Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Darien, Conn.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In locating the place - "Brookside Road - it winds around - Edith [566] [Notice that the rdg. gave her a first name of "Edith." See Life Rdg. 566-1.].

3. Yes, we have the body, [566]; this we have had before.

4. There are many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here.

5. These, however, are disturbing conditions as we find them in the present:

6. Through an unbalancing in the chemical reaction in the assimilating forces of the body, there has come an incoordination between the eliminating channels. This, combined with some diets that have produced some acidity in the blood stream, has caused a character of effluvium in the lymph circulation that finds expression in an irritation to the superficial circulation - or in the form of rash and pimples, and the irritation over portions of the body.

7. Naturally, with such conditions, those centers or portions of the body also suffer that attempt to regulate or govern such - as the centers from which greater quantities of lymph activities are apparent; for instance, the tonsils, the mucous membranes in face and head. Also there is a lack of the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal.

8. Then, there is a torpidity in the liver; also a lack of the proper amount of secretions through the gall duct.

9. These are the disturbing conditions as we find them with this body at the present time.

10. We would administer some three to four series of a good elimination with any properties that have a senna base; as Castoria (Fletcher's) or Syrup of Figs, or a combination of these - equal combination. Take a quarter to half a teaspoonful every hour; preferably a quarter teaspoonful every thirty minutes, during a whole day - and even part of the next day if necessary.

11. After these properties have acted well, then give a good dose of Sal Hepatica - as a mineral alkaline to flush the system - that is, after the senna properties series is completed.

12. Then each evening for at least three to four days, or even a week or more, when ready to retire, massage the spine with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. Melt the mutton tallow, then add the other ingredients - in the order named; say a tablespoonful of each, but make up sufficient to massage into the body all that will be absorbed. Preferably do this following the bath, and then just dry off any oils not absorbed by the body. These rubs, of course, should extend especially over the areas of the kidneys AND the lower portions of the back, as well as throughout the upper part - but especially over the liver - that is, at the 9th dorsal, and from there down - but up also, see? just what the body will absorb, but use the whole quantity that the body will absorb.

13. After doing this for at least three to four days, or perhaps a week, start all over again; that is, begin with the Castoria, then give the Sal Hepatica, then the series of rubs again.

14. Continue these for at least three to four series.

15. As to the diet for the body through these periods:

16. Refrain from sweets; candies, cookies, cakes or the like.

17. Do not take any drinks, either, that have carbonated water. These would be upsetting to the digestive forces, and especially the liver - through such a period.

18. Cereals, plenty of milk, eggs - preferably the yolk rather than the white; a little bacon, any of these may be taken at the morning meal.

19. Have one meal during each day when some quantity of RAW vegetables would be taken; especially carrots, celery, lettuce and the like. Alter these as to their preparation - that is, sometimes grated, sometimes sliced - so as to make for better palatability for the body, also aiding in better assimilation from same.

20. Fish, fowl or lamb may be taken, of course, but not fried. No fried foods.

21. Do these and, as we find, we will make for better conditions of this body.

22. As soon as these conditions are clarified, we find that some attention will need to be given to the tonsils. However, these acting as scavengers for such conditions (we might say), we would not operate as yet; unless through this

period in attempting to take care of the conditions they have become so involved as to become destructive forces in themselves. Hence, after these administrations are made as we have outlined here, we would have the tonsils examined and their present state then indicated. Should it become necessary to remove the tonsils, then remove the adenoids too (and this we would do osteopathically, by an osteopathic surgeon). But we would have the examinations made for such AFTER these applications here indicated have been followed (unless, of course, acute conditions were to arise); for if all these things are done it will aid in making better adjustments through the system.

23. If these will be done, we find that there will be better conditions for the body.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) Any local application recommended for the rash, until the condition is corrected? (A) Any powder with stearate of zinc and balsam.

26. We are through for the present. Copy to Parents " " Ass'n file (GD's note: Johnson & Johnson make a stearate of zinc powder - you may have to get the druggist to add the balsam.) .)
