausea occurs when the body is on the feet, dizziness, and those things that tend to make for the rushing of the blood to various portions of the torso of the body.
6. The better applications in the present, then, as we find, would be:
7. Keep the eliminations generally through the use of the high enemas when necessary. These are not to be taken every day, or every other day, but when necessary. But have an evacuation through the alimentary canal at least once EVERY day; twice is better.
8. Apply the combination of oils; that is, the equal parts Mutton Suet, Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Dip a flannel in this solution, warm, and keep over the whole of the abdomen the greater portion of the time, or as the body rests. This may be taken off for periods, or may be changed around or about. But such applications will be the greater influence.
9. Then, we would massage the spine, (preferably

osteopathically), very gently, to stimulate the nerve supply to the organs of the body; as related to the whole of the circulatory forces of the body, especially the activities to influence the movements through the whole of the digestive or intestinal system.
10. In the diets keep those things that will agree, yet we will find it will be necessary to change; but that are body- building. Beef tea (not broth), liver, tripe; these are of the nature that will supply that effluvium in the blood, with vegetables especially such as okra, squash, onions (boiled). These will supply the necessary influence, of course with other things.
11. Do that.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) When can he get out of bed? (A) When he's feeling a whole lot better! Don't get up TOO SOON! He's done this once or twice already! Keep the movements of the body, but be very mindful that these do not allow tissue to become adhering or sticking.
14. (Q) What is the cause of the clogginess in the system? (A) As indicated. Do these things, as we find, would be the better for this body, [533].
