Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
2. While conditions show some improvement, they are still rather serious.
3. As we find in the present, we would continue with counter-irritants; or those applications to the feet.
4. We would apply the Castor Oil Packs over the abdomen and lower portion of stomach again, after which we would begin with the Fletcher's Castoria; half a teaspoonful every thirty minutes until there is full elimination through the alimentary canal. Don't give it oftener, but give it consistently. Even though it may require a large size bottle, this we would give until there is not only one movement but GOOD eliminations through the alimentary canal.
5. It would be well that the fruit juices be given almost frozen, and a very, very little at the time. Not gulps or gobs, or large quantities, but sips; these will agree with the body and make for a strengthening. Continue with the beef juices, for they are strengthening, but just a sip; half a teaspoonful two or three hours apart.
6. For those conditions of the head, and the tendencies for swelling there, use a counter-irritant on the SMALL of the neck; or from the shoulders (3rd and 4th cervical) to the 1st cervical. Bathe or paint the body there with the solution of Laudanum and Aconite, then apply the Epsom Salts Packs. This should take away the irritations from those portions of the face.
7. Doing these, we find the body should respond more quickly.
8. The body is still very weak, and unless we start the eliminations we may find congestions setting up somewhere in the system.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) Is the body responding to treatments as he should? (A) Responding somewhat to the treatments.

11. (Q) Are all the treatments being given properly? (A) Do not give QUANTITIES of the fruit juices; just a sip often is much more preferable than even giving a big swallow, you see.
12. (Q) How may the terrible pain in head be relieved? (A) As indicated, the counter-irritant on the back of the neck should relieve the pain. Also the massaging of the bottoms of the feet with that compound suggested, and rubbing from the lower limbs and knees downward with same, should aid in reestablishing better circulation. And then, of course, the eliminations being set up by the absorbing of the Castoria in small quantities will make for resting better - and a quieting of the body.
13. (Q) Will this relieve him, so it won't be necessary to take the codeine? (A) It should.
14. (Q) Should any other food besides the juices be given now? (A) The juices of fruits, the beef juices; ANY that are almost predigested are very well to be given.
15. (Q) Should the Olive Oil still be continued? (A) Not with the Castoria. This would begin again a little later, but not while the Castoria is being given.
16. (Q) Should all other treatments suggested be continued? (A) Other treatments would be continued.
17. (Q) Was the condition caused or aggravated by the electrical treatments from Dr. Frischkorn? [Carl S. Frischkorn, N.D.] (A) Electrical treatment was not so well, for this tended to separate under the blood condition - rather than making for the congealing and coagulations through the body. These are not so well.
18. (Q) Any other suggestions? (A) These we would do in the present.
19. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [2470] - Special Delivery " " Ass'n file (GD's note: Mrs. [2470], if you get this in time tonight, I would suggest that you apply the Castor Oil Packs for two or three hours. Then tomorrow morning the first thing begin with the Castoria as indicated, giving it all day, into the evening until he goes to sleep, and even all next day if necessary. It would take at least two full days, I think, to take up a large size bottle, following the dosage suggested. Let us hear.)
