Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions in many ways are very good. Yet it might be said in the next breath that they are not good. But these are rather, then, the precautions or the inclinations as we find existent with this body in the present:

3. From the lack of full or proper elimination, and the changing activities in the glandular force, and the shock [See 601-22 Background] that has been in the system, there are the tendencies for MUSCULAR forces and tendons over the body to become clogged or choked.

4. Thus we find nerve pressures become as a part of the whole activity, with the feelings to the body more of a little irritation without being able to say there is any PARTICULAR disturbance. Yet it seems to be in most any portion of the body that the disturbance comes at times.

5. These then as we find arise from those very natures of conditions that have been indicated. The lack of proper distribution to the eliminating systems. Now remember, there are more than one channel of elimination! We eliminate through the drosses of the alimentary canal, we eliminate through the activities of the kidneys themselves, we eliminate through the very breath from the body. We eliminate from the activity of the lymph circulation, to the perspiratory system. And if these become clogged, any of these, either of the systems, then the other attempts to - of course - take care of the condition; but to the disturbing of some portion of the system.

6. Hence with the periods of change and activities as going on in the body, precautions should be taken.

7. Here again [As in 480-44 for daughter which rdg. just preceded 601-22] we find one of the very BEST applications for this body would be the use of the sweat cabinets, or fume baths; but alter these for this body. One week use the

601-22 Page 2

Tincture of Iodine, the next week the Oil of Wintergreen - a tablespoonful to half a pint of water, and let this boil out - or let just the fumes settle over the whole of the body. These will be much preferable to going even to a Turkish Bath, or masseurs; but have these done properly for self. Have a rubdown afterwards, of course, with massage, and an alcohol rub after same - of course - always.

8. And these kept up, with the corrections occasionally osteopathically, we will find we will renew a body here almost!

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Should this be rubbed into the body? (A) Rather it would be rubbed OFF of the body! You see, the fumes arise from the properties being put in the water that will be heated or boiled, and the steam settles over the body. It causes a perspiration. You see, the change being wrought is to the respiratory or perspiratory and respiratory system. The fume baths taken in this manner DO NOT affect the deeper circulation, but are to the superficial circulation, see? and it aids in removing these drosses; while the very massage of the body, with the drosses out, aids in keeping the body nearer physically fit. These may be kept as indicated, once a week, twice a month or the like; left off for periods and begun again - and are good for EVERYONE, but PARTICULARLY for this body.

11. (Q) How long should the body stay in the fume bath? (A) As just given, put a tablespoonful of the properties to half a pint of water and let that BOIL OUT! Whether it takes ten minutes, twenty minutes or thirty minutes depends on how hot the bath is and how long it takes the water to boil out.

12. (Q) What can I do for the vaginal discharge? (A) Occasionally the use of an Atomidine douche would be better. The proportions would be half a teaspoonful to a quart of water. Use this whenever there is the feeling of discomfort from the irritations that arise. This may be every day or two for a while, then left off for several days. These are antiseptic properties and yet are not irritating, and - with the external use of those properties indicated for the Fume Baths - will make for a better activity to the system.

13. (Q) What causes dull pain through the lower abdominal area? (A) The pressures or inclinations from poor coordination in the eliminations, and the nerve pressures on same.

601-22 Page 3

With corrections osteopathically given occasionally in the lumbar, through the sacral and lower dorsal areas, as well as the general - and the douches, WITH the Fume Baths - we should correct these conditions.

14. (Q) Should the violet ray vaginal applicator be used? (A) Not in the present.

15. (Q) Should the hydrotherapy treatments be continued? [Sweat baths and thorough rubdowns as indicated in 601-21.] (A) These may be occasionally taken, but as indicated do not confuse these with the Fume Baths. One is a medication and the other is a superficial relaxation of the whole body.

16. (Q) Is there a fibroid condition in the uterus, or the uterus area? (A) There is not. This as we find, as has been indicated, is rather the pressure upon the system through the changes in the activities of the glandular force as related to eliminating systems, see?

17. (Q) Has the menopause been completed, or will there be recurrence of the menstrual period? (A) This as we find will depend more upon the activity and the ability of the body to keep itself at a normal poise physically and mentally. Should there be a severe shock, an overstrain or an activity, this might be brought on to detrimental effects. But with the use of the activities as indicated, there may also be a recurrence of same. But to general purposes, complete. [See 601-17 on 12/26/36 in re flooding, etc.]

18. (Q) Why do I awake so early no matter what time I retire? (A) The nerve pressures upon the superficial and the deeper circulation; NOT coordinating. Watch the difference after you have taken about three of the Fume Baths!

19. (Q) Is there anything to beware of regarding a contemplated trip to Florida during December? (A) Only the precautions in the manner of travel or the like, and any nature that might bring about a disturbance or distress or strain. This as we find, without that, should be most beneficial to all concerned.

20. (Q) Would it be better to go by train? (A) Well, it's better to have the automobile when you are there! So go by auto, but not too fast - slow.

21. (Q) Any special combination to be used to prevent serious results from sunburn? (A) There is no better than plain, pure apple vinegar! Of course, the use of any of the detergents or oils; the Sun Tan Oil, or Unguentine, or any of those applications would be very well. But if proper precautions are taken, there is

601-22 Page 4

none much better than the pure apple vinegar.

22. (Q) Any further advice for this body? (A) Keep that attitude that has been and is being builded. Such attitudes are commendable, especially to the daughter of the king! [See her Life Rdg. 601-2 and M/S Rdg. 601-11.]
