On the back porch Time of Reading her parents' home 11:20 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Georgia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We should have more specific directions here.

2. GC: At the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. [...].

3. EC: We have two other [...]. (Pause) This is the other side of town here, isn't it? (Pause) It's right pretty around here!

4. GC: [552] on back porch.

5. EC: We find her; she is here. She is almost an invalid!

6. We have the body, [552]. As we find, much better information might be given for this body from the purposes for which this body, this soul, entered in this environ and in this experience. For, while there may be palliatives given, as for bringing normalcy to this body in this experience we find that no PERMANENT relief - or little, at least - may be attained until there is a change in the purposes, the desires of the soul in its expression through the physical manifestations. A lesson indeed may be gained from those things that have brought about the physical experiences in this body at this time!

7. While there is a course to be pursued from the material angles, much greater indeed is the attitude of those about the body; and with the approach they as individuals make as to the conditions and the purposes that they meet the requirements necessary for the care, the attention - yea, at times the very condition that impels them to minister to the needs of this soul at this time.

8. There has been a wasting away of not only structural forces but the inability of coordinations through the activities of the organs and the body-physical to perform those functions necessary to make for resuscitation of vital forces. And oft has been the wonderment by those that have ministered as to how that life in its manifestations continues to function through such as the conditions that

552-1 Page 2

exist here.

9. Little other than this care, than this attention, may be given. It is apparent that there may be given palliatives and aids in directions to keep the activities of the physical and mental body in its preparations for soul's development, most, through the experience.

10. Then, in ministering those things that we find would be of the greater aid for the physical body, we would add the wet cell battery formations that may meet those conditions that make for coordination between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic activities of the body, creating from the solar plexus ganglia an activity that will produce - for that which is assimilated in the digestive system - those things that will keep near a normal balance in the distribution for those portions of the body where those influences have made and do make for this incoordination.

11. Prepare the wet cell battery in the way that has been indicated. We would make the connections for carrying the various compounds that are to meet the inroads of those things in the structural forces, and in the physical forces of the body, in the form of those activities that waste away the tissue, that waste away the portions in the form of tubercle forces in the structural body itself in the assimilated forces. So, we would make the application first of the anode that does not carry the solution (the positive) to the umbilicii center, over the glands of assimilation - or the glands and lacteal ducts. And the anode carrying the solution (the negative) we would apply over the 9th and 10th segments of the cerebrospinal system. The chloride of Gold would be carried as one solution for one period. The next day we would make the same application, but use Atomidine in solution. The next day we would make the solution Spirits of Camphor. Rest one day. Then begin again with the Gold; the next day with the Atomidine, the next day with the Spirits of Camphor. Each of these solutions should have a different connection, a different insertion into the quantity or fluid being applied to the body. The application each day would be for twenty minutes.

12. Also each day we would make a gentle massage along the whole cerebrospinal system in such a way and manner as to - especially in the plexuses in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, in the 4th lumbar and sacral area - make for an enlivenment for the impulse of circulation to the arterial or the interior, as well as to the sympathetic or superficial circulation. This should require from fifteen to twenty minutes of constant circular massage, especially in these particular centers.

13. We would also take internally, every other day, an eighth grain of Animated Ash. This dry on tongue and washed down with a little water.

14. Do not in the beginning use the violet or ultra-violet ray over the body; for the FIRST must be made through the gastric forces of the whole system that coordination may be made in the distribution of that assimilated.

15. Do that. In thirty-six to forty-six days it would be necessary to change the solutions as charged - battery formations. At such a time other information through these sources for changes may be given.

16. In the diet, keep that which has been outlined for the body, as to the best for eliminations and for the digestive forces in body.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) What caused this physical condition? (A) Prenatal. Or, as has been indicated, that the soul must meet.

19. (Q) Any further advice for those in charge of the body? (A) In that which has been indicated there is seen that there must ever be that prayerful attitude that at all times in the ministering, in the care, there may be done that which will not only make for an attitude of helpful hopefulness for the body, for the mental attributes, for the physical forces, but that there may be gained patience, kindness, brotherly love, endurance, and - most of all - consistency in the attitude in the activities of those about the body. During the periods when massage is being given, let THIS be as the prayer: WE THANK THEE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY, O LORD, THAT WE MAY IN SOME MEASURE MEET THOSE THINGS THOU HAS GIVEN FOR THY CHILDREN IN THIS MATERIAL WORLD. LET THE POWER OF THE CHRIST SPIRIT, THROUGH THOSE PROMISES GIVEN, BE MADE MANIFEST IN MY LIFE AS I MINISTER NOW - AND IN THE LIFE OF THIS BODY, [552] [EC called her [...] "Sanford" instead of her real last name in this incarnation.] - BE DONE THAT, O GOD, AS THOU SEEST IS BEST AT THIS TIME.

20. We are through with this reading. [GC tried to ask the question. "How long should the battery be applied each day?" but he said "We are through" before she could finish it. Then, after she had given the entire suggestion for him to wake up, with the exception of the last words. "You will wake up," he said, "The application is

twenty minutes, you asked for, for each." I copied it into the reading. GD.] Copy to Sister " " Ass'n file
