1. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, [537].
2. In entering the present experience we find from the atrological aspects these are somewhat confusing, if they are judged from such relationships alone. As for the causes, purposes and environs for the entity's entering in the experience in the present, and those surroundings and environs that influence the entity in the present, while they may be said to be astrological, rather is it the order of development for the entity as it has purposed within its inner self. For, while rebuffs have existed in the experience, the inner self has sought for a divine guidance - and thus has made applications in the experiences throughout the sojourns in the earth in those ways and manners as to merit much that may be used in the present for bringing contentment that comes only with the knowledge of the soul filling those purposes for which it entered the present experience.
3. From the astrological sojourns, though, that innately manifest themselves through the mental experiences of the entity, we find these come from sojourns primarily - or that ruling influence in Venus, with Jupiter, Uranus and Mercury.
4. Venus, then, is that latent temperament that has in some of the earth's sojourns brought desires that were of such natures as to destroy much of the faith, confidence in individuals; yet in the present sojourn and experience it makes the questionings as to individuals' activities - desiring, as it were, to believe in the abilities of individuals as to their moral and mental and purposeful
537-1 Page 2
desires, yet wary of their own manifestations.
5. Jupiter makes for the vast experiences, and abilities to make for associations and relations that may influence individuals - giving abilities in specific directions. For, as we find from the earth's sojourns - as will be seen, and those things that have been experienced that will be given in the experiences in the earth - the abilities in specific directions are marked. And if the body will lend self in that direction, there may be brought in the experience and sojourn those things that will make for aids of specific natures and kinds to individuals - especially to the young, and will bring into the experience of self those things that would be satisfying in material ways, gratifying in the position or place. Yet in each activity must every soul pay the price of that to which it would lend itself to be of a greater service to its fellow man, and an ambassador for the creative influences that must be held - and that are held by the entity - as its ideal in the present experience.
6. In Mercury we find the mental forces; quick of perception, and analytical in its manner, yet questioning oft.
7. From the Uranian influences there are the abilities in intuitive directions, that create the ability to vision well, to picturize well, visualize in forms that may be presented to others such that they will be able to apply same in their own experiences.
8. As to the appearances, then, and their influences in the present sojourn - and those that may be used as stepping-stones for mental-soul development in the present:
9. Before this we find the entity was during those periods when there was much rejoicing in the native land for the freedom of the peoples from that which was felt as an oppression.
10. The entity then was in the place known as Philadelphia, in the name Marjorie Akin; among those that rejoiced, as many rejoiced during that particular period. For, it was then in the heyday of life in the experience, and gave expression to self in the ways and manners as did many another; though of those peoples that were called Brethren or Quakers. And with and through those people did the entity give much that was helpful and hopeful; and even today there may be found something of the writings among those peoples in that particular vicinity, as to how the application of freedom was made; as the church; and what the better things stood for, that the entity gave for the young.
11. In the experience the entity gained through the greater portion, and those things that are innate as for the
537-1 Page 3
abilities to speak well, and to express self well in those things that pertain to helpful or hopeful influences in the lives of others, were manifested.
12. There are the abilities to be as a social worker, or one that may make friendships easily; yet always feels innate in self as just a bit aloof, and has few friends to whom the self pours out its own self. And hence makes - from the sojourn in that experience as well as others, as we shall see - for a a tendency not of backwardness exactly, but rather as reserved in self; making for the influences such that the entity is not wholly at ease with self.
13. These things the entity may find, in its abilities and how to apply same, may be overcome; for while they are not as faults, they may be carried to such an extent that they DO NOT become virtues - rather stumblingblocks.
14. Before that we find the entity was in that period when the Master walked in the land, during those periods when there was the cleansing in the temple.
15. The entity then was among those who aided in the outer court, but being of that faith; for, being in the Gentile court, it was of the Hebraic faith.
