Born March 8, 1905, in Elizabeth City, N.C. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [622].

2. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these interpretations are chosen with the intent and purpose to make the information as given a helpful experience for the entity.

3. Thus the using or applying of that as may be given will bring the better understanding, the better comprehension of the continuity of life and the application of the abilities in bringing into the experience of others that which will make for hopefulness in their experience.

4. For as each entity gains the understanding, more and more is there the realization that the purposes for which each soul enters any given experience are to apply the opportunities that are a part of the experience in bringing into the consciousness of others the fact of the continuity of life, and to bring hope and cheer.

5. Hence each will find that the experiences of life are not for self-indulgence, not for self-glory, not for self- aggrandizement; for these only bring heartaches as well as turmoil and strife.

6. And peace is the longing of the soul, and to be at-onement with Creative Forces alone may bring peace in the consciousness of any.

7. In interpreting the records here of the entity, we find astrological aspects as well as material sojourns bring urges latent and manifested in the experience of the entity.

8. The astrological urges are more from the DREAM angle; or the desires innate, the longings; while the material or earthly sojourns bring the emotions.

9. The entity is emotional as well as a dreamer. These then

622-4 Page 2

bring associated influences, and these applied as influences that are constructive or creative may bring the greater hope as well as the greater peace and harmony and contentment in the experience.

10. From Venus we find that making for the love of the beautiful; music, art in any of its phases; the desires oft for associations that in the experiences of many may appear as questionable. For the entity they are either used or abused. As to whether constructive or destructive, in the material or social or any phases of the activities, depends upon the use and the purpose of such associations.

11. In Jupiter we find the benevolent and protective influences; as of activities dealing with groups or masses.

12. Hence as will be found, the experiences of the entity - while individual in nature - will affect, or the activities will have much to do with the lives and the hopes of the many.

13. All the more reason, then, for the entity's having a purposeful life as well as the application in those fields of service or activity in which there may be brought into the experience of the many that as a helpful influence or force.

14. In Uranus we find the extremes.

15. Hence we find the entity, as with most of those who have the desire or the love for the beautiful or the artistic forces, being an extremist. This we find makes oft for those experiences in which others may deem the entity to be very hard-headed and very contrary at times. These are rather definite feelings or impulses in the experiences of the entity.

16. Well that the entity then analyze the emotions that arise in the experiences as may be seen from sojourns in the material plane.

17. In the activities as respecting these, we will find that music or song or the expression of self in any of such fields of relationships with things having to do with the OUTCOME of the earth is a natural urge; though necessitating the influence of individual activity in respect to its use for mankind or in its relationship with same.

18. These as we find are the influences from the astrological aspects. As to whether these become stepping-stones or stumbling-stones in the experience depends upon what the entity does about same.

19. As to the sojourns in the earth, and those that make for a definite urge in the present activities, we find these quite varied - yet a definite urge in the experiences through the emotional forces of the entity in the present.

20. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the early settlings in the land.

21. The entity was among those, it might be said, who were the pioneers; not a native, yet the greater activity was in the lands between what is now Williamsburg and Yorktown. Not as a planter, not as a farmer, but rather as one who aided in the INSTRUCTIONS of those who were in such associations and connections. Not as a minister, yet dealing much with those things pertaining to such activities; aiding especially in the song and in the teachings of those in the early periods; making for associations and connections with the natives of the land.

22. And the entity was among those who first made overtures to the ASSOCIATED activities for exchange of the growth, or tobacco, for women (and there has been quite a barter in the experience of the entity in these relationships throughout the experiences in the earth).

23. In those activities the entity gained and lost, and gained; for while these were misunderstood by many, the intents and purposes were towards the abilities for the growth of the land by the peoples of the own character and nature, the own relationships and blood.

24. Hence we will find in the experience of the entity in the present not a boastfulness so much but rather the considerations of lineage, and those things of such natures; all being a part of the INNATE forces in the experience of the entity in the present. These are will, these are abilities that are well.

25. The name then was James Dunning.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as England, during those periods when there were many of those activities wherein there was the call for the defense of an ideal - or in those periods known as the Crusades.

27. There we find the entity, as would be called in the present, was the father as it were of his own self in the present; for the entity then was in the name Jennings - Inness Jennings.

28. In the experience the entity aroused those for the ideals, for the purposes for which the leaders in the land had prepared - for the journeyings and the trappings; which made for those activities that are innately a portion of the entity's experience.

29. Hence the entity loves a parade; the entity likes those things where there is a show, where there are the activities for an OUTWARD manifestation of that claimed in the innate experience of each.

30. These may be made stumbling-stones, or they may be made

622-4 Page 4

helpful influences. If these are held with an ideal for a purpose, as prompted the experience during that sojourn, THEN they may become building experiences. If they are for the satisfaction of fame or fortune, they will eventually become stumbling-stones in the experience.

31. From those activities in that sojourn we may find much in the present that may be used for helpfulness, especially in that as from the choice and the desires to remain in the way of being active in purposes and ideals.

32. Before that we find the entity was in what is now called the Holy Land, during the experience when the Master walked in the earth.

