1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [624], present in this room.
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions which disturb the better physical functionings of the body. These are rather of the specific nature, though the effects produced in the varied functionings and activities of the system vary considerably at times. These are, as we find, arising from conditions that arise from an old condition in the system produced by the lack of the proper eliminations during those periods when the distresses were in the body from a cold, from congestion, and from an internal injury. Then, these have produced, as we find, an adhesion in a portion of the system that affects the body through the eliminating and assimilating system, and thus produces in the caecum and in the areas from the liver, in the pancreas, in the activity of the lacteal ducts, strains that produce reactions to the nervous system and to other portions of the body that disturb the better physical functionings of the system.
3. As to the activities through the system in this body, then, we find these as those conditions that are the results of the physical conditions:
4. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY is deficient in the quantity of the red blood cells produced. Also at other times there is a lack of the quantity of the plasm in the coagulations; hence producing the conditions that make for tautness in various functioning organs at varied periods, bringing to the blood supply, the nerve plasm, the spasmodic reactions in the activities of the system; thus making for the disturbances throughout the body.
5. In the NERVE SYSTEMS proper, we find both the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system AT TIMES involved; though the general physical forces of the body ATTEMPT to meet the varied conditions, and there are periods when the response of the impulse is carried on through the nervous
624-1 Page 2
system to meet the conditions; yet - from the conditions produced in that assimilated and in the manner assimilated - not SUFFICIENT to make for a normal reaction. Hence these conditions come in the nervous system, and their responses in the functioning of the organs, as periods when the body is very good in many respects; yet rarely entirely free from the effects that have been produced in the system.
6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS THEMSELVES:
7. Brain forces and their responses oftentimes require those reactions through sedimentations to and for the system to prevent the intense reactions from the responses in the various portions of the system, by their effect upon the nervous systems; yet their responses thus far are near normal.
8. The organs of the sensory system are very good in their reaction.
9. Throat, bronchials, lungs, larynx, show the effect of these conditions as they affect the varied activities in the respiratory system and the heart's action; yet organically not disturbed.
10. In the digestive area, as we have indicated here in the lower portion of same, we find the basis or the seat of the disorders; specifically, though, rather in the caecum and the right side area, or those as affecting the hepatic circulation and the activities to those portions of the body.
11. The pressures produced from same in the lower hepatic circulation become spasmodic, and the effect of these in this portion of the body is of the same nature.
12. Then, in meeting the needs of these conditions, as we find them in this body, [624] we are speaking of, present in this room:
13. First we would begin with those activities in the system as to cleanse the lower portion of the digestive system from the toxic forces that may prevent the body from its response through the use of the high colonic irrigations. These we would take, at least two or three in a two weeks period, dependent upon the RESPONSES of the body to same.
14. Then we would take into the system a tonic or toner to those portions of the digestive system or area, those portions of the ducts through which the activities of assimilation take place, and to those reactions in the caecum where the adhesions have shown and do show their effect. Then we may make the applications that would make for the more specific and the more permanent results in bringing normalcy for the forces in the system. So, to 1 gallon of distilled water, we would add - in the order and

manner given: Wild Cherry Bark....................2 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root...................2 ounces, Burdock Root........................2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root..................1/2 ounce, Black Snake Root..................1/2 ounce, Wild Ginseng......................1/2 ounce. Reduce this by slow boiling until when it is drained only 1 quart remains. Strain while still warm and add to same: Tincture of Stillingia............1/2 dram, Dried Podophyllin...................1 grain, Tincture of Buchu Leaves..........1/2 dram. Cut 2 drams of Balsam of Tolu in 3 ounces of grain alcohol and add to the solution.
15. Shake solution together before the dose is taken, which would be teaspoonful 4 times each day, before meals and before retiring.
16. When about a third of this quantity or solution has been taken, we would begin with the Castor Oil packs over the caecum and liver area. These we would keep up for about three days.
17. Then we would take INTERNALLY two tablespoonsful of Castor Oil.
18. Then keep the Castor Oil packs for another day or two.
19. Throughout the period, except for the day when the Castor Oil is taken internally, keep up the doses of the medicinal properties in the solution prescribed.
20. After these have acted through the system, we would then use the electrically driven vibrator for a period of fifteen to twenty days. Principally would this be applied in the 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal area, and at the 4th, 3rd and 2nd cervical area; though over the MUSCULAR forces of the abdomen area will be beneficial - but when this is done use the sponge applicator.
21. In the diet be mindful to keep the non-acid producing foods.
22. And we will find we will bring for this body near normal conditions, [624].
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) What causes burning under left shoulder blade? (A) Acidity in the system, and the effect of those adhesions in the caecum area that make reflex actions to these portions of the body.
624-1 Page 4
25. (Q) The burning sensation of skin? (A) Disturbed circulation.
26. (Q) What causes the swelling on left side? (A) This is from the weakened conditions in the pleura of the area where the disturbances are in the system, as indicated.
27. (Q) Can the colonics be given at home, or who should give those? (A) They may be given at home; though it would be preferable that they be given where the proper regulations and precautions may be taken.
28. (Q) What causes the nausea? (A) The stricture or adhesion in the area as we have indicated, which makes for the regurgitation of the lower gastric forces back into the system. Hence the reason for first cleansing the poisons from the colon area; then the addition of the properties as outlined to tone or to prepare the various activities of the glands in the system for the rejuvenation of their activity as related to that assimilated; then the cleansing of the system with the packs, you see, to relax and to add to the activity of the lymph and emunctory circulation through those areas in the gall duct, in the lacteal duct, in the caecum and the whole of the digestive tract - then the cleansing of same; then the stimulations, and with the diet kept so that what is assimilated will be body-building - or the non-acid or more alkalin foods, see? Do these, and we will bring the near normal condition for this body.
29. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (GD's note of 8/4/34: Letter was enclosed to Snyder Pharmacy. Letter was enclosed with directions to Dr. Ober regarding colonics.
