1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here - keep still now. [See 578-12, Par. R1.]

3. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Should any treatment be given, osteopathic or otherwise, for female condition? (A) As we find, those that will keep up the general eliminations by setting up drainages are well. These osteopathic, then, about once a week, or once in ten days. But we would apply once or twice a day the Glyco-Thymoline Packs over the ovarian area and over the pubic center. This also will tend to dissipate. For, unless this is dissipated and taken up in the circulation (which will require that there be a great deal of rest for the body), these will necessarily accumulate and cause temperature. And if temperature arises from it, operative measures will be necessary. But setting up drainages by the osteopathic treatments, and allaying the disturbance with the Packs, we should be able to dissipate the condition. This doesn't mean that heat should be applied with the Packs, necessarily; but if the body is given just a warm bath over those areas, even sponged off, before the Packs are applied, it will be better. The douches should be continued, but we would alternate these; one day using the Glyco-Thymoline, the next day the Atomidine. Use only a small quantity of the Atomidine, that there be no irritation - but this will keep down irritation. To a quart and a half of water, use about half to three-quarters teaspoonful of the Atomidine.

5. (Q) Is it well to take knee-chest position or bicycle exercise now? (A) The bicycle exercise now is not too strenuous, if not overdone. The chest position is most too strenuous. The

bicycle position, or working, is very good - if not too strenuous, though.

6. (Q) Is there danger of cancer from the condition existing in the pelvic area? (A) This depends on how much disintegration takes place, and how well the inflammation is eliminated that has been caused there. Not necessarily.

7. (Q) Please give in detail what has caused the hearing to go bad? (A) The very inflammation, or forms of inflammation in the pelvic region, tends to work on the auditory forces - or the nerves of the sensory system. And as the weakness of this body has been in those inclinations of the auditory system, the reflex action is found in same. The finger surgery as we have indicated, if repeated, would be better. Whether this will be entirely relieved or not will depend upon the general conditions of the body. But wait until the other treatments for the pelvic condition are completed, or until the condition there is much bettered. Wait until there is at least no chance of inflammation. This is considering that the body responds to these applications, see? If the body responds, then we will find the conditions improving. If it doesn't, we will find temperature and accumulations, and a segregation, and it'll mean operation. But not before the operation, or not before the pelvic condition clears, would we begin the finger surgery - or the treatments for the hearing. These should be done, of course, by Richardson. [M. L. Richardson, D.O.]

8. (Q) Has the body responded to treatments as last indicated? (A) The body has responded. That's why we have suggested that the condition might be dissipated. Do those things outlined.

9. (Q) What caused the distress in head and face immediately after getting a cold wave permanent a few weeks ago? (A) Most of this comes from the imaginative forces. But naturally so much of the use of cold about the head caused a greater flow of the circulation there, and this caused a general pressure - upon the whole of the nervous system, especially the sympathetic - as the suggestion passes through the sympathetic and imaginative influences.
