1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [554], with special reference to business and employment. You will give the body any advice that will be helpful at this time, answering the questions he will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [554] - this we have had before.

3. In the counsel or advice that is sought by the body at this time, while this pertains particularly to the material affairs of life, yet will these [if these will be made] to be compatible with much of the mental abilities and the spiritual influences the body may have in the various associations and relations, much more may be expected and a much more contented experience will be the entity's lot. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) What business shall I follow to be successful? (A) This would depend much upon what is MEANT by success to the entity, as has been indicated. As we find, in those fields that have been and are best known through experience and associations, would prove the most satisfactory under existent conditions - though, as we find, there are two channels open to the body at the present time. There may be associations or connections made with individual firms or groups, such as the body has served with, or the body may launch into the undertaking for self - either in the surrounding territory or in those fields near same that seems best under the existent circumstance. Either of these may be made satisfactory. In choosing between the two, the body would have many VARIOUS circumstances to consider. In the association with other firms, other associations, there may be that which would not be as satisfactory in home life or surroundings, while considering same from self's individual standpoint -

while it would be slower for launching into work or associations for self, this would require patience, some persistence, a great deal of hard work - yet would in the eventuality, or the long run - as we find - PROVE to be MOST satisfactory. WE would include, or be rather in the SPECIALTY line, or specialty period lines, for those that are INTERESTED in this character of merchandise are not in the same positions as the GENERAL conditions. While these are not of a nature that there is not considerable work in the way of making contacts and establishing self in a given channel or direction, yet the associations that have been had by the body SHOULD make this rather comparatively easy, than many another with even as much abilities as this body; yet the EXCEPTIONAL ability in the line, as well as affability in the given direction, would make for a most PLEASING undertaking.

5. (Q) Shall I go in for merchandising or buying? (A) In the for self, would be the merchandising in the direction given. In that as of representative of others (this the body must choose for self) would be in the buying end.

6. (Q) Would I locate in New York area or out of town? (A) That would depend upon which field would be chosen by the body.

7. (Q) Who shall I see, and how shall I go about it? (A) Through many of the same channels, if the representative field or the buying field is chosen. Through many of the same channels that the body has already been interested in would be the better. If the other is chosen, then these - as is understood - would present a different approach, for it would be that rather of choosing or knowing the needs of individuals and individual's tastes, preparing self and making those connections and those contacts that would make for the supplying of that as is desired; making it rather of a specialty in home, apartment, office, and such - rather than the larger or the greater undertakings, unless affiliated or associated with others.

8. (Q) What sort of a financial arrangement could I get? (A) Satisfactory in either direction.

9. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to go in business for myself? If so, where, and what business? (A) As outlined, these would be very well to be considered.

10. (Q) Where would be the best place, and what business? (A) In that as has been outlined, either in the New York area or the Philadelphia area. Either would be satisfactory.

11. (Q) Shall I take title to a lot in Coney Island next

month, or shall I drop it? (A) Be as well, under all considerations, to drop it.

12. (Q) Any further advice that will help me? (A) Follow first that as has been given, and then choose that which seemeth the most compatible to the desires of the inner man. We are through. Copy to Self " " File
