This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of July, 1932, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [538].

Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. ..., Va. (Continuance of Persian appearance and associations)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [538], the information that has been given through these channels regarding experiences in the earth's plane.

2. Here we would give, for the clarification of information in the minds of those studying such information and the source from which this is gained:

3. In the suggestion, this should be rather the MENTAL body, or the soul body AND the mind of the body, giving the name of the body in the present at the present time; for, as has been given, the information is taken from records of MENTAL activity, rather than wholly physical, through such experiences. These influences will give, then, a better concept of the experience of an entity through a given experience, and account for - or show - such variations that may be had from the record being read by one individual contacting such AND another; for, as was given by Him the great interpreter, the Holy One, the Son of man, "Thou knowest the scripture, how readest thou?" See?

4. So, in the experiences that may be given, these are as they are read from such records by those that contact same, and much is shaded or interpreted by the MENTAL experience of one seeking such information. Is such an one's ideal above that of others' who seek in the same records, then the interpretations to such an one would become much more clarified than to others. Not that these were not actual material physical experiences, but impressions of the SOUL - or entity - are mental as WELL as material, see? so that the REAL life that may be read of an ENTITY'S experience is seen, while SOME may at times misinterpret, misconstrue, the physical relationships of individuals.

5. In this experience, as we have of this entity Inxa, as given, there was much mental disturbance until there was gained within self the awakening of the purpose, aim, desire, of those whom the entity came under the relations of in the mental forces to manifest rather the better self that was creative in its expression, than that which would halter or disturb, or undo, the better forces within self and those

about the entity. As has been given, the FRUITS of Life, or of the Spirit, are love, long-suffering, patience, understanding, brotherly love, preference of others before self, and the like; while hate, contention, and the such, are the fruits of those that are destructive in their elements, and all should refrain from such.

6. In the experience of the entity, then, with this change came the desire to put into effect the change which had come in the experience of the entity. Then, with the association of Xuno, there were brought those forces and variations of expressions in the relationships of a period and a peoples building towards the beauties in nature, in all relationships. These may be turned into those forces as clarifications of selfish desires by their fruits, or into those that are called lusts - for these are the fruits of desire that is ungratified in its relationships one to another, and breed contempt, hatred, and the like. The entity, then, saw that WITH the activities of those about self, and the effect had upon the emissaries that were brought in from time to time. These, then, gave forth that of beauty in the lives of those so contacted. Then, combined with the abilities to control the young, the developing years of individuals, the entity - in conjunction with the companion - set about to aid especially in this portion of the work. Not what would be termed today as a teacher's relationship, but rather as an instructor a companion, of the younger ones. Hence, when those of the leader's household came into those relationships, there was the giving over to the entity the activities in regard to training the body Zan, [See 993-3, Par. 5-A, 6-A on 10/21/31 & 288-29, Par. 15-A--17-A on 4/16/32.] mentally AND physically, into the stout, stalwart one who brought to these peoples that which had been promised by those who had set in motion those activities of the leader in this particular sphere.

7. Soon after the demise of the leader Uhjltd, there were those periods when oppression came. The entity then was among those who suffered, in SEEING the companion being gradually drawn into relationships with those peoples who made the invasions that destroyed portions of the leaders, and the leader's household; yet the boy and girl were saved by the entity and companions who became those leaders in re-establishing those forces that brought about peace and harmony.

8. The entity then developed in the latter portion of the experience to the abilities to control more and more by the eye, and by the prayer, that oft brought many to submission

who were not able to be conquered in any other manner.

9. Ready for questions.

10. The entity, as we find, remained in this surrounding, this environ; for eventually the companion was gradually won back, yet never occupying the important place or position, never trusted by the entity nor the leaders, through the rise of those lessons that were given which became the foundations of many of those places of refuge that were established by the emissaries, which would today be called the schools for the prophets. [Essenes?]

11. The entity lived to be a hundred and twenty years of age, as would be termed in the present day reckoning, retaining the strength, the vitality of the body, through the whole period. When CHOOSING to give over those activities to that one, and those, who had been trained, simply closed the eyes - and rested.

