Time of Reading 10:20 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [600].

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functionings of the body. These in many ways, as we find, are effects; for which the applications have been made, rather than the causes, for the causes are from a subluxation that exists in the cerebrospinal system. And portions of the body have been clogged, and the functioning of organs affected in a manner that these have at times been taken for the causes. So, the applications for relief have made only temporary changes. These conditions, as we find, affect particularly the circulatory system as related to the sensory - or the sympathetic sensory - system.

3. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [600] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY varies at different times. At times the metabolism is not so good. At others there little distress found in same. This is, as we find, the effect of the specific disturbances that are seen.

5. In the NERVE SYSTEM, here we find - as indicated - a great deal of the trouble, though much of this is from irritations produced in functioning portions of the system; causing periods when there is the hazy condition and the temperamental reactions, with a general disorder; or the desires often come for the changes that are not always possible to be made.

6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS THEMSELVES, as we have indicated, there is a subluxation; which exists in the 9th to 12th dorsal, and produces these effects from the nature of the pressures that is produced there in the functioning organs; this being in the area from which there is the supply in the greater part to the kidneys and the activity of the lower hepatic circulation. Then this

600-1 Page 2

affects these through the tubes that are clogged by the lack of flow of circulation for cleansing in the system. For, this system is one of those through which certain poisons - especially related to certain characters of activity in the system - cause the dilation in the bladder and prostate area, making for irritations there. This in sympathy with the direct connecting pressures to the glands about the kidney - or the adrenals - causes a disturbance in the activity of the lacteal ducts. When these are under stress or strain it is as the improper timing of circulation through the hepatics, producing headaches of a specific nature; making for a fullness in a sympathetic gland in the activity of the circulation of lymph through the head, the throat, and the nasal passages experience a fullness that comes from this attempt of the body to function through when as has been indicated - there is the timing of the circulation. Hence at times (and this is a very good proof) we find there would be at least three counts difference in the circulation to the head and the circulation to the lower extremities. At others we will find it near normal, as we have indicated. But at such periods we would find the tiredness, the fagged feeling from too full activity to the head itself, with an irritation in the bladder and kidney area, and the desire for activity of the urinary canal - producing such a heaviness there that it becomes as a reaction in irritations.

7. The subluxation, as indicated, exists in the area from the 9th to the 12th dorsal; and with the correction of same, with the keeping of the balance in the system for the recurrent reaction through the system, we would find we would bring the normal conditions for this body.

8. Then, in meeting the needs of same:

9. First we find that we would have the adjustments and manipulations PARTICULARLY in the area as indicated - the 9th to 12th dorsal; corrections, with general massage in the locomotary area - that is, the lumbar, the cervical, and especially in the brachial plexus area, and the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, so that not only the superficial but the internal circulation is made to coordinate. These we would take at least once to four times each week, dependent upon the necessity of keeping the balance.

10. We would also, to force the activities in the area where congestion has existed and does exist in the kidney and prostate area, have the sinusoidal vibration - preferably a very low voltage, making the anode contacts as follows: The positive would be attached in the 12th dorsal area. The other would be attached in the ducts or glands of the

600-1 Page 3

lacteal area, or just above the gall duct area in the right side. This would be for not more than three to five minutes in the beginning.

11. Also, for the activity that is needed in these directions, we would take a compound prepared in this manner:

12. To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add - in the order they are given: Tincture of Stillingia..............1/2 ounce, Syrup or Essence of Buchu leaves.....20 minims, Podophyllin (may be in powder)......1/2 grain, Essence of Lactated Pepsin............1 ounce. The dose would be a teaspoonful three times each day, being taken after each meal so that the properties may assimilate with the foods.

13. Be mindful that there is not the exercise in too heavy lifting, or wrenching too much the lower portion of the spinal system - or the lumbar area.

14. Keep these up for three to four weeks, and we should be near normal.

15. For the nasal condition it would be well that there be the local applications used, through the inhalants that will purify the tissue and act as an antiseptic. Such an inhalant would be prepared in this manner:

16. To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, in a 6 ounce container that has a glass stopper, we would add: Eucalyptol...........................20 minims, Rectified Creosote....................3 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.................5 minims, Tincture of Benzoin..................15 minims, Tolu in solution.....................20 minims. When this is to be used, shake the solution together and inhale into the nostril. This will be found to be palliative and will prevent the FULLNESS in the face and the throat.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) How often should the sinusoidal treatment be given? (A) About three times a week.

19. (Q) How should the adjustments along the spine be made? (A) So that they are made to coordinate in both their lateral and longitudinal after effects, you see. They should be made from (from the posterior) the left to the right.

600-1 Page 4

20. (Q) Should these be made osteopathically or chiropractically? (A) Osteopathically, as we find; for - as we have indicated coordinate the other centers, especially in the locomotary areas, to relieve this pressure in the system.

