1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions I may ask you regarding this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This, as we find, is in the developing stage, and the general physical condition of the body is good. There are some conditions of which those as direct the development of the body should be warned. There are conditions that to other bodies might be abnormal, but to this body they are normal. Not that physical defects exist, but development OF conditions for the body is normal FOR THE BODY, see? for in development in the physical there are many various conditions to be considered; for, as we find, blood supply is good, but carrying scarcely sufficient of silicon or of iron. Then add, in the foods for the body, that which will supply same to the body.

3. IN THE NERVE SYSTEMS, these are good. The body, however, is high strung, and care should be taken that the body is never scared, nor (in guiding properly) should there ever be told anything to the body that would tend to mis-direct the mental forces towards a nerve reaction. Do not threaten - either in act, or do not tell the child so!

4. IN THE PHYSICAL FORCES OF THE BODY, the brain forces above normal.

5. The sensory system normal.

6. The lungs and the throat and bronchials are good.

7. In the heart's action normal.

8. Digestion at the present good. This should be followed close, and see that there is not overtaxing to the body in the development.

9. The warning then is of that as regarding the digestion, and of the nervous system, and the directing of same, and of

adding to the body - [608] we are speaking of - properties in food carrying the silicon and iron.

10. Add, then, in the food, those properties as would be found in Mellin's Food, keeping the child in the sun and the sand as much as possible. Not in the sun wherein there may be too much reflection to injure the eyes, but in the evening, in the morning, or in the subdued sunlight. Much baths of this is well. Do that. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What foods may be given the child besides the Mellin's Food? (A) Any foods that are of easy digestion. Tomato juice - especially that of canned tomatoes, that are canned good. Tomato juice or soups that are with beans, peas, tomatoes, potatoes. Celery soup may be given when properly prepared - not with lot of fat meat in any - but any of those conditions that supply the proper building to the body are well for the body. Well for the body to cut teeth on carrots, or parsnips (raw, see?) - these may be given, just so chunks are not cut off and swallowed too much. Lettuce, celery - any of these raw may be given, as much as eaten by the developing child, see? Not prepared in any special way and manner, but as may be taken in small quantity by the one using same.

12. (Q) Why are the teeth long in coming through? (A) Nothing wrong! They're coming alright! Lack of silicon in the body making it drawn out in this, but they are developing alright - they are here.

13. (Q) Should the mother continue to nurse the baby? (A) Continue through the better part of the summer, see? until the stomach and eye teeth show better development. We are through.
