1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [620].

2. Now, as we find, there are rather complications of conditions in the physical forces of this body. While there are specific disturbances, the effect of these upon the nervous system and the general demean of the body is very apparent. There are also other complications that are contributory causes to some disorders.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [620], we are speaking of:

4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY there are indications of a character of disturbance in the glands of the body. And this through its activity makes for a strain, or a drain, upon the blood supply through its overactivity in the thyroids. Thus there is produced a form of disturbance that excites the whole nervous system in many ways, drawing on the blood supply, producing the lack of the proper secretions and activity in other organs; thus forming impoverishment there, in a manner.

5. This, as we find, is indicated in the organs of the digestion and the activities in the MENTAL abilities of the body at times. Not a mental derangement, but an irritation to the mental activities; causing or producing a form of nervousness that racks the mental efficiency of the body.

6. The NERVOUS SYSTEM: As indicated, such a strain upon the glands produces the taking from the proper distribution of the formations in cuticle, formations in nails, formations in hair. All of these to the nervous system become rather an irritation, in the ENDS of the nerves, through impoverishment to them - the improper amount of flow to these portions of the system.

7. As to the ORGANS of the system, we find:

8. Brain forces, as indicated, are very good; yet stress is kept through an impoverished circulation, both as to gland activity and as to blood supply.

620-2 Page 2

9. The activities of the organs of the sensory system are rather supersensitive.

10. In the throat, bronchi, larynx - as we have indicted about those activities of the throat - we find a superficial activity of the glands, from the lack of the proper balance between the potassiums and the iodides in the system. Hence these are increased in the activity of the glands themselves.

11. The lungs, the heart's action - these we do not find disturbed other than sympathetically. And when we have created for the body a more normal activity of the glands of the system, especially as related to the thyroids, we will bring for the body a much nearer normal respiration and pulsation and pressure in the heart's activity.

12. Digestive system disturbed at times, both by the nervous conditions of the system and the natural reaction from the insufficient supply of blood forces to portions of the body at times for the proper assimilations of the food.

13. Also we find upsets at times from complications arising from inflammation in the organs of the pelvis and the genitive system. These, as we find, are as a SYMPATHETIC system condition, both to the nerve forces in the secreting of the glands and the conditions in the pelvic organs are of themselves a reaction in the system - and are separate from the glands' reaction in the system, yet they are coordinant - or AFFECT one another; making for an acidity and an activity in the kidneys that, with the inflammation that arises, has produced in the puba and in the organs of the system itself, and the vagina, irritations that make for a bearing down through the lower portions of the pelvis at times; disturbance at times even to the lower limbs arising from this, as also the effects to the digestive system and the poor eliminations from the alimentary canal. These are from those disturbances in the thyroid and in the adrenals.

14. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body of [620], we are speaking of.

15. In meeting the needs of these, we find the present environs and surroundings are well for the body. And it is well to keep the body in the open as much as practical or possible, and to use the sands and the sea and the SUN as a portion of the treatments for the body will be the most beneficial conditions for the body - with as few clothes as may be worn in taking the baths, for the resuscitating of the activities in the superficial circulation - that is naturally impoverished by the drain upon the system from those conditions both in the pelvic system and in the thyroid glands. Of course, this portion of the treatment

can be OVERDONE; so it should be gone about rather in a systematic manner. Do not remain so long in the sun and in the sands and in the open air as to work for a hardship; for these becoming too fastly acted upon would only produce other disturbances that would be as hard to combat as these conditions. See?

16. We would, then, have a period of one to two hours each day in the open; then other periods rather in the SEMI-shade and sun - or in the light but rather in the shade, see? and these would be taken rather as piecemeals; that is, in the sun proper.

17. Also we would begin by taking Atomidine internally (atomic iodine) in the system, in this way and manner: Each day for five days take one minim before the morning meal, and one minim before retiring - in half a glass of water. On the sixth day take two drops or minims morning and evening, for five days. Then leave off five days. Then begin with one minim (as before) morning and evening, and increase each day one minim until five minims are being taken morning and evening. Then leave off for another week or five days, see? Then begin again with the one minim for five days. Then leave off again; and begin again as indicated.

18. We would also use Atomidine in the douches, for the irritation in the vagina, about twice each week; a tablespoonful of Atomidine full strength to two gallons of water; though this may not all be used at one time it may be preserved and used again - and this should be used in a tepid state, you see.

19. For the condition with the clitoris, especially (which would not interfere with the douches), we would use - on the clitoris itself, or around the edges of same the combinations found in Iodex; not oftener than about once each week.

20. Each evening we would use the violet ray, with the throat applicator, over the thyroid and the goitre area proper, very lightly, for one minute. Also we would use the bulb applicator of the violet ray from the base of the spine to the base of the brain, or from the end of the spine to the base of the brain - going up and down; not in short strokes but rather LONG strokes - especially on either side of the spinal column, or following more specifically along the area of the sympathetic nerve system; go up on one side and down the other - slow, to be sure, but always the one stroke up and the one stroke down, see?

21. As to the diet, this would be an outline - not that there is to be an EXCLUSION of other things, but this as the

620-2 Page 4

MAIN diet:

22. Mornings - citrus fruit juice or stewed fruits, or fresh fruits; followed by whole wheat toast and a coddled or boiled egg - but do not use the white, ONLY the yolk. Occasionally very crisp bacon may be taken with the egg and toast. Preferably use a cereal drink, as Ovaltine or Sanka coffee.

23. Noons - only green, fresh, raw vegetables. On such a salad may be used mayonnaise or an oil dressing. This may be followed at times, or changed at times, with fruits or the juices of vegetables. Not any meats that are FAT or fat producing. Very little butter should be used, ever. None of those things that are prepared with coconuts, bananas or RAW apples (though a cooked or baked apple may be included in the morning meal at times, if desired).

24. Evenings - preferably well-cooked vegetables; three above ground to one below ground. Seafoods a plenty, of all kinds, are very good for the body. Do not use those activities from beef or swine, at all - do not use these meats. A little lamb occasionally, or fowl, may be taken; but not as a regular diet.

25. These things the body may apply itself, or have applied at home. And we will not only rid the body of these conditions but make for near normalcy throughout.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) What type of exercise should I take? (A) As indicated, the exercise should be as much in the OPEN as is possible. This does not necessarily mean there shouldn't be the social functions or activities, but do not indulge too much in these to the loss of that which may be gained by the surroundings for the recuperative forces to the body.

28. (Q) What causes spells or moods sometimes suffered? (A) As indicated, from both the irritations in the pelvis system or organs and the strain on the nerve system, from those secretions - or lack of secretions for the system, to the glands.

29. (Q) Any further advice for my better welfare? (A) Do these; consistently, persistently, and in six to eight months we should be rid of these conditions.

30. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (10/30/34 GD's note: A booklet on Atomidine was enclosed. A violet ray hand machine may be obtained, with the two applicators mentioned, and used at home. Ask us about anything not understood.)
