Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there is not the response to the applications as should have been or might have been expected; but there is a more violent inflammation through the areas where the disturbances have arisen - in the vagina, through the activities or pressures upon the emptying of the bladder.

3. And as we find, it is and will be necessary to give - under, and only under the direction of the physician - hypnotics or narcotics, that the body may rest. We find that the hypnotic would be the more preferable, but this should be rather the choice of the physician. For under the continued disturbance the racking of the nerve forces is more aggravating than the effects of the sedatives upon the system.

4. Over the areas where there is the hardening, through the lower abdomen and upper portion of the pubic and the bladder area, we would massage gently - not too hard, but gently - with an equal combination of Compound Tincture of Benzoin, Tincture of Myrrh and Pure Olive Oil. Heat the Oil to add the Myrrh, then the Benzoin. Shake the ingredients, because they will tend to separate; and gently massage - this should relieve the excruciating pain and SOFTEN the disturbed or dilated conditions by the inflammation.

5. With and under the direction of the physician - unless there is a GREATER allaying by the use of influences from without - it will be necessary to consider at this time operative forces.

6. Do these.

7. In the matter of the diet - as has been indicated - whatever may be given is very well, provided such as the bulbous nature - as dried beans, peas or the like - are not used as a portion of the diet.

8. Of course, the light wine will tend to make for a better appetite and will not be as hard upon the heart as other stimulants.

9. Also this should be the consideration when making the examination and giving the hypnotics or narcotics; consider the effect of each of these upon the heart's activity - in relation to the whole of the conditions.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Please itemize foods that allay inflammatory conditions? (A) As just indicated, most any of the foods desired may be taken except those of the bulbous natures as indicated.

12. (Q) What other artichoke are there besides Jerusalem and Green California? (A) The Jerusalem, the Green California and the Tubular. Only the Jerusalem variety AND the bulb or the Green are to be eaten by THIS body, but NOT very often.

13. (Q) Can eggs be included in diet? (A) Eggs may be included, especially the yolk.

14. (Q) Are eggnogs recommended with a little cognac? (A) Eggnog with the cognac is very well.

15. (Q) What caused the hardness in lower abdomen? (A) Inflammation; arising from the lack of the segregation or elimination of the forces that produce the inflammatory conditions. These are segregations in the system of energies that are exercising within themselves, or of a bacillus nature. Do these as we find for the better conditions of this body.
