1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [538]. You will give a detailed life-history of this entity's appearance in Egypt as Isris, and of her association with those of that period with whom she is closely associated in the present. You will answer the questions which will be asked regarding this, and also regarding information which has been given her through these sources and her present development.
2. EC: Yes, we have that record as made in THAT experience. In the entering as a record, in the household of him raised to the position of priest enduring the banishment of the entity with others, becoming a favorite of the king, in the household of the king, and a dancer in the temple service; becoming one favored by the priest, and with the associations became a mother in the king's household, banished with priest to the Nubian land; in exile for nine years, returned with those of the exile and those gathered about the priest and HIS associates. Many were the associations directly, indirectly, of the entity during this period. Beautiful of body and figure, many are the casts that were made during the period as an aide or dancer in temple service. In the latter days more active in the issuing forth of those tenets as were carried to the various groups or peoples, as the KINGDOM extended its appeal to other lands. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) What karma does the entity bring to the present from this period, and how may I work this out? (A) Easily holding grudges where there are misunderstandings, or those who apparently injure the the body in thought or deed. In working same out, this becomes necessary - as we find in answering such questions - that we turn entirely away from that as is a record and use either that as the IDEAL as has been builded, or was builded in that period and later became manifest through those forces as were known in the Son.* In overcoming karma, or that innate influence that arises from experience of the soul in

its passage through material planes, the meeting of individuals, entities, drawn to or from by innate urges that become impelling in many ways, these are acted upon by that as is builded by an entity as its ideal. Well to learn that lesson! for as is builded, then does the comparison come when the soul passes from experience to experience by that it has held as its standard. This becomes confusing to the body, as we view from this plane. This, then: As one builds in self that ideal as takes away the errors of material things, as this grows, so does the soul become more like Him - see? * [See 538-31 on 7/16/32 and 538-32 on 7/19/32, indicating that she became governess or teacher of Uhjltd's son (Zend) who later was incarnated as Jesus.]
4. (Q) How may I better fit myself to aid in this work, which is so influenced by this Egyptian period? (A) In drawing nearer and nearer to that MIND as was IN Him who CRYSTALLIZED the EXPERIENCES of the period in the earth ten thousand five hundred years later. As this becomes understood, may each soul, each entity, apply those truths as given, then as crystallized, as exemplified, as made one in Him; so may a soul, meditating in those tenets, come to know how, what manner, self may apply self's abilities in daily contacts with individuals, bring forth that as makes for the better, the clarifying, the exemplifying, of those laws, loves, truths.
5. (Q) What was my position or standing after the return from banishment? (A) As the companion of the priest, gradually did the body become affiliated, associated with the applications of those tenets and truths as given. When there began the distributing of same to others, the ENTITY aided in the capacity as the interpreter, or the MEDIUM of exchange FROM priest TO those that became missionaries, emissaries, or students.
6. (Q) Has there been more development in the past eight years than at any time before in this life? [See 538-5, Par. 4.] (A) More. More in the past FOUR AND A HALF years than at any time in the life; for, as the life reads, first there is the determination, the desire - then the attempt to put that desire into ACTIVE formation of deeds and activities; the tongue - truly - being the unruly member.
7. (Q) How can I develop my mental forces to the greatest extent in the present? (A) By more constant meditation, and putting into action

day by day a little more patience, a little more love, a little more forgiving, a little more prayer. These DEVELOP the mental of the subconscious to that point of SPIRITUAL activity. Being made in the flesh, heir to the weaknesses of same, one becomes more SPIRITUAL by the even balance that is obtained by making PERSONAL application, doing that - even though it hurt - that will aid another; NOT that self is to be crucified that another may have EASE in the material sense. That another may have UNDERSTANDING in the mental and SPIRITUAL sense, sure; for "my yoke is easy, my burden is light" is SELDOM understood. When the desire and the purpose, the application, is one - then it becomes easy; but when they are at variance one to another, hard IS the way, and the call of the flesh becomes strong.
8. (Q) How can I overcome antagonistic forces in self and others? (A) By ACTUAL manifesting forgiveness, more and more. As has been given, "Is it easier, Son, thy sins be forgiven, or to say Arise, take up thy bed and walk? but THAT YE MAY KNOW that the Son hath power to FORGIVE" [Mat. 9:5--6] - meaning to forget the weakness and give STRENGTH to those that falter. Even so, in overcoming antagonistic feelings, forgive as ye would BE forgiven, remembering then no more. This overcomes antagonism and antagonistic influences; for as self WAS, IS, an influence IN dispersing FEELINGS in hearts and souls of peoples, the thoughts held create the currents upon which the wings of experience must pass, and then - as these are made in positive contacts - so does antagonism be overcome, love made manifest, glorying in thine own ability IN Him; not in self, IN Him!
9. (Q) In the Egyptian period, why was the child, Iso [288], kept by the king? (A) The mother [538] being a favorite, the father [294] being rejected, the king [341] in power - being thwarted by the acts of the priest [294] - the KING took VENGEANCE on both THROUGH the offspring, keeping - by the counsel of those advising same - as a lesson to those guilty, and to the populace as a whole.
10. (Q) Why did it [Iso - [288]] die so early? (A) Being withdrawn from, in thought, in counsel by those responsible for its entrance - being not hated, but an outcast - NOTHING held same from the next experience.
11. (Q) What effect did this have on this entity, [538], in this present experience, or what urge comes from same? (A) That of the protective urge, yet ever fearful of the variation of experience that may exist between those of the associations and self.
12. (Q) Are we passing through a period at present similar

to the period of banishment in Egypt? (A) RATHER the period of the return, for those that are associated in the present with the entity are come in the PRESENT with the desire as of THAT period, for the carrying ON - see? BANISHMENT, that period when contention, distrust, false activities, wonderments at actions, changed surroundings, environs. Is it not nine moons, or months, since change? 13. (Q) In former reading [538-5] for this entity, what is meant by "Soul and spirit took possession of this entity late in the evening," as the body was born at eight o'clock in the morning? [7:58 A.M., CST., as per 538-36, Par. 9-A.] (A) As the entity FOUND in that body in life, so the spirit and soul entered in the evening [afternoon] - three, four, in evening. [GD's note: It is customary in our portion of the south to refer to the afternoon as "evening," and to the evening as "night."] Life is a portion of the whole COSMIC world, and OF the CREATIVE Energy. Entities, or spirits, or soul - with its spirit, with its portion of the cosmic influence - takes POSSESSION as it SEEMETH that influence IT would have. That environ it would have; for all that a soul MAY experience is VISIONED as it enters that environ for its experience.* Its faith, its hope in individuals as personalities, oft is shattered! [See opposite situation under 288-1 in which the soul entrance of [288] apparently preceded her physical birth by several hours.] * [Member of [538]'s family commented on how typical it was for her to weigh and consider every angle before obligating herself to take on this body, with all of the problems she would have to face in this incarnation.