21. (Q) Why are my conscious and subconscious minds continuously working? (A) As has been indicated, from the pressures that are seen in the system - that have produced, and do produce, the effect. The pressure is on the sympathetic or the sensory systems, which are the activities of the subconscious forces; and the conscious forces are through the cerebrospinal system. So this makes for a continual combativeness one with another, and dreams or visions even in the waking state.

22. (Q) Is there any special diet recommended? (A) As would be indicated from the disorders in the kidneys and the prostates, any of those things that tend to make for more of the activities to CLEANSE the system are the better; that is, LACK of acids in ANY of the diet. [Which would mean to eliminate meats, sweets and starches. GD.]

23. (Q) Would you advise relaxing or continuing to take treatment and continue working with Reilly in N.Y.? [Harold J. Reilly, Ph.T.] (A) We would relax for two to three weeks, as we have indicated, WITH these adjustments being made and these properties taken to act with the elements of the system - giving them time to work; and THEN go to work and you'll WORK then - and not be wondering about everything else!

24. (Q) Would a Radio-Active Appliance be beneficial? (A) Of course, the Radio-Active Appliance is beneficial to EVERYBODY, as we have given. Such applications would be more to KEEP a balance. Preferably use the Radio-Active appliance AFTER the sinusoidal has dilated those activities to the system, you see; that is, after a two week period of using the sinusoidal, then use the Radio-Active for the creating of a balance; and always make the first connection for the Radio-Active to the ankle first rather than to the wrist, on opposite sides of the body - for, as we have indicated, the pressure is towards the head and the fullness, while the dullness is toward the feet. See?

25. (Q) What makes me breath heavy? (A) This has been indicated. A sympathetic condition in the activity of the mucous membranes or the lymph circulation to the head in the brachial area. A sympathetic condition.

26. (Q) What makes me so constipated, and what will relieve this condition?

600-1 Page 5

(A) The Podophillin in those properties to be compounded will take care of this condition. This is because of the lack of circulation in the lacteal duct area, and by the dilating of same through the activities to the adrenals (about the kidneys, you see) we will also aid this circulation to be more in accord with normalcy, creating then the peristaltic movement or lymph circulation through the intestinal system with the inclination - through the properties to be taken - to aid in balancing this condition. Do these, and - as we find - we will bring the normal condition to this body in three to four weeks. Do that.

27. (Q) What causes rectum soreness? (A) The inflammation to the glands and the activity or slowness through the intestinal system. This will disappear with the use of those properties and conditions as we have outlined.

28. (Q) What doctor would you advise to make the adjustments? in the spine? (A) Reilly would make the adjustments!

29. (Q) Should I exercise as hard as I have in the past, or relax more? (A) As we have indicated, exercise is good, just so there isn't lifting or wrenching of the back.

30. (Q) Would it be advisable to stay in the city or at the farm? (A) Where you can relax more. At the farm. [H. J. Reilly's SUN AIR FARM, Oak Ridge, N.J.] For if you are in the city you go out nights!

31. (Q) Is it possible to keep on working? (A) It's possible, but as we have indicated, it would be better to relax until the corrections have been made and until the body has ADJUSTED itself to the changes that will be created by the medicinal properties as well as the sinusoidal - dilation treatments. Working irritates same, you see, and then it would take much longer - and the after effects would not be so well.

32. (Q) Am I overweight? (A) Somewhat; but this may adjust itself much better with the proper circulation throughout the system.

33. (Q) Should my desire for sex be answered, in my present condition? (A) No. Strain on the system, and such activity will make for a stress rather than an aid to the body. The STRENGTH is needed in making for the balancing of the body.

34. (Q) Should I continue driving a car, or relax? (A) Short drives are very good; long drives, don't do it!

600-1 Page 6

that is, in DRIVING, because it makes a pressure in the lumbar and lower dorsal area, by the tension that is kept there.

35. (Q) What gives me the sensation of being fearful? (A) The very fact that there is the pressure on those centers where the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems are involved, affecting the sympathetic or subconscious - and the consciousness. This of itself creates an ABNORMAL pressure in the nerve system, and hence expresses itself in this manner. Do these, as we have outlined, and we will bring for this body a normal condition.

36. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for H. J. Reilly) Copy to Ass'n file (GD's note: If you experience any trouble getting the prescriptions filled, we can recommend several druggists who have filled prescriptions for us. Let us hear. We would like to have a report from Dr. Reilly as to what he find, and the results. Your check-reading we are setting for next Thursday morning, July 5th, between 10:30 and 11:30 o'clock Eastern Standard Time. You are to remain quiet, and seeking, giving us the exact address at which you will be. Ask the definite question as to how the subluxation was produced, and any other questions that Reilly may want to know after beginning the treatments. Also enclosed article on Life Readings.)