16. Through coming in contact with those influences there was brought to the entity contentment in the inner self; though the outward appearances were oft as of turmoil and strife, for they were bickered about by the Roman influence in the land; and often there were rebukes received by those in charge because of its peculiar associations and adherence to this sect of the peoples that had been questioned - and that grew more and more to be questioned by those in authority; for indeed were those in authority sons of Belial. [2 Cor. 6:15]
17. In that experience the entity gained much; for the experience was much that may be sought, to be in the hearing of Life itself. He that was able to bring, and is able to bring into the hearts and souls of those that seek Him, the home, the hope for not only life eternal but the hopefulness in being able to be a channel of blessings to others - through the application of that experience in the life in the present sojourn.
18. Also abilities and lessons that may be taken from those experiences, or drawn upon by self in its application in the present, may make the greater background for the field of activity of the entity.
19. Before that we find the entity was in that experience when those in many lands sojourned to what is now known as the Arabian land. [Uhjltd period]
20. The entity then was among the Grecians that came to
537-1 Page 4
seek, and came to find fault - yet remained to pray with those that had found the influences of such a nature that there was not only healing in body but the tempering in the minds of those to such measures that brought the great rewards of service to others in the experience of all.
21. The entity through that sojourn gained, yet lost; for when there were the periods when many turned away - by the teachings of the individuals that came to override the land - the figures or bodies of those became the necessities of the hour in the experience of the entity, as in many another.
22. Then the entity was in the name Media.
23. In the present experience there are those influences that make for doubts and fears in self, and as to the purpose and aims of others, that come from the sojourn there.
24. In making the application in the present, keep that thou hast found good; not to thy self alone but that others may share same with thee; and thus will the good grow, some forty, some sixty, some an hundredfold, in thine own experience.
25. Before that we find the entity was in that land known as the Atlantean, during those periods when individuals were leaving the lands for self-protection in other lands.
26. The entity was among those peoples that went to what is now known as Central America, the Mayan peoples, and became among those in the temple service there; being second in position of importance, as would be said or termed from present outlooks.
27. Through the experience the entity gained, losing only when those of other lands or faiths joined in to make for the addition of those things pertaining to lauding of the power of those that were in authority.
28. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:
29. There are those things of specific natures, as we have indicated, to which the entity may lend itself; and thus bring development for self. Also in preparing, writing or dictating or presenting stories for children in such manners that they may be used in their studies, in their gaining the proper training and development in their spiritual life. In this field of activity the entity may not only find contentment but soul development; making, of course, the practical application from the experiences in Galilee, Judea, Capernaum; also that which has loosened peoples' minds in the various periods of removal of oppression and given them free thought in manifesting their expressions,
537-1 Page 5
their activity for the love of creative forces, or God.
30. In all ages has this come under the supervision of a teacher, a minister, and - as the entity has been in the capacity of an aide, in the capacity of helping in the one way or another in many of these - so may the entity find in the present, through these abilities innate and manifested, that it may bring to others such story forms that will be helpful to many.
31. KEEP that committed unto thee in such ways and manners that His blessings may come, even as they did in those days when He walked by thee.
32. Choose to so conduct thy life that He may walk and talk with thee as face to face, as He walks in the way. Let HIM be thy guide in thy going ins, in thine coming out, in thy meditations - be not afraid.
33. Ready for questions.
34. (Q) What are my symbols? (A) The dorna (?) and the staff; the dorna (?) being the BB as would be put together, representing the people that adhered to the faiths in Palestine that were of another race; the staff, of course, being the shepherd crook.
35. (Q) Just what have been the associations of myself and [295]? (A) (Interrupting) They both knew the weaknesses of each in Galilee.
36. (Q) What have been the associations of myself and Betty Wagner - (A) (Interrupting) We haven't Betty Wagner!
37. (Q) What was my name in Galilee? (A) Marya.
38. (Q) What are the first steps I should take in carrying out my life work as suggested? (A) Gathering the data that may be put together in the various stories that may be used, either as supplement reading or leaflet stories or books; for, as we find, the abilities to do all of these are innate - and may be builded by the entity in this direction.
39. (Q) Any further counsel? (A) Keep this as given. Use that thou hast in hand. Be guided ever by that as He gave, "It is more blessed to be in the house of the Lord than to dwell in the tents of the wicked."
