1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [559]. Now, we find there are conditions abnormal that are disturbing the physical functioning of the body. These have to do with specific conditions existent in the physical forces, and those disturbances as arise from same are rather of the effect, or the result of affectation. In the general forces of the system little may be seen as disturbs the body, but as to conditions as are gradually being produced in the nerve system, in the assimilating system, in the eliminating, as far as the COORDINATION of elimination is concerned, THESE are the disturbed conditions. These are they that are suffering from this distortion, in the form of THREAD worms [GD's note: Threadworm or Oxyuris [pinworm] - later called Enterobius vermicularis.] in the system.

2. The effect as is produced:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this, as seen, is at times abnormal in the pressure, in the temperature, in the numbers of red and white blood distributing.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find GREATER distortions, for the mucus producing portion of the system, or the lymph producing portion is being disturbed - distorted, even - in its activity in various portions of the system, as is seen in the activity at times of kidneys, in the activity of the soft tissue in nose, in mouth, in throat, the excess in the respiratory system, the restlessness of the body at times, the subnormal quietness of the body at others. These are effects as are produced in the nerve systems, from the vegetative, from the central nerve system, and from the supplies to the various portions of the body THROUGH which eliminations are controlled by the suggestions, whether auto, or voluntary, or involuntary reactions in same.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING ORGANS, these results are rather those of distortion at times in their activity, at others subnormal - affected only by the result of sympathetic reaction with distresses produced in same.

6. Then, to meet the needs at the present time we would prepare first a compound as of this:

7. This may be carried in any of the pepsin carriers, or may be BETTER prepared in that of the wild cherry pectol solution, or prepare as this:

8. Take 2 ounces of Wild Cherry Bark, put in 6 ounces of distilled water. Reduce by slow simmering to 1/2 the quantity. Strain while warm, adding to same 1/2 ounce of grain alcohol. Then add: Syrup Of Ipecac.....................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Squill.....................1/4 ounce, Iodide of Potassium, 10% solution....40 minims, Bromide of Potassium, 10% solution...10 minims. Also add 1/4 ounce Tincture Stillingia. (That as an active force with the digestive system.)

9. Shake solution well together before the dosage is taken. The dose would be 2 to 3 drops 3 to 4 times each day.

10. We would also begin with the gentle massage all over the whole system, especially those centers in the upper dorsal, the cervical, and across the locomotaries. These we should give each day.

11. We would also apply those rays of the ultra violet. ESPECIALLY should all FOODS as given the body has more than ordinary quantity of the ultra violet treatments of same. The foods should be at first rather those of the pre-digested foods, well balanced with those of the vegetable juices - green - and prepared or cooked - that are OF the ALKALIN reaction.

12. Do this and we will find the trouble disappearing, and in twenty to twenty-seven days a near normal condition to this body, [559].

13. (Q) Can this massage be given by the mother, or should it be given osteopathically? (A) SHOULD be osteopathically.

14. (Q) Why does she jump in her sleep? (A) If you had something gnawing your insides, you'd jump too!

15. (Q) What causes the intestinal gas? (A) This is sufficient to cause most ANY sort of gas! which is the improper digestive forces going on, see? The sodas, the bromides, and these active forces - Ipecac and those of the carrier and the stimuli as given - is to rid this in the system. The pre-digested foods are given that these may be assimilated by the body, as to start the proper rebuilding as these are being eliminated.

Would be well that the colon occasionally be cleansed, until these properties and the assimilation of the forces as are loosened by the manipulation are active within this body. This should be preferably with the douches of oil, see? using the Russian White Oil or Usoline. Small quantity of this will be sufficient to cleanse the colon.

16. (Q) Would it be harmful for her to cry herself to sleep? (A) It would be very, very, unmindful of the condition as is disturbing, at least!

17. (Q) What was the obscure spot in her lungs during her illness last April? (A) We find little, if any, there - only the reflection of distortions through the respiratory system at present. Last April (mumbled over months, going back) - foreign substance as had been taken into the system by those of inhalations. This caused the distortion or trouble in the lung, thrown about - and portion of it thrown out - only a reflection of it in the respiratory system at present.

18. (Q) Are her lungs normal at present? (A) Normal for the condition existent - not normal for the body!

19. (Q) What special precautions should be taken to prevent colds and another illness? (A) Do as we have given.

20. (Q) Just what is meant by the foods being treated with the ultra violet? (A) These, as we have given, are those that are exposed to an excessive amount of heat, or those that may be treated with the ultra violet rays before food is given - just exposed to heat rays. Breaks up the units of ENERGY in a different activity in the system. We are through for the present. Copy to Parents " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " Dr. Grace C. Berger (D.O.)
