1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, conditions are changed somewhat from those as we have had before. Some show an improvement. Others apparently are exaggerated by the tensions upon the nerve system, owing to development of conditions through the activity of the glandular system, as well as the pressures upon portions of the nerve reflexes through the body.
4. It would be well, as we find, to have the occasional THOROUGH, GENERAL, manipulations.
5. Of an evening we would use the Violet Ray, bulb applicator, for a stimulation especially to the upper dorsal and through the cervical and head and neck area. If this is taken just before retiring it should aid in the ability to rest, and quieting the nerves.
6. And with the general manipulations taken occasionally, once a week or the like, we should find greater improvements in the general forces and influences of the body.
7. As we find, while those conditions through the kidneys and the activities to the pelvic organs are greatly improved, they are still a contributory cause; but more as a tension sympathetically than the direct cause.
8. Hence as indicated, more of a GENERAL treatment would be suggested in the manipulative forces.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) What causes blood to pass from rectum? (A) An overstimulation to the mucous membranes of the lower abdominal area. If the colon irrigation or high enemas would be kept occasionally (that may be taken by self), such should be kept cleansed from the system. This is not as yet any direct, other than as a sympathetic cause, as we find.
11. (Q) Are glasses fitted properly, and should I continue to wear them?
540-12 Page 2
(A) Continue to wear them when the eyes are used in reading or in close work, or activities that require same. And with the stimulation to the nerve forces we will find a great deal better condition and the more easily adjusting of the body to same.
12. (Q) May anything be done to strengthen vision in left eye? (A) Use, as indicated, the electrical forces; with the manipulative forces.
13. (Q) Why am I extremely nervous? (A) Because of the nerve tensions!
14. (Q) Would smoking be harmful, since it seems to help me relax? (A) If smoking is desired, it aids - and adds as a sedative to the system. Not harmful in moderation.
15. (Q) What is the hurting in throat and stomach, like heartburn? (A) Too much of grease.
16. (Q) Are my tonsils diseased? (A) Sympathetically irritated; and with the application of the general manipulations and electrical forces should be materially aided; as also by drainages set up for the whole of the intestinal system. Do that.
17. (Q) What causes shortness of breath? (A) Nervousness.
18. (Q) Is my heart in good condition? (A) As indicated, this is only sympathetically affected. It is very good.
19. (Q) What is the condition of the appendix? (A) Very good.
20. (Q) What causes the slight pain which settled in right side? (A) The manipulations needed for the relaxing of the muscular tensions through this portion of the system. A neuralgic pain.
21. (Q) Is my diet correct? (A) Diet is very good, though there should be left off as much of the fried foods as practical.
22. (Q) Should the Packs be given oftener, or at all? (A) If the other information as given here is carried out, these as we find would not be necessary in the present.
23. (Q) Please give an affirmation that will help me, to hold for my physical health. (A) LET THAT, O GOD, BE DONE IN AND THROUGH MY BODY THAT WILL BETTER FIT IT, AND MY MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SELF, TO CARRY ON IN THE WAY THOU WOULD HAVE ME GO, NOW. THOU KNOWEST THE NEEDS OF MY MIND AND OF MY BODY, AND OF THOSE WHOM I WOULD SERVE IN GIVING MYSELF AS THOU SEEST FIT.

KEEP ME, THEN, IN THAT WAY THAT I, AS THY SERVANT, MAY GIVE THE BETTER SERVICE TO THOSE I CONTACT IN EVERY WAY.
