Time of Reading 11:55 to 12:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [619]; this we have had before.

2. While we find there are improvements in some directions from that which has been indicated, where the excesses of toxic forces through the digestive and eliminating forces of the body have been relieved to a great extent, except for the acute conditions that arose in the muscular forces of the extremities, we find that the applications were not carried far enough to eliminate the causes of those pressures produced in the lower lumbar - or in the upper brachial plexus, to prevent at times the reoccurrence of the catches that occur in the shoulders and arms, especially in the left portion of same.

3. So, there are periods of an irritation, as it were, to the exterior portion of the circulation in the lower extremities, or the catches in the hip and in the knee, and in the ends of the muscular forces from the under portion of knee to the thigh - on the right side.

4. Hence, not that we would make for the greater quantity of eliminations being produced through the alimentary canal, but if there would be removed those pressures first in the coccyx end of the muscular forces, as related to the branch end of the cerebrospinal system, and coordinate the coccyx plexus and the 4th lumbar plexus, then we would find that we would bring to the lower portion of the body a nearer NORMAL condition.

5. And with those corrections in the brachial center occasionally, with those cares regarding the activities in the physical forces of the body, we would bring the better conditions for the body and prevent disturbances that may arise in other directions from tending toward toxic forces in the body at times.

6. Then, we would use the periods of the deep manipulations; but we would find these would be much preferable, much more helpful, if there are the periods of the sweats and the rubdowns occasionally also - possibly the day before the manipulations are given. Cabinet sweats, as may be had, and a salt rub or the pine oil rub. These will be found to be MOST helpful.

7. Do that.

8. Those would be taken, as we find, once or twice a month; while the osteopathic adjustments in the areas indicated once a week should be sufficient. Take for three to four weeks, rest three to four weeks, and then take again. Don't stop TOO soon. But eliminate the causes, and we will find the reactions will be most satisfactory.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) What causes, and what will relieve, the itching on the lower right leg? (A) This, as indicated, is the effect of the pressure in the coccyx and the lower lumbar area, from the lack of the proper circulation through the extremities. Hence there is caused a slowing of circulation, and the effect of the body not throwing off through the perspiratory system its proportion of the eliminations. Hence the use of the sweats to increase the activity in the superficial circulation, in the capillaries. And these, with the stimulation from the deeper centers through the osteopathic treatments, would bring the better conditions. Do these.

11. (Q) What should be done for the tired feeling? (A) The tired feelings are the result of toxic forces. Hence those applications as indicated would relieve these conditions.

12. (Q) In order to take the sweats in the cabinet, must he stay away all night? (A) Not necessary. These may be taken in the hydrotherapy places that may be had. Or it is not necessary for the baths where they go into the steam so much, but the cabinet sweats - and a thorough rubdown with the salt rum and a general massage, which has nothing to do with the corrections osteopathically. Hence the rubs would be taken once to twice a month, or three times a month; while the osteopathic treatments would be taken once a week. Do these.

13. (Q) Any further advice for the general welfare? (A) Keep that helpful, hopeful attitude of optimism - which is the best medicine!
