Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. Some changes in the general physical forces of the body, as we find, since last we had same here. Some of these are for the improvement. Others still show the weakness and the tendencies in the system to remain under the strain without responding to the things that have been outlined as administrative forces for the body.
2. We would add rather the oil rubs over the spinal system, especially across the lumbar and lower dorsal area and caecum area; using the equal quantities of Tincture of Myrrh and Olive Oil, heating the oil and adding the myrrh. Use about a tablespoonful of each at each rub. This would be done in the evening when the body is to rest.
3. Also we would find that the use of the Ventriculin would be more helpful in building up the resistances and making for the more easily digestive gastric forces active in the influences in the digestive body, see?
4. With these, and keeping up those activities that have been indicated, we find that there should be brought the better influences and activities to this body.
5. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Have we discontinued any part of the treatment that should be continued? (A) We would keep most all of those things that have been outlined, save - of course - the diet of such a strenuous nature; but those that are the more easily assimilated, and with the Ventriculin we will find these will aid, and with the strengthening of the muscular forces through the massage and through the activities of these properties we should gain strength much faster.
7. (Q) Should the Ventriculin be used with iron? (A) The Ventriculin with iron.
8. (Q) What foods should be taken to best advantage?
556-4 Page 2
(A) The pre-digested liquid or semi-liquid foods are the better.
9. (Q) Is any form of stimulant necessary at any time? (A) Egg or milk with spirits frumenti would be helpful when there is weakness or tendency for dizziness.
10. (Q) Should the electrical vibrator treatment be continued? (A) It SHOULD!
11. (Q) Do I overdo any exercises? (A) Only the using of the strength in walking at times is too much for the body.
12. (Q) Is there anything I can do to stop the heart from beating so hard? (A) With the massage in the lumbar and sacral area we equalize a great deal more the circulations, for we increase the circulation through the lower hepatics rather than so much through the upper portion of the body; and this should gradually of itself overcome these tendencies for the filling up here. This is more from weakness, you see, in the muscular forces of the body, than of organic disorders. So that, as we find, the reflexes to all portions of the system - and the circulation becoming more equalized in the various activities and the muscular forces or tendon forces in the nerve supply becoming more uniform in their activity - will create more uniformity in the pulsation.
13. (Q) Why does milk in any form cause gas and distress? (A) From those indications that we have given, in the gastric juices in the system, you see.
14. (Q) What would be temporary relief from the sudden attacks of pain in the back? (A) Saturated solution of Epsom Salts hot packs.
15. (Q) Should we continue the use of Milk of Bismuth and Pepsin? Magnesia? (A) These should be continued, for we need to absorb the poisons. You see, these are the active principles: The Magnesia is a laxative to the gastric juices of the lover portion of the digestive system. The Milk of Bismuth is an absorbent, and would be HARD on the body activity alone, for it would tend to form clots that are hard upon the condition through the jejunum, you see, producing pains that - well, the front and back are so close together, he wouldn't know whether it was in front or in back? These, though, with the Pepsin, make for the activities of the juices in the assimilating forces, or the activity of the circulation being more in accord with the lacteal juices in the circulation. These should be kept AT PERIODS. Not that the body becomes to depend upon same, but that the assistance is necessary. Take it for two or three days at a time, then

rest three or four days, then take it again, see? Carried in this way and manner the system adjusts itself to the activities and creates these influences and forces in the body itself from that assimilated. Do these and, as we find, we will bring the better conditions for this body of [556].
16. (Q) In mixing the milk and egg, should the whole egg be used or just the yolk? (A) The yolk, and not so much of the milk more of the spirits frumenti and only enough to make it a palatable drink, you see.
17. (Q) Could any other tonic be substituted for the Ventriculin? (A) Could eat blood puddings, or liver, or pigs' feet, or tripe; all of these may be put together if it is so desired. These will be much slower; they will not carry as much of the iron, but MORE of those things in some forms that will be more easily assimilated. You see, these are the juices of these very portions of the animal fat (in the Ventriculin) that are assimilated by the system; and if these are used in their regular state, of course, this should supply then at least one meal each day from either tripe, liver, pigs' feet or the like, see? And when the pigs' feet, eat ONLY the gristle force, not fat!
18. (Q) How would they be prepared? (A) Roast.
