Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [628].

2. Now, as we find, there are minor conditions in the present that disturb the physical forces of this body. While they may gradually disappear, through the normal development and through the growth and vitality as set up by the system in creating a balance, they must leave their reaction upon the vital forces of the body - even in correcting self; and thus leave some portions of the vital parts of the development under those strains that would affect the better physical and mental reactions of the body.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [628]:

4. From some outside influence there has been an effect created on the locomotory center in the 2nd and 3rd dorsal area, that makes for a pressure on the circulation to the head. This is gradually affecting the right ear and the impulses in the imaginative body, to be shy, backward in its approach to give expression of self; as well as causing a deflection in the circulation to the throat and head. This, as we find, is the effect of a serum of some nature.

5. Then, in correcting these conditions, we would find there should be the adjustments and coordinating of the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system that work in sympathy with the coordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal; as in the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, from the 3rd and 4th cervical, 8th, 9th, 10th dorsal and the 4th lumbar.

6. Also there should be added to the system minute or small quantities of those effective forces with the respiratory system and the sympathetic impulses that arise to the secondary cardiac reflexes in the throat and head and nasal cavities, and to the ear.

7. And these conditions would be overcome.

8. Three to six to thirteen adjustments; that is, they may be given in periods of three or six treatments, then a rest

628-2 Page 2

period followed with another series. This would be the better manner.

9. During the rest period we would add only to the assimilating forces small quantities of Syrup of Squill, that would be active for the respiratory system. This would be given a quarter of a teaspoonful, with syrup or honey or plain, about twice a day during the periods when the treatments osteopathically are NOT being given, see?

10. As to the matter of diet, we would keep those things that are of the alkalin nature for the system. This will prevent any acid accumulations from the impairing through the improper circulation caused by the pressure in the particular area that has been affected by the centralizing or localizing of conditions in the dorsal, as indicated.

11. Doing this, we would bring for this body, [628], a normal development, without those reactions that would be detrimental in one way or another; more apt to the soft tissue in the ear area.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Should the adjustments be made osteopathically? (A) Osteopathically, of course; for this is the method by which coordination is made between various centers along the system. This is the variation between the different schools in adjustment or massage. Some schools of adjustment work on the theory that if you relieve the pressure in one area the other naturally adjusts itself! But the osteopathic method makes the coordination. Then, we find the osteopathic and the neuropathic being the greater beneficial applications in such fields of activity.

14. (Q) What causes the sniffles that she seems to have in the morning on arising? (A) Accumulations from the impairment in the secondary cardiac reaction from pressure in the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, or 2nd and 3rd and 4th dorsal center.

15. (Q) Will this be relieved by this treatment? (A) This is what we have given it for, as we have outlined and indicated!

16. (Q) Will the dropped lip gradually get well by itself, or should something be done about it? (A) As we find, these same applications are to create a better coordination in the circulation, as we have indicated; and will make for an even, well-balanced, developed body, and would care for this particular condition. Do these, as we find, for the better forces for this body.

17. We are through for the present