33. And the entity was among those who were close with many of those who became the disciples, the Apostles. The entity was numbered among the Seventy that were sent for ministering to the needs of the peoples of the land during the Galilean as well as the Judean ministry.

34. There the entity's activities, during the latter portion of its sojourn, were of the greater import. For as we find, the entity joined close with the activities of Barnabas, Paul, Silas, Mark, Luke and Lucius in the ministering. For the entity then was endowed with a voice that made for the CREATING of song service with the ministry and teachings of the disciples, the Apostles. For the entity was acquainted with those activities in the various churches.

35. And there should be the application of self in those directions in the present, by the singing of Psalms; not as of dolefulness but of praise, and the Psalms themselves - ALL of those activities in which there may be depicted either the activities through the Passion or through the Praise as in the Hosannas during the journeys to Jerusalem and throughout the experiences.

36. Thus may the entity, through such an activity, not only bring the arousing of self to the greater abilities in the present but make in the minds of others the experiences of a closer walk with that which is the way, the truth and the light.

37. The name then was Pilos.

38. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called or known as the "city in the hills and the plains, and a portion of the activities from the Persian land."

39. For the entity then was he whom Midias (?) often called for the playing of the harp as well as the songs to make for the driving away of the temperaments of that ruler.

40. But during those periods when the teacher in the "city in the hills and plains" was active in those ways in which there was the drawing upon the better influences of the

622-4 Page 5

many, the entity then - in the name Medean - joined with those ministerings with the teacher Uhjltd in that experience; and BECAME what would be called in the present a nurse or an attendant to those who were ill in body, in mind AND the ministering to those in the periods of service there.

41. In the present from those activities we find the abilities to create friendships, to make for activities in strange places, strange associations, strange connections.

42. If the ideals are held, greater may be the service and use of self in those abilities.

43. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, when there were turmoils and strifes, and those activities which brought about the banishment of the Priest; when there were the Rebellions - both of the Natives and of those who were of the King's own household.

44. There we find the entity was very closely associated with the King, in opposition to the Priest as well as the King's OWN brother who rebelled, and VERY MUCH in opposition to the Natives!

45. Hence we find when there was the restoring of the Priest's activities, the entity withdrew from the active service in the King's associations. And the entity did not join again with those influences of an active service until there were those activities from the entrance of the Atlanteans, when there was brought about more of the Temple service.

46. There we find the voice again was raised in praise, in the abilities to make overtures to and for those who sought the consecrating of body and mind for definite service - which all became a part of the entity's experience in the latter part of that sojourn.

47. The name then was Ip-se-et-el.

48. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:

49. First, analyze thyself. For the powers that are within are of the spirit of truth, if ye will but be directed by same.

50. As to the use of the abilities through the voice; in directing, persuading, tempering the mental influences of others may the greater good, the greater joy, the greater hope come.

51. And as to material activities - if these are desires other than a career in the voice, or with same - dealings with those things as come from the earth's storehouse, or the earth's activities; these are all a portion of the entity's experience.

622-4 Page 6

52. Then, study to show thyself approved with all good conscience towards those things as ye proclaimed during thy activity in the Palestine land.

53. For as He blessed thee in body, in mind, so may ye receive - now, in this experience - those blessings in thy dealing with thy fellow man.

54. For as ye measure to others, so ye serve thy Lord.

55. Ready for questions.

56. (Q) By writing to Somerset House in England, would it be possible to get the needed information to establish my claim as an heir to the Jennings estate in England? (A) Well, this is thine own estate - why not?

57. (Q) What can I definitely do to use my musical ability to increase my material assets? (A) If it's for the purpose of material assets alone, you are already through! If it's for the creating within thine own self and in the minds and hearts of others a desire to know the truth WITHIN, then it may go a LONG way in adding to thy material gains; but these MUST be the RESULTS, NOT the purpose or the cause of thy use of thy voice!

58. (Q) Is radio the best medium of expression for my voice? (A) Eventually; but begin rather with the church choir and the like.

59. (Q) Whom do you suggest for voice instruction? (A) Werrenrath!

60. (Q) How would I contact Werrenrath, or how should I go about it? (A) He is not hard to approach! Just write him - New York! [See Reports 7/11/55 under 622-7.]

61. (Q) Please give me advice that will be helpful to me and others concerning my interest in musical education in schools? (A) This as we find is a part of thy own experience, as has been indicated in thy sojourn through the activities as Dunning. Hence as ye will find, as ye apply yourself, ye are judged according to thy SPIRITUAL intent and purpose. And as these become a part of the activity through the directing in that way and manner, the ways will open - either through the government associations or the activities or foundations in that direction.

62. (Q) Please describe and interpret my seal. (A) The cross and the crown. These may be thy accomplishments, if ye will but LIVE the life - even as was begun in thy ministry in the Palestine experience. The crown OVER the cross - as a part of same.

63. (Q) What would you advise me to do in regard to changes

622-4 Page 7

in my present employment? (A) This had rather come with the natural developments as ye apply yourself in other activities and there is the outlet for thy abilities that will bring the material gains or activities for carrying on in the direction as ye set thy course.

64. (Q) For what definite purpose was I born in this present experience? (A) As has been indicated.

65. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (Reinald Werrenrath, 2222 Andrews Ave., New York, N.Y.)
