Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [601]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions are very good in many respects. There are still inclinations for the effects from the lack of the eliminations, owing to the necessity of such quantity (or such a large area) of the reproduction of tissue, owing to the injury, the shock to the nervous system and all. [See daughter's ltr. 3/17/38 under 601-29 Reports in re cancer of vagina.]

3. Hence we have those effects in the muscular forces and in the tendon ends for pressure from poor eliminations, or neuritic condition, or neuritis, or nerve pressure from poisons in the system.

4. As we find, we would use the hydrotherapy treatments, or the sweat baths with thorough rubdown, some two or three of these; taking the precautions as to the eliminations and the general activities for the diet kept toward the alkaline side.

5. Thus we should find not only would this be beneficial and remove the causes of this acute pain in shoulder, elbow, arms at times, but aid better in correcting the conditions that arise from the accumulations to the disturbances through those periods of menstruation - or during the menopause period.

6. These as we find are the better for the body.

7. Occasionally, to be sure, the osteopathic manipulations will make for creating or bringing a balance in the body, removing that little disturbance for headaches or nervous reaction.

8. These we find are the better conditions for this body.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) How close together should the sweats be taken? (A) A week or ten days apart.

11. (Q) The menstrual period has been lessening. Should the Gin preparation be continued?

601-21 Page 2

(A) This will be well, with the sweats also; that is, continue with the Gin preparation to make for the better activity of same with the kidneys and the hepatic circulation; though this may be taken farther and farther part - the doses of same.

12. (Q) Is the pain in my arm due to injury received in auto accident? [See 601-9 on 10/5/35.] (A) As indicated, it is an after effect but is now a neuritic condition or effect. Hence the cleansing of the system would be the better manner for elimination of the causes of disturbance.

13. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) Keep the mental attitude for constructive forces, as these make for a peace and harmony in the experience that may not be had through any material activity; other than that as wrought by the very mental attitudes.
