1. LS: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body. You will answer all questions which I might ask you relative to this body.
2. EC: Now, we find the conditions in the body are different from that as we have had here before. In specific manner and in a general way do we find changes in the system, so these are the conditions as we find at the present time.
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this very good, though less in quantity than would be normal. The elements and constituents of same, however, are good, for there is at the present the increase in the number of leukocytes in the blood supply to meet the needs of conditions as exist in portions of the body. Well were this kept near the same distribution, that the body both gain more strength and vital forces to give and meet not only the resistance as necessary in broken tissue and in eliminating of and through the system, but that the system might require of the replenishing centers that to meet resistance in the body (when this has been completed in the system) necessary at the present time.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this, while we find different in some respects, better in others, as is produced by shock in the system and the action and reaction of same in body at present time, yet there are some centers that need the retraction through the manipulation [by Dr. Wm. A. Gravett, D.O.] in the system to bring about the better conditions for the body. That of the dorsal region, that we may keep that that has been gained by the shock to the system in position of stomach and kidneys, and lungs. The shock to the system, while severe, in portion, to the body, has in some places, if taken advantage of, proved beneficial to the body at the present time. This, as we see, is through the trunk portion of body, and by the stimulation of the muscular forces that

have been straightened by the shock, by the up-turning, as it were, of the whole system, and the organs in same, [See 538-6 on 1/17/24 in re tipped stomach, etc.] may be brought to a benefit to the body.
5. In the nerve plexus and centers, then, we find these as have been bad. In that to the facial portions, especially in the right [5/7/40 See 538-64 in re losing sight in right eye as a result of this accident.] side, we find the nerves of the frontal portion of the face, or those of the ophthalmic nerve and that connecting with the lachrymal artery, show how these, through the pressure in the facial portion, in the orbital portions in face, that these are shattered, as it were, not disconnected entirely, but are bruised and held in place in such a manner as to cause the congestion, the swelling, especially that coming around the lachrymal ducts and through the lachrymal artery. This in the blood forces is being absorbed by the increase in the circulation, especially of the leukocyte. This may be assisted by the external application of salt, heated (not too hot) moistened well with pure apple vinegar. This absorption, this saline as will be absorbed through the portion of the body, will aid in the creating of the distribution of the forces to be eliminated in the system, also supplying through the acid as would be taken in the body through this means that necessary to supply the nerve energy to retract, rebuild. Then be necessary afterwards to apply (when soreness has been removed) those vibrations in the cervical region, in the centers from which the 4th, 5th nerve of face branch to this portion of body. These, as we will find, will be in the left side, in the neck and in the upper part of body. These will be stimulated by manipulation and by the application of the electrical forces to give the necessary reaction in the system. In the centers to the trunk portion of body, stimulation of all those about the solar plexus, all of those about the lumbar plexus, that we may retain that as gained by these conditions. Will assist the body. There should be at least eight to ten deep osteopathic manipulations, with the application of the rays of Alpine or Rino rays to the body to stimulate the secretions in the system. Hot salt baths, or sulphur baths would be good for body too.
6. These would assist and keep the body in that condition as is being produced at the present time.
7. The diet for the system is as that as has been outlined. The digestive system in better condition that we have had before, but follow out those suggestions as we have given, and we will bring the better conditions for this body. Do

8. (Q) Is the large bone in side of the face injured in any way? (A) Only bruised, and the orifice, or that next to the nose shows the congestion as is gathered there, through that as we have given. Not broken, bruised. No severing of nerve or arteries, or vein forces. Congestion - bruised.
