Time of Reading ... Avenue, 11:15 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [555]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, while conditions have been helped in some respects, there has been a reverting to the distresses in the folds of the sphincter muscles as well as a disturbance in the circulatory forces of the body that makes for tendencies for inflammatory conditions to become more disturbing to the body.

3. While it is necessary for activities of the body, we find there should be sufficient time given for the body to ADJUST itself to those changes that are produced by the exercises as indicated - the use of the astringent, the healing influences and forces for the disturbing factors. And there should be the eliminations created in such a way and manner as to give the physical adjustments and reactions in the sphincter and in the peristaltic movement of the influences through the alimentary canal.

4. So, we would continue then with the exercises, the packs if it becomes necessary, and the use of the astringents - and we should bring the better conditions.

5. For the eliminants - we would use about three tablets of Zilatone, that will make for a strengthening, though producing reactions in the eliminating of the system that would be helpful. Take the first one about half an hour after the meal, then take two about half an hour after the evening meal.

6. The next morning before arising take two teaspoonfuls of Fleet's Phospho-Soda in half a glass of water as hot as the body can drink. Lie upon the right side, preferably with a pillow under the gall duct area, so that the stomach itself will drain through the duodenum and call for activity in the liver. This, of course, will make for relaxations to the lower portion of the colon itself.

7. After this has acted once or twice, cleanse the colon by

the use of an enema; not too much, but in same put a little soda, a level teaspoonful to the quart and one-half of water - having the water the temperature of the body. And we will find these will be most helpful.

8. In the last water it will be well to put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of water a little cooler, that will make for the cleansing and also be an antiseptic activity through those portions where irritation has existed.

9. A massage or an osteopathic treatment would be helpful, but if the exercises are taken regularly these will be most helpful.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What exercises should he take and how? (A) As given; standing erect; raise the hand high above the head as possible, rising on the toes, then slowly bending forward until the hands will almost or quite touch the floor. Do this slowly, but do it at least three, four, five, six times, VERY slowly, stretching upward and forward and downward.

12. (Q) How often? (A) Two to three times a day.

13. (Q) What are the conditions that are a general weakness and of which the body should be warned, as given in reading of Jan. 9, 1936? [555-6] (A) The conditions in the gall duct area that have been indicated to be cleansed by the use of these conditions as outlined.

14. (Q) What causes discharge from the skin in lower part of body and under arms? (A) The poor circulation and the tendency for the superficial circulation to attempt to carry off poisons not eliminated by a slow activity or draining through these areas that will be reacted upon by the use of those properties taken. The one draining of the gall duct should be sufficient, under the existent conditions. If it does not make for a feeling of buoyancy, and take away that heaviness in the lower limbs and feet and the little dizziness is felt, then after two or three days repeat. But in that time take FOUR of the tablets rather than just three, and drink PLENTY of water - two to three glasses when each dosage is taken.

15. (Q) Are treatment being given by Dr. Ober helping my condition? (A) These are helpful but as indicated a GENERAL massage,

555-8 Page 3

WITH the exercises, is better than attempting to make specific adjustments without taking ALL the conditions into consideration.

16. (Q) Please give diet in detail for each meal. (A) This should be changed, of course, as conditions improve, but in the present or for the next eight to ten days we would have as this: Mornings - either citrus fruit juices or cereals dry or cooked. Do not take citrus fruit juices and cereals at the same meal. A little very crisp bacon, coddled egg or the like. Milk OR coffee, but do not mix coffee and milk together before drinking. It's alright to be mixed after it is drunk, by taking them at the same meal but not together; for it's the variation in the activity of the gastric juices of the system causing disturbance. Sugars may be taken in moderation. Toast brown or whole wheat or rye bread. Any of these may be taken. Noons - preferably either vegetable or beef or mutton broth, or a green raw vegetable salad, or the like. Evenings - lentils, beans, carrots, peas, butterbeans; any of these, provided they are cooked preferably in their own juices, then seasoned after being cooked. Fowl, lamb, and occasionally beef - roasted, not fried. Any of these are preferable for the body in the present.

17. (Q) What causes the breaking out on wrists, and should anything specifically be done for that? (A) This as we have found, as indicated, if the eliminations are set up, should disappear. If this is washed occasionally in this combination it would be well, though the bathing tends to make for greater irritation. But after bathing, use this as a combination and it's very well for anyone that has a rash or heat or a humor in the blood: To 2 ounces of Rosewater, add: Glycerine........................30 minims, 10% solution of Calcium.........1/2 ounce. This should be shaken together and rubbed on the hands, wrists, or those portions of the body that are disturbed.

18. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) As has been indicated, do not be overanxious or attempt to have too great an exercise until the body has adjusted itself - you'll save a lot of trouble.

19. We are through with this reading.
