1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [538].
3. As we find, in the present there are acute conditions from excess of cold and irritation to the mucous membranes of the throat and chest. While the excess of the cold germ is on the wane, the inflammation continues to make for disturbance throughout the whole body, in that it increases the circulation through the irritated portions.
4. As an expectorant, and as a soothing effect for the irritated mucus membranes, as well as to work with the digestive forces, we find it would be well to prepare a compound in this manner:
5. To 2 ounces of Water add 1 tablespoonful of Pure Honey. Let come to a boil. Skim off the refuse. Then, while this is warm but not hot, add: Apple Brandy.....................1 tablespoonful, Gordon's Gin.....................1 teaspoonful, Syrup of Horehound...............1 tablespoonful, Chloroform......................10 minims. Shake this together and take about half a teaspoonful, letting it trickle down the throat; not swallowed so much in a gulp, but take about every hour or two hours until the cold is allayed.
6. Keep on the liquid and semi-liquid diets, which are preferable to any heavy meals.
7. Keep up the eliminations by the fruit juices, especially orange with lemon and grapefruit juices. Vegetable juices and soups, raw vegetables, are well; especially celery and carrots.
8. Do these.
9. As to the rest of the conditions - we will find there will be some little irritation arising from the attempts of

the system to create resistances in the blood supply for the staving off, or the choking of cold. Consequently, we find that the use of Glyco-Thymoline as an antiseptic will be helpful; both as to douches and taken internally as well.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Should I continue with the Wet Cell Appliance? (A) This had best be left off, until the cold and irritation is allayed - for it works against the general HEALING forces, as it is for the producing of counter-irritation, you see, in a BALANCED system.
12. (Q) Do you find any improvement in the right eye, or vision? (A) As indicated, directions for these conditions had best be given when there are the better conditions through the cold. The eye is better, however. There is nearer to the circle in the center, or the pupil itself.
13. (Q) Should I go in tomorrow for an osteopathic treatment? (A) Not if it requires getting out in the weather!