12. (Q) Please give the association of the entity, and what it brings over to the present period, of the following as I call the names, if associated at all: [369] in the present, known as Elia [in that Persian period]. (A) These were as hearsays, and rather those of the portion - or parent - of the entity. [Mother in that period who committed suicide when [538] was a baby.]

13. (Q) [228], known as Khurdus Uhjltd. (A) A later leader, as trained by Uhjltd and the later associates. Closely associated with Edssi. Hence contacts with these would be well. A friend of the entity Inxa.

14. (Q) Edssi. [437]: (A) Edssi was rather one who counseled oft with the entity, and the entity looked to the entity throughout the experience. Edssi was among those who lost their lives in the raid made by the entity's companion's people.

15. (Q) [288], known as Ilya. (A) In the latter portion a close associate. Hatred and contempt in a portion of both's experience, that must needs have been overcome in those periods when there were the developments for both. In the latter portion became very closely associated in ideas, ideals, and in material things. The entity, then, was one who aided in the care of Ilya [See 538-41, 538-42, on 6/24/35, 6/26/35, in which Ilya (now [288]) nursed [538] through an illness.] [Also 538-68 & 538-71 last illness.] when those raids destroyed those portions of the land in which many were lost, which did not reoccur - through much of the activity of the entity Inxa with those under Ujhilld (?) [Ujndt, Uhjltd's other son? See 2091-1 on 2/11/40.], who became the military leader (as would be termed today) before Zan rose to the position of

spiritual leader for those peoples.

16. (Q) [295] in the present. (A) Among those cared for by the entity, though among those (the entity then, now as [295]) that went off with some of those that were closely associated with the entity. These associations we find, as it were, disappearing out of the experience. [4/13/34 See 295-9, Par. 17-A--22-A in re assocs. with [538] in Egypt, Persia, France.]

17. (Q) Zan in that period. (A) Zan - that one who became the leader - trained in physical and mental much by the entity, and closely associated with the entity. Zan not in the earth's plane in the present. Came again as those that were the Sons of man, and - the Savior of the world. In the re-appearance, many that were among those will be called blessed; for their place has been prepared, if they will but remain faithful. As He gave, "Who is my mother, my brother, my sister? He that doeth the will of my Father, the same is my mother, my brother, my sister."

18. (Q) Mrs. [69], known as Aidia. (A) Aidia was then among those who were drawn to the land. The associations were rather what would be termed in the present, as from Aidia, not liking the entity, yet honoring the entity for the position, for the place. These changed oft in their ideas of one another, yet from the very experience of the entity Inxa - and that which was builded - pity for Aidia. These, then, were not as close as might have been. In the present there's an opportunity for each, but it will require patience from each.

19. (Q) Have I contacted Xuno in this experience, the one to whom I was married? (A) In school.

20. (Q) That one known as Edgar Johnson? [In high school] (A) Rather as [...] [last name of person].

21. (Q) [5707]? [present brother?] (A) Turner L. [...]. [4923] [Mrs. [538] later said she knew [4923] in high school and he died very-young in life.]

22. (Q) [2698], as Eoso. [[538]'s brother in this life] (A) The son.

23. (Q) [993], as Uldha in that period. (A) The sister then of Zan, and a close associate - and was raised in the household of the entity Inxa after those conditions which brought about the separations of these from the families of the leaders, as were known then. This brought, then, much of an undertaking for each. Hence in the present there will be seen at periods that each are an undertaking for the other, but they will depend much upon

one another.

24. (Q) [2457] as Myra. (A) These were rather as heresay, from portions of the country where these came under the influence of the entity. In the latter portion of the experience Aimy became rather closely associated, as what would be termed in the present as a servant, but more of a companion-servant than one who served as we would term in the present experience.

25. (Q) [569] as Aurial. [[538]'s present step-cousin, foster sister] (A) Aurial was of the entity's companion's people, and there were periods of (what would be termed in the present) in's and out's. As there was the rise of the various groups to which each aligned themselves, contentions arose - yet these were needed for the development; for each has been and will be experienced in the present.

26. (Q) [957] as Ujxed. (A) Among those who were of the council to Edssi and Diuoja (?) in the building up of those conditions for the leaders in the spiritual, and there was much dependence upon one another in the needs of the balance between the peoples, the conditions, and those that called for the maintenance of order, whether of paternal, of penal, or spiritual.
